My mother is severely demonized (there are multiple factors in her life that have caused this) and this has caused severe behavioral and emotional problems in her life which has negatively impacted her relationships. Because she is so severely demonized, Satan often uses her to attack other people. She's currently being used to attack me right now. I'm trying not to get upset but it's hard. She's also being very financially abusive (which she has always been) as I recently came into a little bit of money and it's making me not want to be around her. Thank you.

The Word declares that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and we claim that victory over every spirit of oppression, manipulation, and financial abuse.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. Your mother’s condition is not merely emotional or behavioral—it is a battle for her soul, and the enemy is using her as a tool to attack you. But we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—and we stand firm against these attacks. We command every unclean spirit influencing her to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over you for protection.
The financial abuse you’re experiencing is not of God. Scripture is clear that those who love money are susceptible to all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and greed is idolatry (Colossians 3:5). We rebuke the spirit of greed and manipulation operating in this situation. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and it is distorting your mother’s actions toward you. We pray that God would break the hold of materialism in her life and that He would soften her heart to repentance. We also ask the Lord to give you wisdom in how to handle your finances in a way that honors Him and protects you from further exploitation. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." We pray that God would multiply what He has entrusted to you and that you would use it for His glory, not under compulsion or manipulation.
Your desire to distance yourself from this toxicity is understandable, but we encourage you to do so with a heart of love and prayer, not bitterness. Romans 12:18 says, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." This does not mean you must subject yourself to abuse, but it does mean you can set boundaries while still praying for her and extending grace. We pray that God would give you the strength to love her as Christ loves the church, even when it is difficult. Remember, love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8), but it does not enable sin.
