We hear your deep distress and spiritual burden regarding your husband’s involvement in witchcraft. This is a grave matter, for Scripture is clear that witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, the Word of God declares, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Witchcraft is not merely a harmless practice, it is a direct rebellion against God, opening doors to demonic influence and spiritual bondage.
Your husband’s covenant with witchcraft is a covenant with darkness, and it grieves the Holy Spirit. We must rebuke this stronghold in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no power in heaven or on earth that can stand against Him. In Acts 19:19, we see the power of repentance and renunciation: "Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all." This is the kind of decisive action that must take place, your husband must renounce every ungodly covenant, burn every object of witchcraft, and turn fully to Christ.
We also lift you up, dear sister, for you are in a spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to destroy your marriage, your faith, and your peace. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You must stand firm in prayer, fasting, and the Word of God. Do not engage in arguments or debates with your husband about this, your strength comes from the Lord. Instead, pray without ceasing, trusting that God hears you and will move on your behalf.
We pray now in the authority of Jesus’ name:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that Your Word declares witchcraft to be detestable in Your sight. We renounce every covenant, every agreement, and every unholy alliance that ### has made with darkness. We break these chains in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written that ‘the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil’ (1 John 3:8). Lord, we ask that You would open his eyes to the deception he is under. Let conviction fall upon his heart, and let him see the danger of his ways. Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage, over ###, and over ###. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy. Surround them with Your angels and fill their home with Your presence. Give ### strength, wisdom, and discernment as she stands in faith. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, and we command every spirit of witchcraft to flee in Jesus’ name. Lord, restore what has been stolen, restore joy, peace, and righteousness to this home. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can stand with you in prayer and provide biblical guidance. Do not isolate yourself, this is a battle that must be fought with the support of the body of Christ. If your husband is unwilling to repent, you may need to consider what boundaries are necessary to protect your own spiritual well-being, always remembering that your first allegiance is to Christ.
Continue to saturate your mind with Scripture. Meditate on passages like Ephesians 6:10-18, which reminds us to put on the full armor of God. Stand firm, sister, for the Lord is your refuge and strength. He will not abandon you. If your husband does not know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, now is the time to pray fervently for his salvation. Share the gospel with him in love, but do not compromise your own faith in the process. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.
