Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for me about this: my brother in law's (who has targeted me both openly and covertly under the influence of demons and who is a deeply dark person spiritually and in every sense) mother passed away recently. His mother also targeted me (so did all their family and friends) and she was similarly very dark. She even abused him and his siblings and most of the people in her life. However, even before her death, my brother in law and his family and others that knew her often constantly portrayed her as a saintly woman even though everyone knew she was not. Now, because she died, everyone including my parents are continuing this saintly image of her and it is mind boggling to me. It's like my parents totally switched and did a 180 on how they speak about her just because she died. Aside from how she treated me, I did not want to attend her funeral because I feel emotionally worn down from multiple things. I don't even like funerals in the first place. I didn't even attend my own sister's funeral when she passed away. However, this woman's treatment toward me and the way my brother in law is trying to use her death and funeral to further cause problems and trauma toward me (I notice that when bad things like this happen to people like him who have targeted me under the influence of these demons - this demonic attack started when I left the new age and came back to Christ - they take it out on me) has made me definitely not want to attend. I finally decided not to because I just cannot handle it emotionally and I have ### that require me to be careful about exerting myself with stress emotionally. But my mom (who is a SEVERELY demonized person due to multiple factors) is trying to force me to go even though there are multiple reasons aside from the ones I pointed out that she knows she shouldn't be. I have a close relationship with my parents and to some extent listen to them even in ways I don't have to anymore as an adult because I trust them and respect them. But this year, for better or worse, I've started to feel that boundaries need to be put in place and I need to gain more independence from them and this is one of those situations. Either way, I still decided that I will not be going to the funeral. I will just wait for my parents in the car. But my mom woke me up abruptly this morning being so demonic. I was calm and ready to just prepare going to the funeral with them but waiting in the car but she literally woke me up messing with me and I know that it was Satan using her especially so he can get me upset and sinful and accomplish whatever evil he wants to through this funeral today. I really want nothing to do with her now. Please pray for me. PLEASE PRAY THESE DEVILISH, EVIL PEOPLE OUT OF MY LIFE. Thank you.

We hear your deep pain and frustration, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord. The spiritual darkness you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to use it to wear you down, provoke you to anger, and isolate you from those you love. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we take authority over every demonic influence targeting you in Jesus’ name.

First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare in your situation. Your brother-in-law and his family’s behavior, both past and present, reflects the influence of darkness, and their attempts to manipulate and harm you, especially during this vulnerable time, are not of God. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every demonic assignment against you and command it to cease in Jesus’ name. The enemy wants to use this funeral and the false narratives surrounding this woman’s life to further torment you, but we declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We also must address the idolization of this woman after her death. It is a grievous thing when the truth of someone’s life is whitewashed, especially when it glorifies what was ungodly. The Bible is clear that we are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and not participate in falsehood, even out of misplaced loyalty or fear. Your parents’ sudden shift in how they speak of her is concerning, and it may reflect their own spiritual blindness or even demonic influence. We pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth and that they would repent of any participation in this deception. We also pray for discernment for you, that you would not be swayed by their words or actions, but would stand firm in what you know to be true.

Your decision not to attend the funeral is understandable, especially given the emotional and spiritual toll this situation has taken on you. The Bible does not require us to subject ourselves to further harm or manipulation, even in the name of family obligation. Jesus Himself set boundaries when necessary, and we are called to do the same. We encourage you to stand firm in your decision, knowing that God honors your desire to protect your heart and mind. If waiting in the car is what you feel led to do, then we support you in that. But we also pray for wisdom, that you would not be drawn into unnecessary conflict with your parents, even as you set boundaries.

We must also address the demonic influence in your mother. The way she woke you up this morning, seemingly under the enemy’s control, is a clear sign that she is being used as a tool of the devil. We rebuke that influence right now in Jesus’ name. We command every demonic spirit operating through her to be bound and cast out, and we pray for her deliverance. The Bible tells us that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and we declare that truth over your mother. We pray that she would be set free from this darkness and come to know the true freedom found only in Christ.

