Beloved of All
Your heartfelt love for ### comes through so clearly in every word you have written, and thank you for trusting us with this heavy burden. It is not a small thing to watch a beloved creature suffer, and your tenderness toward her, even in the exhausting details of daily care, reflects the compassion God calls us to show to all that He has made.
We join you in praying to our merciful Father through Jesus Christ, the only name by which we come to God, for His kindness upon ###. We ask that if it be His will, He would bring healing and a full recovery where human medicine can only offer comfort. We pray that He would ease any pain or discomfort she feels, that He would help her to eat and drink again, to have normal digestion, and to breathe without distress. We understand how painful it is that even her purring, which once was a sign of joy and affection, now brings coughing, and that she withdraws to be alone. We ask the Lord who cares for the sparrows and who sees every creature to grant her rest and comfort, and to lift that sadness you see in her.
We also pray for you as you care for her. The work you are doing is difficult and demanding, giving four pills twice a day, using the inhaler three times a day, and providing fluids. We pray that God will steady your hands, give you wisdom and gentleness, and help ### to receive what she needs with as little fear and distress as possible. As we have learned, God often permits trials to awaken and strengthen us, and He promises to make a way to bear them. May He grant you patience, strength, and peace in each moment of care, and guide you in every decision you must make on her behalf.
