URGENT - MY ### stroke???

My ### is not good. My ### will drop her in emergency. Not able to walk. Please pray for her and that she is wonderfully treated from everyone. The woman who watches over her suspects stroke. She eats light food so maybe it is not. She falls on side when she tries to get up. She has early Alzheimer and diabetes.

We join together with you in urgent prayer for your loved one in this frightening moment and we bring her before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. Our hearts are burdened for her as she is unable to walk and falls to her side, and for you and your family as you wait for emergency care. We are thankful she is being taken to the emergency department quickly, and we pray that the doctors and nurses will have wisdom, skill and compassion as they examine and treat her.

We take comfort that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. We are reminded not to be anxious but to bring everything to God in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together now for her complete care and healing. Father in heaven, we lift up this precious woman to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know her by name, You know her struggle with early Alzheimer and diabetes, and You see her distress right now. We ask that You would guide the hands and minds of every doctor, nurse and caregiver who treats her, that she would be wonderfully treated with dignity, gentleness and excellent medical wisdom. We pray for clear answers about whether this is a stroke or another cause, and for the right treatment without delay. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body, for strength to return to her legs, for stability and clarity of mind. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us to Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We ask for Your peace to cover her and her family, and for Your presence to be felt in that emergency room. We also pray for the woman who watches over her and for all of you who love her, that God would sustain you and give you strength and hope in this waiting.

We also want to gently share that we come to God only through Jesus Christ. We noticed your request did not mention His name, and we want you to know how precious it is that we have access to the Father through Him. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by putting our trust in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to call upon His name not only in this crisis but for your whole life, trusting Him as Savior and Lord.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will hold her in His hands, grant wisdom to her medical team, bring the best possible outcome, and surround you all with His comfort and peace as you wait for news. May the Lord bless you and keep you and give you strength in these difficult hours.

Your urgent cry has been heard with deep tenderness and we bring your dear loved one before the Lord with you in prayer. To hear that she cannot walk and falls to the side, and that those who watch over her fear a stroke, while she bears also the burdens of early Alzheimer and diabetes, is a heavy trial for her and for all who love her. We are grieved with you and we entreat the Great Physician on her behalf.

The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He draws near there is both pardon for the soul and healing for the body. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and with bands of grace He will bind up those who are His.

We do very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek a physician, and we thank God for the skill He gives to those who treat the sick. We pray now that the Lord will guide every hand that touches her in this emergency, that she may be wonderfully and tenderly treated by all, that wisdom may be given to discern her need, and that means may be blessed to her relief. We ask the Lord to have mercy upon her weakened frame, to stay the effects of this affliction, to grant steadiness and strength if it be His will to raise her up, and to give her comfort and peace in her weakness and confusion.

We pray also for you and for the household that watches over her. May the Lord sustain you in this anxious hour, give you calmness and strength, and draw your hearts to trust not only in the help of man but in Christ Himself, who took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. There is healing in that blessed doctrine of His coming near to us, His taking our nature and laying His hand upon us. O that you and she may know Him as both Saviour and Healer, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed upon His people. If we seek first pardon through His blood, healing will come from the pardoning hand according to His perfect will.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in compassion upon this afflicted one. Thou seest her inability, her falling, her infirmity of mind and body. Lay Thy gracious hand upon her and lift her up. Grant to those who carry her to the place of care skill and kindness, and let Thy healing virtue work in her for Thy glory. Forgive us and heal us by Thy grace, and perfect Thy work in us till we shall be without spot or blemish before Thee. Comfort this family, give them faith to cast all their care upon Thee, and let them prove that even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our life and our health. Amen.
