My husband is in witchcraft convenant

We hear your deep distress and spiritual burden regarding your husband’s involvement in witchcraft. This is a grave matter, for Scripture is clear that witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, the Word of God declares, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Witchcraft is not merely a harmless practice, it is a direct rebellion against God, opening doors to demonic influence and spiritual bondage.

Your husband’s covenant with witchcraft is a covenant with darkness, and it grieves the Holy Spirit. We must rebuke this stronghold in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no power in heaven or on earth that can stand against Him. In Acts 19:19, we see the power of repentance and renunciation: "Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all." This is the kind of decisive action that must take place, your husband must renounce every ungodly covenant, burn every object of witchcraft, and turn fully to Christ.

We also lift you up, dear sister, for you are in a spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to destroy your marriage, your faith, and your peace. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You must stand firm in prayer, fasting, and the Word of God. Do not engage in arguments or debates with your husband about this, your strength comes from the Lord. Instead, pray without ceasing, trusting that God hears you and will move on your behalf.

We pray now in the authority of Jesus’ name:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that Your Word declares witchcraft to be detestable in Your sight. We renounce every covenant, every agreement, and every unholy alliance that ### has made with darkness. We break these chains in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written that ‘the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil’ (1 John 3:8). Lord, we ask that You would open his eyes to the deception he is under. Let conviction fall upon his heart, and let him see the danger of his ways. Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage, over ###, and over ###. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy. Surround them with Your angels and fill their home with Your presence. Give ### strength, wisdom, and discernment as she stands in faith. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, and we command every spirit of witchcraft to flee in Jesus’ name. Lord, restore what has been stolen, restore joy, peace, and righteousness to this home. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can stand with you in prayer and provide biblical guidance. Do not isolate yourself, this is a battle that must be fought with the support of the body of Christ. If your husband is unwilling to repent, you may need to consider what boundaries are necessary to protect your own spiritual well-being, always remembering that your first allegiance is to Christ.

Continue to saturate your mind with Scripture. Meditate on passages like Ephesians 6:10-18, which reminds us to put on the full armor of God. Stand firm, sister, for the Lord is your refuge and strength. He will not abandon you. If your husband does not know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, now is the time to pray fervently for his salvation. Share the gospel with him in love, but do not compromise your own faith in the process. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.

We’re carrying you and your husband before the throne of grace. When someone we love is entangled in a covenant of darkness, it can feel terrifying and isolating, but you are not alone, and this is not beyond the reach of Jesus’ power. The enemy’s hold may appear strong, yet Christ’s victory was won at the cross, and every false covenant must ultimately bow to His name. That truth doesn’t minimize the pain you’re feeling right now, but it does anchor our hope in something unshakable.

One of the most helpful things you can do right now is to surround yourself with steady, prayerful believers, a trusted pastor or a mature couple who grasp the spiritual nature of this battle. They can stand with you in regular prayer, offer wisdom for your daily interactions with your husband, and help you resist reacting out of fear. Your own spiritual safety matters too; stay grounded in Scripture and sing simple worship songs over your home. You might also quietly set aside a time each week to fast and pray specifically for your husband’s freedom, not as a magic formula but as a way of leaning wholly on God.

It’s natural to want to fix things or confront directly, but lasting deliverance almost always unfolds as the person himself comes to desire freedom. So your most powerful role is to be a faithful, peaceful presence, praying, loving him without endorsing the darkness, and entrusting the outcome to the One who loves him even more than you do.

Jesus, we bring this husband before you. You see every entanglement, every covenant made in secret. We ask you to shatter them by your truth and light. Draw his heart to genuine repentance and to the only true Deliverer. Guard his wife from spiritual attack; wrap her in your peace that surpasses understanding, and give her the exact wisdom she needs each day. We pray in your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The bondage of witchcraft is no light thing, yet the covenant of grace is mightier far. Remember the word of the Lord: “When Israel came out of Egypt, it was Jehovah who brought forth her armies.” The Lord who delivered His people from Pharaoh’s grip is the same God who shall break every chain of darkness. Your husband’s soul is not beyond the reach of the ransom price, Christ Jesus has found a ransom, and that ransom is effectual for all who will be delivered from the pit. Cry mightily to God, for He hears the groaning of His children and remembers His covenant.

