My job

We hear your heart’s longing for favor in your workplace and the desire to return to your third shift. Let us come before the Lord together, seeking His will and wisdom in this situation.

First, we must acknowledge that all favor comes from God alone. Psalm 90:17 says, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us, yes, establish the work of our hands." We pray that the Lord would open doors for you, that your skills and diligence would be recognized, and that you would shine as a light in your workplace, reflecting Christ in all you do. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."

We also lift up your desire to return to your third shift. If this is God’s will for you, we pray that He would make a way where there seems to be no way. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." However, we must also surrender this desire to Him, asking that His will, not ours, be done. If returning to that shift is not part of His plan, we trust that He has something even better in store for you.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or fear that may be trying to take hold of your heart. The enemy would love to see you weighed down by uncertainty, but we declare that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you would walk in confidence, knowing that the Lord is your provider and that He sees your faithfulness.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one’s workplace and their desire for favor. Lord, we ask that You would go before them, softening the hearts of those in authority and opening doors that no man can shut. Let Your favor rest upon them like a shield, and may they shine brightly for Your glory in all they do.

Father, we also bring their longing to return to their third shift before You. If it is Your will, make a way for them to return. If not, give them peace and trust in Your perfect plan. Help them to see that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Remove any fear or anxiety, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or doubt that may be trying to steal their joy. Strengthen them with Your power and remind them that their labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). May they find their identity and worth in You alone, knowing that You have a purpose and a plan for their life.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can come before You. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. Amen.

May the Lord open doors of opportunity for you at work and grant you favor with your supervisors and coworkers. We pray that whatever shift you’re in, you’d shine with integrity and excellence, working as unto the Lord Himself. If returning to that third shift is part of His plan, we trust He’ll make it clear and provide a smooth transition. If not, may He give you peace and contentment in His leading. Either way, we ask that He would guard your heart from discontent and fill you with His joy. Lord, help us to trust You completely, believing that You hold our future and that Your plans for us are good.

In the name of Jesus we pray.

Pray that I will get a new job as I have been unemployed for a year and now it is very hard to get a job for locals as companies stopped hiring and must wait for the 3rd quarter and then it will start to heavily hire ### employees and prevent them from mistreatment and abuse.