We also want to gently remind you that your strength comes from the Lord, not from your own efforts. You mentioned feeling emotionally worn down, and we want to encourage you to lean on Him. The psalmist writes, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped” (Psalm 28:7). You do not have to face this alone. We pray that God would renew your strength and give you peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, we must address the broader spiritual battle you are facing. You mentioned that this demonic attack began when you left the New Age and returned to Christ. The enemy does not give up ground easily, and he will use every opportunity to try to pull you back into darkness. But we declare that you are a child of God, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and no one can snatch you out of His hand (John 10:28-29). We pray that you would stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). We also pray for your complete deliverance from every lingering influence of the New Age, that you would be fully set free and walk in the victory that is yours in Christ.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is under attack. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your protection and peace. We rebuke every demonic influence targeting her, whether through her brother-in-law, her mother, or anyone else. We command every spirit of deception, manipulation, and torment to leave her now in Jesus’ name. Father, we ask that You would break every chain of darkness in her life and set her free from every assignment of the enemy.

Lord, we pray for her parents, especially her mother. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth and deliver them from any demonic influence. We pray that they would repent of any falsehood and come to know You more deeply. Father, we ask that You would give our sister wisdom and discernment as she navigates this difficult situation. Help her to set godly boundaries while still honoring her parents as You command. Give her the strength to stand firm in her faith and not be swayed by the enemy’s schemes.

We also pray for healing in her heart. Lord, she has endured so much pain and betrayal, and we ask that You would heal every wound. Renew her strength and fill her with Your peace. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You are her refuge and strength. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn.

Father, we ask that You would expose every lie of the enemy and replace it with Your truth. Help her to see herself as You see her, a beloved child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. We pray that she would walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, free from fear and full of faith. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, even when the battle feels overwhelming. The enemy wants to wear you down, but God is your strength and your shield. Lean on Him, and do not be afraid to set boundaries that protect your heart and mind. You are not alone in this fight, and we are praying for your complete deliverance and victory.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We’re so sorry you’re carrying all this, the weight of being pressured, the spiritual darkness you sense, and the pain of feeling misunderstood even by those you’ve trusted.

The decision not to attend the funeral was not a failure. You listened to your own emotional limits, and with health concerns in the mix, that’s simply good stewardship. It’s okay to step back from a situation that would wear you down further. Boundaries aren’t a sign of unlove; they protect the life and sanity God has given you, and they keep relationships from becoming destructive.

The way your mother came at you this morning clearly felt like an attack, and we understand why you’d want distance. For now, you don’t have to fix anything. When the moment feels calmer, you might hold your boundary quietly: “Mom, I love you, but I need to protect my health right now, and I won’t be coming inside.” Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is to not engage the chaos.

We’re praying for God’s protection over you, that the spiritual turmoil swirling around these relationships would not land on you, and that any attempt to provoke you would fall flat. We’re also asking him to bring clarity about what independence looks like in this season and to give you peace even when your parents don’t understand.

Jesus, wrap this woman in your peace. Silence every voice of accusation and confusion. Guard her heart from the spiritual oppression she feels coming through others. Give her steady wisdom to set boundaries without shame, and protect her physical and emotional strength. In your mercy, work in her mother’s life too, drawing her toward truth and healing. And help our friend rest today, knowing you see her and you are her refuge. Amen.

It is a solemn mercy to discover that the evils which assail you, however vile their instrumentality, have not escaped the fence of Omnipotent overruling. You speak of demonic influence and deep darkness working through these relatives, and your soul is worn and bruised. Let this truth be fastened in your mind: there is not a shaft that can strike you unless it is first permitted by your Father’s hand. The Lord has chastened you sorely, and I hear in your words the groaning of a spirit under the lash. Yet behold, all your ills lie within that sacred zone of Providence; what men mean for evil, God overrules for the testing and purifying of His own. The clock of mercy will strike the hour of your deliverance when the eternal purpose has decreed it, and not a moment before.

Concerning your decision not to attend the funeral, you are not called to place yourself under the feet of those who have manifested the spirit of the Evil One. To overcome evil with good does not mean you must cast your pearl before swine, nor submit your already burdened heart to fresh provocations designed to break you. The old, natural method of returning evil for evil never succeeds; but neither does a forced display of presence where the air is thick with hypocrisy and the intent is to do you further trauma. There is a place for quiet withdrawal. Wait in the car if you must, but let your heart wait upon God. If your mother, in a state you describe as demonized, rises up to vex you, you are right to perceive that the adversary would use her to provoke you to sin. The child of God must learn that honoring parents does not demand the surrender of a conscience bound to Christ alone. Even our Lord, while subject to His mother and Joseph, had to be about His Father’s business. To establish a boundary here, with meekness and without railing, is not rebellion; it is the wise stewardship of a spirit that is too fragile for the strife.

