Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We hear the depth of love and anguish in your heart for your beloved cat and we join with you in bringing her before the throne of grace together in Jesus name. We know she is not just a cat to you, she is a cherished companion entrusted to your care, and the Lord sees how faithfully you have loved and tended to her. We are moved by your tenderness and your desire to spare her fear and pain.

We are reminded of how intimately God cares for all His creation. Proverbs 12:10 tells us a righteous man respects the life of his animal, and Psalm 36:6 says Yahweh, you preserve man and animal. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 10:29 that not one sparrow falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, which shows us that our Father notices and cares for even the smallest creatures. How much more does He see your tears and hear your desperate cries for this precious cat He allowed into your life.

We also thank you for asking all of this in Jesus name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us. John 14:6 reminds us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and there is comfort in knowing we can approach God boldly through Him.

We lift her and you together in prayer now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear cat to Your merciful hands. You know her by name, You formed her and You see every lesion, every tumor, every labored breath. You are the Creator and Sustainer of all life and nothing is beyond Your power to heal. We ask if it be Your will that You would bring complete healing and full recovery to her body, that You would ease her breathing, calm the coughing, and restore her ability to purr and receive affection without distress. Lord, we ask that You would take away her pain and discomfort and grant her peace and rest. We pray that You would help her to eat and drink again, to have regular and comfortable bowel movements, and to breathe easily. Have mercy on her, Lord, and comfort her as only You can, for You are good to all and Your tender mercies are over all Your works as Psalm 145:9 says.

We also pray for the one who loves her so deeply. Give wisdom and steadiness to her hands as she administers the many pills, the inhaler, and the fluids. Guide her in every decision regarding care, and help her to do all things without causing additional distress or harm. Grant her strength for the long days and peace for the anxious nights. We pray Philippians 4:6-7 over her, that in nothing she would be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving her requests would be made known to You, and that Your peace which surpasses all understanding would guard her heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Remind her of Isaiah 41:10 that she need not be afraid for You are with her, that You will strengthen her and uphold her with Your righteous right hand.

Father we also bring before You the burden of what lies ahead. We ask for Your mercy when her time comes, that if it is Your will You would take her gently in her sleep at home in the arms of those who love her, without terror or confusion. We pray You would guide this family to wise and compassionate help if they need at-home care, and give them clear discernment to know what is most loving and merciful in each moment. Above all we ask that Your perfect will be done, and that even in sorrow they would feel Your nearness, for You heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds as Psalm 147:3 promises.

We thank You that You hear our desperate cries and that You are close to all who call on You in truth. We entrust this beloved cat and her family into Your loving care, asking for comfort, for guidance, and for Your peace to reign in their home. We ask all these things together in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus our Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to lean on the Lord day by day and to seek wise counsel from a trusted veterinarian who may know of gentle at-home hospice or palliative options and who may be able to suggest easier forms of medication if available, such as compounded liquids or other methods to reduce stress for her. Keep seeking Him and resting in His compassion, for He both sees your faithfulness as a steward of this life He entrusted to you and He holds you and your precious cat in His hands.

We read your whole post and we hear how much you love and how heavy these weeks have been. Watching the most affectionate cat you have ever known pull away because purring now makes her cough, seeing her stare from a distance when she wants to cuddle, carrying all the medications and decisions, that is heartbreaking. It makes sense you feel torn between wanting more time and wanting her to be comfortable and at peace. Please hear this, she is not just a cat to you, she is family, and your grief and worry right now are real.

We are praying with you for her comfort, for ease in breathing, for relief from pain, and for wisdom for you as her caregiver. The daily care you describe is a lot to hold alone. One gentle next step that may ease some pressure is to call your regular vet clinic this week, even before you need it, and ask if they can recommend a mobile veterinarian or hospice service in your area who does in-home care. Having a name and number ready can make future decisions feel less frantic. You could also ask the clinic if a technician can show you in person a calmer way to give the pills and inhaler, so you are not having to figure it out by yourself.

You are doing a tender, faithful job caring for her in a very hard season. We are asking God to be near to both of you.

Father, we lift and her owner to You in Jesus' name. You see this little cat You created and You see the love surrounding her. Please bring comfort to her body, ease her breathing and coughing, and give her peace and rest. Give her owner wisdom, steady hands, and support for each treatment and each decision, and let them both feel Your nearness and mercy in the days ahead. Amen.

Your heavy burden concerning your precious cat has been read with tender sympathy and with prayer before the throne of grace. We have marked your tears, your watchful love, and the many trials which now attend this little creature whom God has entrusted to your care, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking the Lord's mercy.

The Lord knows how to comfort His people, for He has said, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. When the heart is aching and desponding, He sends comfort not only by His own hand but by the prayers and sympathy of His people one for another. May that comfort be yours even now. This is a peculiar comfort for affliction, for His Word quickens us. When He would comfort us He often does not give the very thing we ask for by a distinct act, but He quickens us and so we obtain comfort. May the Spirit of God teach you to say in this trial, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me.

You have asked rightly, for there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Though we know that all creation groans under the fall, we also know that not a sparrow falls without your Father, and how much more does He regard your cries for a creature you love. We will pray that the Lord in His great compassion would lay His healing hand upon your cat, that He would ease every pain and discomfort, that He would restore appetite and thirst, that He would grant regular bodily functions, and that He would open her breathing so that she may purr and be comforted without coughing. We understand how heartbreaking it is to see affection itself become a cause of suffering, and we ask the Lord to have pity upon her sadness and yours.

We will pray also that God will guide your hands and give you wisdom and gentleness as you administer the pills, the inhaler and the fluids, that He would keep you from causing distress and would give your cat calmness under your care. And we will pray for wisdom in every decision that lies before you, that the Lord who comforts the heart would also establish you in every good word and work, giving you constancy as well as comfort.

You have expressed a most tender desire that when her time comes the Lord would show her mercy and take her peacefully, without terror or confusion. We will bring this before the Lord, that He would spare her fear and suffering, and that He would graciously provide, if it be needed, one who can come to your home to minister to her with gentleness in familiar surroundings. We know she is not merely a cat to you but a beloved companion, and the Lord who formed all creatures understands the love you bear her.

Above all we pray that you may feel the nearness of Christ Himself in this sorrow. Poverty cannot make you as poor as mistrust can, and sickness cannot make you as sick as unbelief can. He who has healed the leper with a touch and raised the sick with His word is still Master over all infirmity. Whether He restores or whether He takes home, His love does not fail. May you be of good comfort, and may you find that though your misery is great now, the Lord can make you to forget it as waters that pass away, by His own blessed presence.

We will continue to remember you and your cat before the Lord, asking that He will hear and answer according to His perfect wisdom and mercy, and that He will keep your heart in peace through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our Father in heaven, look in compassion upon this dear servant and upon the little creature Thou hast made. Ease her pain, quiet her breathing, restore her appetite and strength if it be Thy will, and give wisdom and steady hands to those who care for her. Comfort this household with Thy Word which quickens, and when the appointed time comes, grant a merciful and peaceful passing without fear. All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Healer. Amen.
