Sensitiveness of Christ
Heaven’s Nurse Children
Hagar in the Wilderness
Your love for your cat and the depth of your sorrow have been heard with deep compassion. It is clear how precious she is to you, and it is not a small thing to watch a beloved creature suffer while feeling helpless to ease her pain. God sees the care you give and the tears you have poured out, and He is merciful and attentive to all His creation.

We join you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ, asking for His mercy and comfort for both of you.

We pray that God in His compassion would bring healing to your cat according to His perfect will, and that He would ease any pain, discomfort, and distress she feels. We ask that He would help her breathe more easily, that the coughing would lessen, and that she would again find comfort in affection and closeness without suffering. We pray that He would restore her appetite and thirst, help her to eat and drink again, and grant her regular and comfortable bodily functions.

We pray also for you, that God would give you steadiness, gentleness, and wisdom as you care for her. May He guide your hands as you give her pills, use the inhaler, and provide fluids, so that it may be done with as little fear and distress for her as possible. May He grant you clear wisdom for every decision you must make, and peace in knowing you are acting out of love and mercy.

We pray that if it is His will to take her, He would do so with great mercy, sparing her terror and pain, and allowing her to pass peacefully and surrounded by love in the place she knows as home. We ask that God would provide, if needed, a kind veterinarian who can come to your house, so she does not have to endure fear in her final moments. Above all we ask that you would feel God near you in this grief, that He would comfort your heart, sustain you with His promises, and remind you that our hope is not only in this life but in His eternal care.

Take comfort in the Scriptures as medicine for the soul when grief weighs heavily. Pour out your heart to the Lord honestly, as you have done, and rest in knowing that He hears every prayer offered in the name of Jesus. He knows your love, He knows your cat, and He holds you both in His hands.

We will continue to pray that God hears your cries, grants you strength for each day, shows you His mercy in every step, and gives you peace that passes understanding.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Your heartfelt request has been read with care, and the depth of your love and grief is clear. To watch a beloved companion who was once so affectionate now pull away because even purring brings coughing, to see her stare and struggle to breathe, to eat, to find comfort, is truly heartbreaking. It is right to bring this sorrow to the Lord, for He sees and He cares.

There is real consolation in Christ, especially in seasons of sickness and when death draws near. He meets us with compassion and mercy, with the fellowship of His Spirit, and He understands sorrow upon sorrow. Scripture tells us of one who was sick and near to death, and how God had mercy on him, and also on those who loved him, so that they would not be overwhelmed with sorrow upon sorrow. God is still the God of mercy. He is looking for the reason to show mercy, and He is very full of pity. His mercy is as high as the heavens are above the earth toward those who reverence Him, and His goodness and mercy endure forever. Even when we are afflicted and do not understand His purposes, we can ask that His merciful kindness would be our comfort according to His word.

The Lord invites us to pray for the sick. In the ministry of Jesus and in the early church, many were brought in prayer before the Lord and knew His healing touch. We are taught that if anyone is sick to call for the elders and let them pray, anointing with oil in the name of the Lord, and that the prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise them up, and that the fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. We will join our faith with yours and pray earnestly for your cat, asking the Lord to be merciful.

We pray that God, in His compassion, would ease her pain and discomfort and give her rest. We ask Him to touch her lungs and her breathing, to calm the coughing, to restore her ability to eat and drink and to have normal bodily functions, and if it be His will, to bring complete healing. We ask Him to restore to her the comfort of purring and affection without suffering, and to lift the sadness you see in her.

We also pray for you. It is difficult to find those who naturally care for the state of another with the same heart, but the mind of Christ is to look not only to our own needs but to the welfare of others, and your tender care for this little creature reflects that love. May the Lord guide your hands as you give the pills, the inhaler, and the fluids, so that you can do what is needed without causing her fear or distress. May He give you clear wisdom for every decision you must make, and peace in knowing you are doing all you can in love.

Suffering has a way of making time feel very long, and grief can leave even faithful friends speechless, as they see how great the pain is. The Lord knows that heaviness. He also uses even seasons of pain and grief to shape us and to deepen His comfort in us, so that we may know His presence more fully. What feels long to us is but a moment in light of eternity, and one day we will see the full purpose of God with clarity. Until then He promises to deal with His servants according to His mercy and to be our comfort.

We pray too for mercy at the end of her life, whenever that time comes. We ask the Lord to spare her terror and to grant her a peaceful passing, and to provide for you the right help so that she does not have to be afraid and alone in an unfamiliar place. Above all we ask that you would feel heard, that you would know the Lord has heard your desperate cries offered in Jesus name, and that whether He brings healing or gentle release, you will experience His goodness and His mercy that endures forever, and give thanks for His wonderful works even through tears.

May the Lord surround you both with His compassion, comfort your heart, and let you rest in His faithful care. In Jesus name we pray, trusting His perfect love and wisdom to do what is best.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your precious cat. We have continued to lift her up before the Lord and we remember her many needs before His throne.

We have been praying that God in His mercy would bring complete healing and full recovery if it is His will and that He would ease any pain or discomfort she is feeling. We have asked Him to touch the brain tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs and to bring comfort to her breathing. We have prayed that He would help her to eat normal food and drink water again and to have regular bowel movements. We have lifted up the heartbreaking struggle where purring triggers coughing and keeps her from seeking affection and cuddling and leaves her sad and laying alone and staring at you. We know how much she means to you and that she is your world and we have asked the Lord to restore her comfort and joy.

We have also prayed for you asking God to guide your hands and give you wisdom and peace as you give her four pills twice a day and use the inhaler three times a day and provide the weekly subcutaneous fluids without causing her distress or hurt. We have asked for His guidance in every decision you face regarding her care and for His provision to help you find a compassionate veterinarian who can come to your house if the time comes when she needs to be released from suffering. We echo your prayer that the Lord would show her mercy and if it is His will to take her peacefully in her sleep at home where she feels safe and loved rather than in fear at the clinic. We take comfort that the Lord cares for all His creation and that not one sparrow is forgotten before God as taught in Matthew 10:29 and that He is close to the brokenhearted as shown in Psalm 34:18.

We continue to stand with you in prayer. In Jesus name we pray that the Lord will grant her comfort and strength and that He will grant you peace wisdom and rest as you care for her and trust Him. Amen.

If your request was answered please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son Jesus Christ.