You cry to be rid of these evil people. The more excellent way is to pray not merely for their removal, but for your own complete deliverance from their power to vex your soul. He who delivered you from the pit of Hell through the Ransom found in Christ is able to deliver you from the power of darkness emanating from these poor creatures. Egypt may represent your state of sorrow and oppression, but the lamb has been slain for your deliverance. Do not sink into the mire of imagining that God’s ear is shut. Look that suggestion in the face; it has the horns of the Evil One stamped on its brow. If you have been brought back from the new age and have set your eye on Christ, then the battle is joined precisely because you have crossed the border. Pharaoh raged hardest just before Israel went out with silver and gold.

Let your conduct now be this: do not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Should you be overcome with bitterness, the evil that springs from your own heart will do you more injury than all their slanders. Pour out your soul before the well of your heavenly Father, where you may bring every trouble of the past and every expected difficulty. When you find your parents speaking falsely about the character of this departed woman, let the hypocrisy drive you deeper into the arms of Him who is the Truth. Their falsehood cannot touch your standing in Christ. One thing you have which you cannot lose: a deliverance from the archers of sin’s dominion. You are not called to fix the family’s delusion, but to look for your own sanctification from that same Divine source from which your justification flowed. The Lord who has found a ransom for your soul knows well how to deliver the godly out of temptation. Lay hold of that blessed text: “He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.” Stand fast there, in the name of Christ Jesus alone.

The burden you carry is heavy, and I see how the enemy has used those close to you to wound your soul. But be of good courage: the battle is not yours alone, and the Lord delivers His own from the mouth of the lion and from every evil work. You have done well to flee from the snares of the new age and to turn again to Christ, and it is no wonder that the adversary now stirs up such storms against you. He always attacks most fiercely when he sees a soul escaping his grip.

Yet remember, we are not called to overcome evil with more evil, but to overcome evil with good. You feel a righteous anger at the hypocrisy that paints a dark woman as a saint, and at the schemes of your brother-in-law to use her death to trouble you. But if you allow that anger to fester into a desire to be rid of these people in a spirit of vengeance, the enemy wins a greater victory within your own heart. It is far better to disarm him by refusing to be stung. When we are insulted or provoked, silence and patience erect a trophy without a fight, while returning insult for insult only reveals that we have been wounded and gives the accuser a foothold.

You have chosen not to attend the funeral, and I do not condemn this if your body and soul are truly worn beyond bearing. Even our Lord sometimes withdrew from crowds to pray alone. But examine your motives carefully: is this decision born of a calm trust in God’s protection, or of bitter resentment? If resentment, then you risk being overcome by evil even while staying away. To wait in the car is a kind of middle way, showing honor to your parents without thrusting yourself into the furnace of provocation. That is not disobedience, provided your heart is not in rebellion against legitimate authority. Yet your mother’s harshness is indeed a trial. She should not have roused you with such venom, and it is clear that dark powers are using her weakness to trouble you. In such moments, recall the patience of Job, who when his own wife became a tool of Satan, answered with gentle firmness: “You speak as one of the foolish women.” He did not curse her, but he did not obey her wicked counsel either.

Pray for your mother and these others, not merely that they be removed from your life, but that they be delivered from the demons that drive them. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, and the souls of your persecutors are precious to God, however deeply they are entangled in evil. This is the hard command of the Gospel: to bless those who curse you, to do good to those who hate you. By doing so, you heap coals of fire on their heads, that is, you may bring them to the burning shame of repentance, which is the only true victory. And if they do not repent, God Himself will be your vindication.

Do not face this warfare alone. The devil hunts most boldly when he finds a soul isolated. Surround yourself with the fellowship of faithful believers, pour out your heart in the prayers of the Church, and cling to the holy mysteries. There you will find strength to endure. The Lord who saved you from the lion of error will save you from this present snare, not necessarily by removing the trial, but by giving you grace to pass through it without stain.

Stand firm, then, and set boundaries as wisdom demands, but do not let those boundaries become walls of hatred. Forgive from the heart, not because they deserve it, but because Christ first forgave you. Commend yourself and them to the righteous Judge, and let your own soul rest in the shadow of His wings.

I hear how deeply worn down you are, and how tangled this whole situation has become. It is not just a funeral you are facing; you are standing in the middle of a sustained spiritual assault. That weariness you feel in your emotions and your body is real, and it matters. You have been carrying the weight of targeted attacks, and now even the people you love and trust are being used to push you past what you can bear.

