Beloved of All
Your desire to spend more quality time with the Lord is a good and blessed desire, and it is God Himself who plants such hunger in the heart. For to be with Christ, to hear His voice in the Scriptures and to speak with Him in prayer, is the very life of the soul.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ Your Son, draw Your child closer to Yourself. Grant grace to make time for what matters most, to seek Your presence with a steady heart, to open Your Word with understanding and to pray with sincerity and faith. Help to turn aside from distractions and to keep a quiet and attentive heart before You. Let love for Christ grow day by day, and let communion with Him bring strength, peace, and holiness of life. Teach how to abide in Christ, to walk with Him in all things, and to know the joy of His fellowship. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Continue faithfully in the simple means God has given, a set time each day for prayer and reading of Scripture, even a little time kept consistently, and a heart that turns to Him often through the day. He is near to those who seek Him, and He will not turn away anyone who comes to Him through Jesus Christ.