Let not your heart sink in despair. The enemy would whisper that this bond is unbreakable, that God’s ear is shut, but these are lying arrows from the pit. The covenant of grace is not a thing of works or human strength; it stands on God’s own promise and Christ’s finished work. As it is written, “He will ever be mindful of His covenant.” Plead that covenant before the throne. Lay hold of the promise that He will put His law in the inward parts and write it in hearts, and pray that the Spirit of adoption might banish the spirit of bondage from your husband’s soul. The deliverance that sets captives free comes by divine power, and it often comes when we are brought low, when we sigh and cry under the load.

You are not called to fight the darkness with your own arm; you are called to trust in the Captain of your salvation. Stand firm in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free, and from that place of peace, wage war in prayer. The blood of the Lamb was enough to loose Israel from Egypt; it is enough to loose your husband from this snare. He who established the covenant will not suffer one single promise to fall to the ground. Therefore, wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and expect that He who began to show mercy will yet make the bells of deliverance to ring. Go forward in faith, for the battle is the Lord’s.

A covenant with witchcraft is a grievous snare of the devil, one that binds the soul to darkness. Yet you remain bound by the Law to your husband as long as he lives, for the woman which hath an husband is bound to him. Do not think that departing from him will serve your devotion, lest by withdrawing you drive him further into the pit of destruction. What then must you do? Let your conduct be marked by gentleness, by meekness, by propriety, for these are the things which will more effectually win him than any harshness. The unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and you are not made unclean by his presence. Hold fast to your own fidelity to Christ, the one Bridegroom, and let your chaste and respectful behavior be a silent testimony. As the woman at the well perceived Christ to be a Prophet when He laid bare her hidden things, so may your husband, through your patient endurance, come to see the truth you possess. Flee from any share in his sin, but do not flee from the marriage bond, lest you deliver him wholly to the adversary. Pray without ceasing, but also remain, that by your life you may win his soul.

The anguish in your words is felt. A covenant is a binding reality, a spiritual transaction, and it is clear that an unholy one has been formed. The Scriptures speak plainly about covenants made with false gods, and the desolation that follows is grievous. Yet the overwhelming message from God’s Word is not a call to compare the strength of one covenant against another, but to proclaim the absolute supremacy and finality of a new and better one.

Every covenant God made with man was broken by man. The imagination of the heart is evil from youth, and the pattern is consistent: Adam broke his covenant, the seed of Abraham broke theirs, and Israel shattered the covenant of the law. The fault was not with the covenant, but with the people. The old covenant, glorious as it was with its ministry of death and condemnation, was never designed to be permanent. It was a guardian until the fullness of time, but it waxed old and was ready to vanish away. Your husband has entangled himself in a covenant that leads only to death, but God has already set that entire order aside to establish something far more glorious.

The new covenant in Jesus Christ is not like the covenant made on the mountain. It is not a list of demands written on cold stone, dependent on our frail and unfaithful promises. This covenant is written on the fleshy tablets of the heart. It is a covenant of grace, forgiveness, and mercy, and it was brought into force through a death, the death of the mediator Himself. Jesus took the cup and declared it to be the new covenant in His blood, shed for the remission of sins. This is the covenant that truly binds, because it is predicated not on human strength to keep it, but on God’s own faithfulness, and surely He is faithful.

The bondage your husband is under is real, but the freedom that is found where the Spirit of the Lord is, is freedom from the very law and powers that seek to destroy him. The answer is not to dwell on the strength of the darkness, but to lay hold of the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. This is not a battle of equal spiritual forces. The covenant that ministered death had a certain glory, but the covenant that gives life and cleanses from dead works is overwhelmingly more glorious. By His death, Jesus has purged us from dead works to serve the living God. The sign of this everlasting covenant is the broken bread and the cup, a constant reminder that sin is passed over and we have passed from death into life.

Your hope and your spiritual position rest entirely in this new covenant. When the enemy would whisper that the power of a wicked covenant is too strong, remember this: the first covenant has been decayed, waxed old, and has been set aside. The priesthood that mediated it is over. Your prayers and your stand must not be rooted in fear of that old order, but in the triumphant reality that Christ has established a new covenant forever. Cry out, not for a contest of powers, but for the manifest supremacy of the covenant of life to swallow up the covenant of death for your husband. The One who reproved kings for the sake of His people and who swore by an oath to Abraham has made a new and everlasting covenant. That is the ground on which you stand, and from which we pray.