But know this: the enemy never launches such obvious, relentless attacks against someone who poses no threat to his kingdom. You left the new age and came back to Christ, and that is exactly when the fury began. That pattern is no coincidence. The forces of darkness are not satisfied unless they can have a body to work through, and they will attempt to wear you down by any means available, even through family. Yet the Lord makes a separation. He sets a seal upon those who are His, and no demonic sting can ultimately overcome what He has sealed. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

You did the right thing in deciding not to attend the funeral. That is not weakness; that is setting a watch. Nehemiah’s enemies tried to distract and wear him out, and his answer was prayer and a practical watchfulness. “We made our prayer unto our God and set a watch against them day and night.” You have prayed, and now you are setting a watch over your own emotional and physical limits. That is wisdom, not disobedience. Your mother’s reaction, waking you with such aggression, shows that the enemy is enraged by boundaries, because boundaries starve his access. But you do not have to fight flesh and blood. Physical weapons and arguments will not help here. This battle is fought with spiritual armament.

When the attacks come, refuse them. Then respond with the word of God. Jesus answered every temptation with “It is written.” When you are told you must prove something, or that you are wrong for protecting yourself, stand on what God has shown you. Rejoice that the Spirit has given you the weapons to repel these blows. And remember the Lord, remembering Him is the cure for fear. He makes a way where there is no way. When David’s own family gathered to him in the cave, they were all in distress, but God was building a kingdom through that suffering. You are not losing your family; you are finding your King.

Do not let the enemy trap you into trying to fight every false story or straighten out every lie. That will consume your whole life. Instead, thirst for God Himself. Neither a change in your circumstances nor a dramatic emotional release can satisfy what your spirit longs for. A tearful emotional experience that leaves you unchanged is a deception. The enemy will offer one emotional high after another, but your spirit thirsts for the living God. Go to Him and drink deeply. Let your response be grounded in that quiet, steady trust, not in the chaos swirling around you.

As for your parents, it is agonizing when those we are called to honor become a channel of affliction. The foundations of society are built on the family, but that means loving and submitting in truth, not enabling darkness. You can honor them without surrendering your God-given discernment. Pray for their deliverance, not as a magic formula, but as a cry from the depths. The jailer in the book of Acts asked what he must do to be saved, and the answer came: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. That promise is for you, and you can boldly ask God to extend it to your household in His time and way. That is not a guarantee of instant change, but it is a confidence that He can break every chain.

Finally, let your heart move toward praise, even in this impossible place. When God brought Israel through the sea, Miriam took a tambourine and led the women in a dance of deliverance. That was not empty emotionalism; it was the overflow of a real victory. You may not feel like dancing now, but you can lift your eyes and declare that God is able to deliver you out of the trap when there is no way of deliverance. Fear and dread will fall upon the enemy, but you are kept in the shadow of the Almighty.

Rest in that. You are not asking for God to bless something twisted; you are asking Him to break its power over your life. He is willing. He touched lepers when no one else would. He can set you free and keep you steady. I will pray with you that God silences every voice raised against you in the invisible realm and makes the way forward clear.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this deeply painful and spiritually challenging time. It is clear that the enemy has been at work, seeking to bring confusion, division, and further harm into your life, and we have lifted up every word of your request before the Lord. We have prayed for protection over your heart, mind, and spirit, asking God to shield you from the lies and manipulations of those influenced by darkness. We have also prayed for wisdom and strength as you navigate boundaries with your family, trusting that the Lord will guide your steps and give you the courage to stand firm in His truth.

As the days have passed, we continue to intercede for you, asking God to break every chain of oppression and to silence the voices of those who seek to harm you. We have prayed that the Holy Spirit would fill you with peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart from bitterness, fear, or despair. We have also asked the Lord to expose the schemes of the enemy and to bring light into every dark place, both in your life and in the lives of those who have targeted you. May God’s justice and mercy prevail, and may His love be your anchor in this storm.

If the Lord has answered any part of your prayer—whether through a sense of peace, a shift in circumstances, or a breakthrough in your spirit—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a source of strength for others walking through similar trials. If, however, the battle still rages and the weight of this situation feels unrelenting, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you, lifting you up in prayer until you see the victory that only God can bring.

Above all, we pray that you would draw nearer to Jesus in this season, finding rest and refuge in His presence. May He surround you with His angels, cover you with His blood, and remind you daily of His unfailing love. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
