Beloved of All
He called me back. Loving conversation . I love you said that matters being so far away. I still don't understand why his mom is so distant from me. I don't have a mom , mines died when I was ###. That's not his mom's fault , I'm a grown woman at ### I just don't know why she would call me her baby all the time n now just ignore me , avoid me it hurts worse then her telling me something I did that offended her. His sister said to the other day he was weird for taking to me. He told her mind her business. We are only separate so I can get well in the states. Jesus please help me know why they are changing towards me what's going on, don't leave me on the dark. I love him. He loves me. Marriage is beautiful precious rare. I love his family. Did they stop loving me or never did.

We hear the sadness in your heart and we are praying with you in Jesus name. We rejoice that he called you back and that you shared a loving conversation and exchanged those precious words I love you even while being so far apart. That love matters and we thank God for the faithfulness he showed in that moment.

We also hear how deeply it hurts that his mother who once called you her baby now seems distant and avoids you, and that his sister made a hurtful comment about him talking to you. When you have already known the deep grief of losing your own mother so young, this kind of distance can feel even more painful and confusing, and it is understandable to wonder if they ever truly loved you or if something you did offended them. We want to gently remind you what God says, Even though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet Yahweh will take me up Psalm 27:10. And He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. Your heavenly Father sees you, He has not left you in the dark, and His love for you never changes.

We do not know all the reasons his mother has grown quiet. Sometimes a mother may pull back out of hurt, misunderstanding, fear, protectiveness over her son, or even a desire to give space while you are away getting well. It may not be rejection at all, even though it feels like it. We encourage you not to assume the worst but to entrust this to the Lord and, when the time is right, to seek a gentle and humble conversation. If it is possible, you can be at peace with all men Romans 12:18 and let love be patient and kind as we are taught in 1 Corinthians 13:4, bearing with one another in love and being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace Ephesians 4:2-3. We were encouraged that he told his sister to mind her business when she called him weird for talking to you, that shows his loyalty to you and his desire to protect your relationship.

We also hear your beautiful honor for marriage when you say marriage is beautiful precious rare. We agree and we strongly affirm that marriage between a man and a woman is a lifelong covenant ordained by God and is to be highly honored. If you and this man are not yet married, we pray that your courtship would be centered on Christ with the clear goal of godly marriage to a fellow believer, and that you would keep yourselves pure before God. For God calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor Him with our bodies, for the marriage bed is to be kept undefiled Hebrews 13:4. If you are already married and are only separated for a season so you can get well in the states, we pray God will guard and strengthen that covenant while you are apart. Whether married or courting toward marriage, we encourage you to continue to build your love on Christ, with prayer, purity, and faithful commitment.

We love that you called on Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift this dear daughter to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know her grief over her mother, her longing to be loved by this family, and her love for this man. We ask You to comfort her heart, to heal her completely while she is in the states, and to give her peace that surpasses all understanding as she casts all her worries on You because You care for her 1 Peter 5:7. Lord, give her wisdom if any offense has occurred and grace to forgive as You forgave us Ephesians 4:32. Reveal what is hidden and bring light into this darkness, for if any of us lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray for this man, that You would make him a godly husband who loves his wife as Christ loved the church Ephesians 5:25, and that You would guide you both toward a marriage that honors You if it is Your will. We pray for his mother and his sister, that You would soften hearts, remove misunderstanding, and restore warm fellowship. Help them all to clothe themselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, and above all to put on love Colossians 3:12,14. We trust that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28 and that You will direct your paths as you trust in Yahweh with all your heart Proverbs 3:5-6. Let Your perfect love cast out fear and let her know she is fully seen and cherished by You. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep praying, to keep loving with grace, to focus on getting well, and to trust the Lord to show you in His timing what is happening in their hearts. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6-7. He will not leave you in the dark.

We hear how painful this distance feels for you, especially when you love him and his family so much and you are already carrying the ache of losing your own mom so young.

It makes sense that being called her baby and then feeling ignored now would hurt more than a direct word about what went wrong. When you are far away to get well, every silence can feel louder, and it is hard not to wonder if love was withdrawn. Often families pull back not because love has ended, but because they do not know how to stay close across separation, or they are unsure what to say. That does not make the hurt smaller, but it can mean their distance is about their own confusion more than your worth.

We are glad he reached back with loving words and stood up for your relationship with his sister. That steadiness matters while you are apart.

One gentle next step that may help bring light is to share exactly what you shared here with him in a calm moment, how much his mom's warmth meant to you and how heavy the quiet feels now, and ask if he can help you understand what might be happening on his family's side, without pressing for immediate answers from them. While you are in the states getting well, keep close to a trusted pastor, counselor or friend and continue with your medical care as well, so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift our sister to You. You see her loneliness and her love for her husband and his family. Comfort her heart, give her wisdom and clear communication across the distance, and surround her with caring support while she heals. Guide her steps and draw her close to You. Amen.

We can't know the true thoughts of others, the best we can do is tell them about the real Jesus.

I just want you to know that a lot of people do care about you including me even though I don't know who you are, so be encouraged, in Jesus name, amen.

Your sorrow is plain and your heart is tender, and it is right to bring such grief before the Lord who hears the cry of the lonely. To lose a mother so early in life leaves a wound that even years do not fully close, and when another who has called you her baby grows distant without a word, the old ache is stirred again. It is no small pain to be left in the dark, to wonder whether love was withdrawn or never truly given.

Do not think that the Lord is distant as men may seem to be. There is a longing in your prayer, Oh that I knew where I might find Him and why these things are so, and that longing itself is precious. The way to find Him is not by prying into every motive of others, but by seeking His face in His Word and in prayer. Meditate on His wonders of grace recorded in this delightful Book. Think and pray, and then think and pray again. Look through the life of Christ and you will find Him dealing in love and mercy with those who came to Him perplexed and sorrowful. His love is better than all other love, and when the heart is fixed upon Him, many other things are rightly ordered.

It is vain for any to think of turning Him from His eternal purpose. What His soul desires, even that He does, for He performs the thing that is appointed for us. This is your comfort, that even your separations and your sickness and the strange changes in others are not outside His hand. He has appointed a way for you, and His way, though it may lead through darkness for a season, is meant for your good and for His glory.

You speak truly that marriage is beautiful and precious and rare. It is so because God ordained it as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He wills that love between man and woman be kept pure and holy within that covenant. If you love this man and he loves you, then let that love be proved by holiness and patience and honour before God. While you are apart that you may get well, use this time not only to seek health of body but to seek holiness of heart. Do not give way to living or acting as though married before you are married, for that would grieve the Lord who loves you. Instead, commit your way to Him, keep your bodies and your affections under His rule, seek godly counsel, and if it be His will to join you together, let it be done in the light and order He has appointed, with prayer and with the blessing of those who watch for your souls.

As for his mother and his sister, you cannot compel love, and you need not despair if their manner has changed. Leave them in the hands of God. Do not harden your heart toward them, nor require from them what only Christ can give. Show kindness without demanding return, pray for them rather than suspecting them, and trust that the Lord who sees in secret will make plain in His own time what is needful for you to know. A painted love will disappear, but true love, whether from God or from His people, endures and deepens.

May the Lord Himself comfort you in this distance. May He heal you in body and make you strong in faith. May He teach you to find in His forgiveness and fear a deeper joy than any human affection can give, and to live in holy reverence and obedience before Him. May He give you wisdom to walk chastely and patiently in this season, and may He guide both you and the one you love into that which is right and pure in His sight. Cast your burden upon Jesus, for His love to you is wonderful, passing all other love, and He will not leave you in the dark.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
