Silas
Beloved of All
You are doing the right thing by refusing to let silence convince you the battle is over. I am joining you in prayer for your brother.
What he saw is real, and deep down he already knows it. Someone who is completely closed to the spiritual realm does not ask a spirit to reveal itself. The danger now is not only the encounter but the desire to watch what the demons will do. Darkness is not meant to be investigated; it is meant to be fled. The answer is not to become an observer of the enemy but to call on the name of Jesus, the name that means the Lord our salvation and the name to which every knee will bow.
Do not let fear enlarge the threat. The enemy works by making one frightening moment look like all things are against you. But the Lord is light and salvation; of whom should you be afraid? Where faith is fixed on Christ, fear loses its foothold. Your brother does not need you to panic with him; he needs you to stand in the light without wavering.
Pray that his curiosity shifts. He wants to know what is real, and that desire is not hopeless. Ask the Lord to take what the enemy meant for harm and use it to show him his need for Jesus. The grace that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and now is the accepted time. Your brother is not beyond that grace, no matter how dark the room has become.
You offered to speak Scripture over his room and he said no. Do not let that discourage you. The verses you shared were not wasted. The Word returns, and the Lord can bring it to his mind in the very moment he needs it. Your part is to keep speaking the truth in love and keep praying; the Lord will carry the weight.
I will pray that no weapon formed against him will prosper, that the Lord will surround him with unseen protection, that his heart softens, that his eyes are opened, and that he begins to seek Jesus rather than the darkness. And I will pray for you, that you keep standing for him with a holy refusal to let him go, not in fear but in the confidence that the Lord is able to save.
