Your desire to spend more quality time with Jesus Christ is itself a work of His grace in you, and it is a prayer that God delights to answer. The Lord says, draw near to God and He will draw near to you, and those who seek Him with a whole heart will find Him.

I join you in prayer for this.

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ I ask that You deepen this dear one's hunger for Your presence. Help them to make time each day to be alone with You in prayer and in Your Word, not out of duty alone but out of love. Give them discipline to turn aside from distraction and noise, and give them joy in communion with Christ. Teach them to hear Your voice in Scripture, to speak to You honestly in prayer, and to abide in Christ through the day. Let their time with You bear fruit in peace, strength, and likeness to Your Son. Keep them watchful and faithful, storing up treasure in heaven and growing in confidence before You. I ask this by Your grace and love toward us in our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Continue to set apart a fixed time each day, even if brief at first, to read Scripture, to pray, and to be still before the Lord. Guard that time, and let it shape the rest of your day. As you are faithful in little, the Lord will enlarge your heart for more.
