My mother - stroke?

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
My ### fell this morning. Sje cannot walk. We suspect it was stroke. She is now in the hospital running tests. First she was at nefrology, then at neurology. She also has Alzheimer first late phase and diabetes. Lord please heal her and do the miracle. I want my mom back in her full strength. She is ### and was running around sometimes washing dishes or cleaning.
Lord i want a miracle. This is my mom. I dont want her in institution where people only wait her to die. Lord Jesus have mercy❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

We have heard your cry for your mother and we are joining you in prayer before our heavenly Father in Jesus' name, asking for His mercy and healing hand upon her.

Our hearts are moved by your love for her and your desire to see her restored to strength, washing dishes and moving about her home again. We understand your fear and your sorrow as she lies in the hospital undergoing tests in nephrology and neurology, unable to walk after her fall, and carrying the heavy burdens of Alzheimer in its late phase and diabetes. We weep with you and we bring her before the Lord who sees her and loves her deeply.

We are reminded of the compassion of our God who heals, as it is written Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. And also Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We know that nothing is too hard for Him, and that He is our refuge in this time of trouble, for Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He has promised Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We lift your mother together in prayer now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to Your throne of grace and we lift up this precious mother to You. You know her by name, You know every hair on her head, every struggle of her body and mind. Lord, we ask for Your mercy upon her. Touch her brain and her body, restore what the stroke may have injured, steady her legs that she may walk again if it is Your will. We pray for healing in her kidneys and her neurological system, for balance in her blood sugar, for clarity and peace in her mind amid Alzheimer. Lay Your healing hand upon her, Lord, for You are Yahweh who heals. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and nurses caring for her, that they would have clear insight into her tests and give the right treatment with compassion. We pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard her and her family, and that she would feel Your presence even in the hospital bed, even if she cannot express it. We ask for a miracle according to Your perfect will, and we trust that Your will is good and loving even when we do not understand. Keep her from being forgotten or neglected, and give her family strength to honor her and advocate for her and show her Your love each day. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to honor your mother as the Lord commands in Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, and to keep holding her hand, speaking to her gently, praying aloud over her, and playing worship or reading Scripture at her bedside. Even when memory fades, the spirit can still be comforted by the presence of loved ones and by the Lord. Do not lose heart if the healing does not come in the way you expect, for the Lord is near to her whether at home or in the hospital, and He will not leave her nor forsake you. Keep asking the medical team questions, keep seeking the best care for her, and keep trusting that our God is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine.

We also thank you for calling upon the name of Lord Jesus, for it is by His name we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard, as Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Continue to call upon Him day and night, for He hears the prayers of His children. We are standing with you, asking the Lord to show His mercy and power and to give you strength for each hour ahead.

We can hear how much you love your mother and how frightening this morning has been. One moment she was moving around your home doing dishes and cleaning, the next she cannot walk and is being moved between departments for tests. With Alzheimer's and diabetes already part of her story, waiting for answers feels overwhelming, and the thought of an institution is painful to consider.

We are praying with you for healing and for mercy, and also for wisdom for the doctors and nurses caring for her right now. While she is in the hospital it can help to have one small notebook where you write down what each team says, what tests are planned, and what questions you still have. If you can, ask to speak with the hospital social worker or chaplain. They often know about home health, respite, and caregiver support nearby and can help you think through next steps without you carrying it all alone. Try to bring another family member or trusted friend to those conversations and to make sure you are eating and resting when you can. Caregiving in this season is heavy and you need support too.

We have seen how familiar hymns and quiet prayers can still bring calm even when memory is fragile, and we pray that comfort surrounds her now.

Father, we lift this dear mother and her child to You in Jesus' name. Have mercy, bring Your peace into that hospital room, guide the hands of those treating her, and give this family strength, clear direction and felt nearness to You in these uncertain hours. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for your mother has come before us with a tenderness that must surely touch the heart of our compassionate Lord. To see one so dear to you, who but yesterday was moving about her home washing dishes and cleaning, now fallen and unable to walk, lying in the hospital while physicians search from nephrology to neurology for the cause, and to bear this burden while she already suffers the slow sorrow of Alzheimer and the infirmity of diabetes, is a trial that well may break the heart. You ask for a miracle, that she might be restored to full strength, and that she might not be left in an institution where it seems men only wait for death. The Lord Jesus have mercy is a prayer He delights to hear.

Remember that our great Physician is grand in emergencies. When human skill is at its end, His power is but beginning. If the disciples had considered the miracle of the loaves they would have known that Christ displays His power spontaneously, without need of pressing or even prompting. He saw the misery of that afflicted woman who was bent double and could in no wise lift up herself, though she presented no request, and it was the sight of her misery that touched His heart. So He sees your mother now upon her bed of pain, and He sees your own broken heart as you watch and wait.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. The power to save from sin and to heal the body does not lie in the person to be healed, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. Our Lord did nothing but speak, and the unclean spirit departed and the palsied rose. He is able to heal, and though He is not always engaged in healing at the same measure, there are seasons of refreshing when His healing power is conspicuously present, and He can work this mighty miracle of mercy more swiftly than we can speak of it.

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when the Lord comes and dwells with His people they have no need to say, I am sick.

Let us bring this hard case before Him together, for from the healing of the sick we take comfort to bring every hard case before Him.

O Lord Jesus, great Miracle Worker, Thou who hast all authority in heaven and earth, look in mercy upon this dear mother. Thou knowest her frame, her years, her afflictions, the stroke that is feared, the mind clouded by Alzheimer, the body weakened by diabetes. Lay Thy healing hand upon her as Thou didst lay hands upon the afflicted woman and she was made straight immediately. Speak the word only, and she shall be healed, if it be Thy gracious will. Give wisdom to those who examine and tend her, comfort to her child who loves her so dearly and longs for her return in strength, and peace to her own soul. If it be not Thy will to restore her at once to full vigour, grant that she may feel Thy presence, that she may not be forsaken in any ward or institution, but kept as the apple of Thine eye, and that whether by sudden mercy or by sustaining grace, Thy name may be glorified. Heal the broken heart of this beloved child who waits, for Thou healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds. Grant pardon, healing, and at last that perfect health where there shall be no spot or wrinkle or any such thing.

Continue to watch and pray, and to consider the miracles of Christ as they have transpired in your own life story, and be not afraid whatever your present trouble may be. Cast your burden upon the Lord who bore our sicknesses, and trust that whether He restores in this life or prepares for the life to come, His conduit head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below shall not fail you. May the God of all comfort keep you and your mother in His tender care until you see His perfect will accomplished. Amen.
