Disciple of Prayer
I reach out today because of fear and anxiety of a person that lives with me will lose control and won't want to continue keeping the commitment between me and him there's a lot of stressors and a lot of things that keep hanging by a thread but I'm praying that my significant other will not lose control and just pick up and leave as we've been through a lot together I just continue praying that he will understand things are going to get better and for him to understand that Jesus has a plan for us and that he's not the only one that's walking through a storm.

We understand the deep fear and anxiety weighing on your heart, and we want to lift you up in truth and prayer. First, we must gently but firmly address something vital: your reference to a "significant other" living with you outside of marriage is not aligned with God’s design. The Bible clearly teaches that sexual intimacy and cohabitation are reserved for marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 7:2). Living together without the covenant of marriage is fornication, and while we know this may feel harsh, we speak out of love and concern for your souls. God’s ways are for your protection and blessing, and He calls us to holiness—not because He is cruel, but because He knows what is best for us.

If you are not married, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, committing to honor Him in this relationship moving forward. If marriage is not possible or not the intention, then the biblical path is separation, as difficult as that may be. The Lord does not bless relationships built on disobedience, no matter how deep the love or shared history. We encourage you to pray earnestly about this and seek counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can guide you both toward godliness.

That said, we also hear the pain in your words—the fear of abandonment, the stress of life’s storms, and the longing for stability. You are right that Jesus has a plan, but His plan is always rooted in obedience to His Word. He does not call us to walk in fear but in faith, trusting that He will provide even when circumstances feel fragile. Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 6:33-34: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."* Your security is not in this man’s commitment but in Christ’s unfailing love for you.

We also want to address the absence of Jesus’ name in your request. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of God (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we plead with you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without Him, there is no true peace or hope.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift this precious sister before You, asking for Your mercy and grace to flood her heart. Lord, convict her where she has strayed from Your Word, and give her the courage to walk in obedience, even if it means making difficult choices. If this relationship is not honoring to You, soften both of their hearts to repent and seek Your will—whether that means marriage, separation, or redemption through Christ.

Father, we rebuked the spirit of fear and anxiety that has taken hold of her. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Replace her dread with Your peace that surpasses understanding. If this man is the one You have for her, bind his heart to hers in a way that honors You, and lead them both to the altar of marriage. But if he is not, give her the strength to trust You even in loss.

Lord, remind her that You see every tear, every fear, and every broken place. You are her Provider, her Protector, and her ultimate Love. Draw her closer to You in this season, and let her find her identity and security in Christ alone. Break any chains of sin or codependency, and set her free to live for You.

We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to spend time in Scripture, especially Psalm 34:18 (*"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"*) and Philippians 4:6-7 (*"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*). Cling to Jesus, seek His face, and trust that He is working all things for your good—even when the path is hard. You are not alone; He is with you.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we're here for you. We understand the worry and anxiety that's been weighing heavy on your shoulders. It's like you're in the middle of a storm, and it's hard to see the other side. But remember, Jesus is in that boat with you, calming the waves and commanding the wind.

We want to encourage you, first and foremost, to lean into Jesus. He's not just a plan, He's a Person who loves you deeply and wants the best for you. Trust that He's got this, even when it feels like everything is falling apart. As it says in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Now, about the relationship. We know it's tough, and it's easy to feel like you're losing control. But remember, God's ways are always for our good and His glory. If this relationship isn't honoring to Him, it might be time to take a step back and seek His will. It's not about being alone, but about being in the right place, with the right person, for the right reasons.

We're praying for you, sister. We're asking God to fill you with His peace that passes understanding. We're asking Him to give you the courage to make the right decisions, even if they're hard. And we're asking Him to bind your heart to His, so you can find your security and identity in Him alone.

You're not alone in this. We're here for you, and so is Jesus. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking His face. He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with this deeply personal burden and allowing us the honor of lifting you and your relationship before the Lord. These past few days, we have continued to pray for God’s peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, asking Him to replace your fear with His perfect love. We’ve also been interceding for your significant other—that the Lord would soften his heart, renew his strength, and remind him of the commitment you’ve both made to one another and to God.

Living under constant stress and uncertainty can feel overwhelming, but we take comfort in knowing that Jesus walks with you both through this storm. We’ve prayed specifically for the Holy Spirit to bring clarity, patience, and perseverance to your relationship, and for God to reveal His purpose in this season. The enemy wants to use fear and anxiety to divide, but we declare that God’s plan for you is one of hope, unity, and restoration.

If the Lord has brought peace, understanding, or a breakthrough in this situation, we would love for you to share a praise report with us—your testimony could encourage others who are facing similar struggles. If the weight of this trial still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to post an update so we can continue standing with you in prayer. You are not alone in this, and we are here to lift you up as long as it takes.

May the God of all comfort wrap His arms around you both, reminding you that He is faithful to complete the good work He has started in your lives. We are believing with you for His perfect will to prevail, for His strength to sustain you, and for His love to bind your hearts together in trust and patience.

We pray this in Jesus’ name.
