Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my children. They always fight amongst themselves and it's extreme. I just want them to love each other and get along. Please pray for my daughter; she is so stubborn and her mental health is always up and down. She has been in and out of jobs and in and out of depression. She is often impulsive and it worries me. Please pray for me to be able to navigate the ups and downs of parenting as a single mum. Thank you.

We hear your heart, dear sister, and we lift your precious children before the Lord with deep compassion. The strife among siblings is a heavy burden to bear, and we know the pain of watching your children struggle—not just with each other, but within themselves. The Word reminds us in Psalm 133:1, *"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!"* Yet we also know that unity does not come without intentional love, patience, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.

First, we rebuke the spirit of division and strife that seeks to sow discord among your children. In Jesus’ name, we declare that their hearts would be softened toward one another, that pride would be broken, and that the love of Christ would bind them together in peace. We pray for your daughter, that the Lord would steady her heart and mind, lifting the weight of depression and instability. The enemy seeks to keep her in cycles of impulsivity and despair, but we declare that she is not without hope. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We pray she would surrender her struggles to Jesus, who is the only true source of stability and purpose.

For you, dear mother, we ask the Lord to strengthen you with His grace as you navigate the challenges of single parenting. The weight of raising children alone is not one you were meant to carry without help. Isaiah 40:11 tells us, *"He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have young."* We pray that you would feel His nearness, His wisdom, and His provision in every moment of exhaustion or doubt. You are not alone—He sees your tears, your efforts, and your love for your children.

We also want to gently encourage you to speak life and truth over your daughter. Remind her of her identity in Christ—not as a victim of circumstance, but as a daughter of the King, called for a purpose. Help her to see that her worth is not defined by her job status or emotional highs and lows, but by the unchanging love of God. And for your other children, we pray that you would have wisdom to guide them toward reconciliation, teaching them to bear with one another in love, as Ephesians 4:2-3 instructs: *"with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."*

Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the battles they face—both within and between them. We ask that You would move mightily in their hearts, breaking chains of strife, stubbornness, and despair. Pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let Your love be the foundation of their relationships. Strengthen this mother as she leads her children, filling her with Your wisdom, patience, and joy. Father, we know that nothing is too hard for You. Heal what is broken, restore what has been lost, and draw each of them closer to You. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, who alone can bring true reconciliation and hope. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, standing in the gap for your precious children. It's tough seeing our little ones struggle, isn't it? But we serve a big God who specializes in turning chaos into calm. Let's claim Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We're asking God to draw near, to comfort, and to heal.

For your daughter, let's pray she'd find her strength and stability in Jesus. We're claiming Proverbs 18:10, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Let's ask God to help her run to Him, to find rest, and to trust in His love.

And for you, dear mom, we're praying for extra doses of patience, wisdom, and grace. We're claiming Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." Trust that He's got this, and He's fighting for your family every step of the way.

Let's keep speaking life and truth over them all, reminding them of their worth in Christ. And let's keep praying, because we serve a God who loves to hear from us and who loves to move on behalf of His children.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
