Thank you for sharing this need so honestly. I am praying with you right now and bringing your breathing and your health before the Lord, who sees and cares about every distress you are facing.
The Bible shows us that Jesus bore our infirmities and sicknesses, not only our sins. Isaiah spoke of Him bearing our griefs and sorrows, and Matthew applies that directly to physical healing, recalling how Jesus went about healing every kind of sickness and disease. When He broke bread He said this is My body broken for you, and we remember that His suffering was for our wholeness. He still heals, and He is not limited to one pattern. Sometimes healing comes in a moment where a person actually feels strength return, sometimes it comes gradually step by step, sometimes through a word, sometimes through touch, and sometimes through the natural processes He built into our bodies. Any true healing is from Him, because He is the one who created the body and its ability to recover. Medicine and the treatments doctors provide can be part of the way He brings that healing, and we can thank Him for those means while we trust Him for the result. There is much we do not fully understand about why some are lifted immediately and others walk through a slower process, but we can be confident of His love and His power and His willingness to hear our prayer.
Scripture also teaches that we have been given spiritual resources to stand strong when we feel afraid or overwhelmed. Our struggle is not fought with physical weapons, but with faith in the finished work of Jesus and with the Word of God hidden in our hearts. When fear or anxiety presses in, we can answer with what is written, remembering His promises and rejoicing that He has given us His Spirit to sustain us. The prayer offered in faith is powerful, and the Lord is the one who raises up the sick. Laying on of hands or anointing is not about any special power in a person, but it can be a simple point where we release our faith and look to Jesus alone.
So I am praying that the Lord will move on your behalf today, that your medication will be mailed without delay or hindrance, that it will work effectively in your body, and that you will begin to feel well very soon. I am asking Him to protect your lungs and to keep you from further asthma attacks, to ease your breathing, to calm your heart, and to fill you with His peace as you wait. May you sense His presence near you, and may you keep your eyes on Jesus, trusting Him for each breath and each step toward renewed health. In the name of Jesus we ask for His healing touch and His care over you.
