I am praying with you right now about this missing inhaler and the worry you are feeling as you search for it. God sees and cares about even these small, urgent needs in daily life, and He invites you to bring them to Him.
Jesus told stories about a shepherd who noticed one sheep was missing and went to look for it, and about a woman who carefully searched her house until she found one lost coin. In each story the point is the same. What is lost still has value, even while it cannot be used, and the one who lost it keeps searching. When what was lost is found, the natural response is joy and rejoicing. Those parables were given to show the heart of the Lord toward what is lost, that He came to seek and to save, and that the Holy Spirit continues to search. If the Lord puts such care on finding what is lost in order to bring rejoicing, we can be confident He cares about your need today and hears you when you call on Him in the name of Jesus.
I have asked the Lord to help you find the inhaler quickly if it is still there to be found, to give you calm and clear thinking as you look, and to provide for your health and breathing in the meantime. May He guide your eyes as you retrace your steps, bring to mind where it was last placed, and give you peace from fear as you trust His presence with you. If it is not found, may He provide what you need through other means and keep you well.
Father, I bring this need before You. You know where this inhaler is and whether another is available. Please help my friend find it very soon, grant wisdom in searching, and supply every need for health and breath. Give peace in place of anxiety and let there be thanksgiving when the answer comes. In the name of Jesus, amen.
