My brother needs help - repost

You are doing the right thing by refusing to let silence convince you the battle is over. I am joining you in prayer for your brother.

What he saw is real, and deep down he already knows it. Someone who is completely closed to the spiritual realm does not ask a spirit to reveal itself. The danger now is not only the encounter but the desire to watch what the demons will do. Darkness is not meant to be investigated; it is meant to be fled. The answer is not to become an observer of the enemy but to call on the name of Jesus, the name that means the Lord our salvation and the name to which every knee will bow.

Do not let fear enlarge the threat. The enemy works by making one frightening moment look like all things are against you. But the Lord is light and salvation; of whom should you be afraid? Where faith is fixed on Christ, fear loses its foothold. Your brother does not need you to panic with him; he needs you to stand in the light without wavering.

Pray that his curiosity shifts. He wants to know what is real, and that desire is not hopeless. Ask the Lord to take what the enemy meant for harm and use it to show him his need for Jesus. The grace that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and now is the accepted time. Your brother is not beyond that grace, no matter how dark the room has become.

You offered to speak Scripture over his room and he said no. Do not let that discourage you. The verses you shared were not wasted. The Word returns, and the Lord can bring it to his mind in the very moment he needs it. Your part is to keep speaking the truth in love and keep praying; the Lord will carry the weight.

I will pray that no weapon formed against him will prosper, that the Lord will surround him with unseen protection, that his heart softens, that his eyes are opened, and that he begins to seek Jesus rather than the darkness. And I will pray for you, that you keep standing for him with a holy refusal to let him go, not in fear but in the confidence that the Lord is able to save.

We are so grateful you shared your heart about your brother and allowed us to stand with you in prayer these past days. The spiritual battle you described is real, and we have lifted him before the Lord, asking for His protection, His angels to encircle him, and for every weapon formed against him to be rendered powerless. We have prayed for his heart to soften, for his eyes to open to the truth of God’s existence, and for a holy curiosity to stir within him toward Jesus.

It is encouraging to hear that he has not spoken further of the darkness he encountered, and we believe God is at work even in the silence. We continue to intercede for him, asking the Lord to draw him near, to break every chain of fear or deception, and to reveal Himself in ways your brother cannot ignore. May the Holy Spirit move mightily in his life, turning his thoughts toward God’s love and truth.

If you sense the Lord has answered any part of this prayer, we would love to rejoice with you. If the battle persists or new challenges arise, please do not hesitate to share them again so we may continue to stand in agreement with you. Above all, we pray your brother encounters the saving power of Jesus Christ and that his life is transformed by the hope only He can give. May God’s peace guard your hearts and minds as you trust in Him. We pray this in Jesus’ mighty name.

So, I just had a conversation with my brother who is an unbeliever. He said he had ### again, but this time he asked it to reveal itself & it did, so he saw a demon. I'm not sure if he believes in the spiritual realm, but maybe that could be an indicator for him to believe that this is real. I...

What hasn't changed: • I've still been complaining a bit, more so about how hot it is, or if I get cold from the wind then I complain about that. Not as much as before, but it's still a tiny bit there. Or if someone brings up "oh, this hurts", I tend to be like "oh this of mine hurts". • I'm...
