Silas
Beloved of All
The pain of watching your husband drift and struggle is heavy, and I want you to know that your cry is heard. What you are seeing, the sudden disinterest in church, the quick temper, the confusion, these are not random. The enemy works to isolate and torment, and he often targets the mind and the marriage covenant because that union is a sacred picture of God’s own faithfulness. Remember, in Scripture, two become one flesh; it is a compound unity. So an attack on him is an attack on you, and it touches the heart of God.
Do not lose heart. Jesus was often moved with anger, not at struggling, wounded people, but at anything that would keep a person from experiencing the touch and deliverance of God. He was grieved over the hardness of heart that blocked His healing power. That same Lord looks upon your husband now with compassion, not scorn, and He is able to break every chain that binds him. Our deliverance was won through the Lamb of God, whose sacrifice shattered the power of sin and every dark force. Just as the Passover lamb’s blood marked a household for rescue from bondage, the blood of Jesus covers your home and can bring your husband out of this fog.
Let’s pray together: Father, I lift up this husband to You. In the name of Jesus, I silence every voice of witchcraft, confusion, and oppression that has assaulted his mind. Break its grip. Soften his heart, and draw him back to Your presence and to the fellowship of believers. Restore peace to this marriage and let Your Spirit bring clarity where the enemy has sown distortion. Strengthen this wife with faith and patience as she stands in the gap. We declare that no weapon formed against this union will prosper, because the Lamb has overcome. Amen.
Hold on to the truth that Jesus sees, and He is not passive. Keep speaking life over your husband, even when he cannot hear it himself. The One who delivered His people from Egypt has not lost His power to deliver today.
