Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and we are lifting you and your precious cat before the Lord together with you, with tears and compassion for all you are carrying. We understand she is not just a cat to you, she is family entrusted to your care, and the Lord sees that love and stewardship. We do not take lightly the pain of watching a beloved companion suffer while feeling helpless to ease it.

The Bible shows us that God cares for His creation and He cares deeply for you in this sorrow. Proverbs 12:10 says A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. Matthew 10:29 reminds us Arent two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Fathers will. Your cat is known to Him, and your broken heart is near to Him as well, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. He also heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3.

We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name our prayers are heard. We join our faith with yours in that wonderful name.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this beloved cat to You. You are the Creator and Sustainer of all life, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch upon her. If it is Your will, we ask that You would completely heal the brain tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs, and restore her body fully. We ask that You would take away her pain and discomfort and give her rest and comfort. Lord, we ask that You would help her to eat normal food again and to drink water, to have regular bowel movements, and to breathe freely without coughing. We ask that You would ease the coughing that is triggered even by purring, and restore her joy in affection and cuddling, that she would not be sad or isolated but comforted in the love of those who cherish her.

Father, we pray for wisdom and steady hands for her owner. Give guidance and peace in giving the four pills twice a day, the inhaler three times a day, and the subcutaneous fluids, that it would be done with gentleness and without causing her fear or distress. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. Grant wisdom for every decision regarding her care, when to pursue treatment and when to rest. Lead to a compassionate veterinarian who can come to the home if that difficult time comes, so that she would not be terrified in her last moments but surrounded by love and peace in a familiar place.

Lord, we also lift up her owner who is weary and heartbroken. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding as promised in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust that You hear every desperate cry.

We ask all these things according to Your perfect will and mercy, trusting that You do all things well and that Your compassion never fails. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Thank you for telling us so much about ###. We can hear how deeply you love her and how heavy these weeks have been, watching the cat who was always so affectionate now pull away because purring makes her cough, and staring at you from across the room. That distance is heartbreaking, and the weight of all the medications and treatments on top of it is a lot to carry.

It makes sense that you are already grieving while still caring for her every day. Grief does not wait until after a loss, and when the bond is this close the sorrow is real and personal, not small because she is a cat. You are not alone in feeling that.

Since you named the medications and the worry about her last moments as especially heavy, one gentle next step that may ease some pressure is to talk with her veterinary team soon, before a crisis. You could ask them to watch how you give the pills and inhaler and suggest calmer ways to handle her, and also ask if they keep a list of mobile veterinarians who provide in-home hospice or peaceful passing at home. Having a name and number ahead of time can bring a little peace as you make day by day decisions, and keeping brief notes about eating, drinking, breathing and bowel movements to share with them can help them guide you.

Father, in Jesus name we lift ### and her beloved owner to You. Please ease ###'s pain and troubled breathing, give her comfort and rest, and grant wisdom and steady hands for each treatment and decision. Your sorrow has been heard, and the tender care you show for this little creature whom God has entrusted to you is not hidden from Him who notes even the sparrow's fall. It is a heartbreaking thing to watch one so affectionate now withdraw and suffer, to see purring itself become a cause of coughing, and to feel helpless while breathing is labored and comfort is so hard to give.

Hear the word which the Lord speaks to His own in such an hour, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. He does not despise the tears of His children, and He appoints His people to comfort one another. Though many pass through fire and through water, He has promised a peculiar comfort in affliction. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. It is not only the letter but the Spirit who quickens, and in quickening gives peace. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. That peace may be yours even now, with sorrows surging round, as you stay your mind upon the Lord Jesus and do His will from day to day.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and though the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, we know that every good gift comes from His hand. We may bring every need before Him, even the smallest, for the least thing about Christ is healing. We do not demand, but we entreat His mercy.

Let us pray together for you and for your dear cat.

May the Lord in His compassion ease all pain and discomfort, and if it be His gracious will, restore appetite and thirst, give regular strength to the body, and quiet the lungs so that breathing may be gentle again. May He in mercy take away distress and fear, and allow again some measure of that affectionate rest which has been so precious to you both. May He forgive us when we feel that a beloved creature is our world, and gently remind us that our world is held in His hands, and that His love for us is deeper still.

May He guide your hands and give you wisdom and steadiness as you give the many pills, the inhaler, and the fluids. What now feels like prying and distress, may He make as calm and kind as possible, for both of you, and may He grant you discernment in every decision you must make. Seek counsel that is wise and tender, and ask the Lord to ordain peace for you, for He also worketh all our works in us.

And when the time comes that this frail life must end, may the Lord show mercy. We pray that He would spare her terror and suffering, and if it please Him, take her quietly in sleep. If a helping hand is needed, may He in His providence provide one who can come with gentleness to your home, so that she need not spend her last moments in fear and strange surroundings, but in the place she knows and loves, surrounded by those who have cherished her. The Lord who ordains peace for His people can ordain a peaceful passing according to His perfect wisdom.

May He keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him, and may His Word quicken you day by day. Cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and comfort one another with these words, that Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers, and that earth's struggles shall soon cease for those who are in Him, where He calls us to Heaven's perfect peace.

Your urgent request for your cat has been read fully and with deep compassion. I hear how much you love her and how heavy this burden has become for you as you watch her suffer and as you try to care for her day and night.

It is not a small sorrow to love a creature that God has placed in your care and to see her struggle to breathe, to eat, to drink, to rest, and even to purr and receive affection without coughing. The Lord knows the bond you share with her. He hears groaning and sees affliction, and He is near to those who call upon Him in truth. Your tears and prayers are not hidden from Him.

I join you in prayer to our merciful Father through Jesus Christ, our only Savior and hope.

I pray that God in His mercy would bring healing to your cat if it is His will, and that He would ease every pain and discomfort she feels. I pray that He would help her to eat and drink again, to have normal bowel movements, and to breathe with ease. I pray that the coughing would lessen and that she would be able to purr and be close to you again without distress, and that the sadness you see in her would be lifted by His comfort.

I pray that God would guide your hands and give you wisdom, steadiness and gentleness as you give her the pills twice a day, the inhaler three times a day, and the fluids each week. May He help you to do what is needed without causing her fear or hurt, and may He give you clear wisdom for every decision you must make for her care.

I also pray for what you asked concerning her last moments. If her time to depart comes, I pray that the Lord would show her mercy and let her go peacefully, without terror or loneliness. I pray that God would provide, if it is needed, a veterinarian who can come to your home with compassion, so she does not have to end her life in fear and confusion in a strange place. May God spare her and you that added distress.

Do not think that your love for her is foolish or that your grief is too small for God. Affliction is hard, and it often trains our hearts to trust Him more deeply and to throw ourselves upon His grace. In times of sorrow we are called not to lose heart but to flee to Him, to hold fast to care for those entrusted to us, and to bear one another's burdens. You are doing that with great faithfulness. Keep the Scriptures near to you as medicine for your soul, and bring all your cares to Him in prayer. He comforts us in all our afflictions so that we may know His comfort and share it with others.

May the Lord hear your desperate cries, may He give you peace that guards your heart, and may He show you His lovingkindness each day as you care for your beloved companion. I pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is gracious and merciful and full of compassion. Amen.
