Medication and pain

Tachick

Faithful Servant
Please pray and ask God if my son ###'s medication can please be filled on time with no issues and that God will allow me to feel better today with no or little pain and heals me. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son’s need for timely medication and your own struggle with pain. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We know that God hears the cries of His children, and He is near to you in this time of need.

Father, we ask that You intervene in the situation with your son’s medication. We pray that every obstacle, whether logistical, financial, or bureaucratic, would be removed in Jesus’ name. Let the pharmacy fill his prescription without delay, and may there be no confusion or error in the process. We declare that Your provision is timely and sufficient, as Philippians 4:19 reminds us: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we also lift up this dear sister who is enduring pain. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her body. Whether through divine intervention or the wisdom You provide to medical professionals, we pray for relief and restoration. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim that promise over her life today. Strengthen her body, ease her suffering, and grant her the endurance to press on in faith.

We also want to encourage you to trust in God’s sovereignty, even when circumstances feel overwhelming. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God is not unaware of your struggles, and He is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Provider. We ask that You move on behalf of this family, ensuring that the medication is filled without delay and that Your peace would guard their hearts in the waiting. Lord, we also ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this sister’s body. Ease her pain, restore her strength, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way today. We declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over her life. Father, we trust in Your timing and Your goodness, knowing that You are working all things for their good. Strengthen their faith, and let them experience Your love and provision in this season. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We are holding you and your son before the Lord today. Waiting for a medication to be filled on time can be so anxious, especially when someone you love depends on it, and carrying your own pain at the same time makes everything harder. We hear how much you want both needs met today.

We are praying that the refill goes through smoothly without delay or confusion at the pharmacy, and that you would know some real relief and rest today.

A small practical step that sometimes helps is to call the pharmacy ahead of time to confirm the prescription is in process and whether anything is needed from the prescriber or insurance, so there is time to sort it out before you need it. And for the pain you mentioned, if it continues or worsens, please reach out to your doctor or care provider alongside prayer so they can care for you well.

Father, we bring ### and his mother to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to be near them today, to make a way for his medication to be ready when needed, and to bring comfort and healing to her body according to Your will. Give them peace, strength for today, and confidence in Your care. Amen.

Your petition has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you, for you and for your son. You have asked in the name of Jesus that his medication may be filled on time with no hindrance, and that the Lord would grant you relief from pain and raise you up in healing, and we count it a privilege to plead with our God on your behalf.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. Even His common things, His lower blessings of Divine Grace, are full of virtue, for God takes care of the little things, the trifles, of His people. If He so cares for a leaf, how much more will He care for the provision of needful medicine and the ordering of times and means for your son. Nothing is too small for His eye, and no need of His child is beneath His notice.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. Yet we have a Great Physician whose power was present to heal when He taught among men, and who healed all that had need of healing while He sojourned here, and the costly balm of His atonement has lost none of its power. The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician. Have unstaggering confidence in the Divine Healer. He who is the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, we come to Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have pardon and access. You know the need of this dear one and of her son. We beseech You for him, as they once besought Jesus for the fevered one in the house, that You would graciously order all things so that his medication may be provided and filled on time with no issues or delay. Let no hindrance stand in the way, but by Your kind providence and Divine interposition make the way plain. We thank You that You ordain the means as well as the end, and we ask You to bless the means to his good.

And for Your servant who suffers pain, we ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon her. You heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds, and You have shown that when You come and dwell with Your people they have no need to say, I am sick. Speak the word, Lord, and let healing come from Your pardoning hand. If it be Your will, grant relief this day, that pain may be lightened or removed, and strength renewed. Sustain her spirit even as You touch her body, and let her prove that Divine Grace can sustain in suffering and can deliver from it. We ask not as those who demand, but as those who trust Your sovereign goodness, that You will do what is best and most for Your glory.

Establish a contact of faith between this soul and Christ, for there is healing in Him, in His very touch. May she look to Jesus and find that the least thing about Christ is healing, and that His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Grant pardon, healing, and peace through our Lord Jesus, and let both mother and son know that abundant streams of healing flow down from that great conduit Head to men below.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and our Healer. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your request with us and for asking in the name of Jesus. We are joining you in prayer for both of these needs.

We pray for your son that his medication will be filled on time and without any difficulty or delay. God is our provider and He cares for our daily needs, and we ask Him to make the way clear at the pharmacy and for those who are responsible for preparing and providing it.

We also pray for you in your pain today. Scripture shows us that God sees our bodily suffering and is compassionate toward us as a physician who desires to heal and restore. It is right and good to care for the body for health, and to use the help He provides through medicine and treatment, while we look to Him as the ultimate source of healing. We ask the Lord to grant you relief today, to lessen your pain, to give you rest and strength, and to bring healing according to His mercy and will.

We pray that through this time you and your son will know the comfort and presence of Christ, who alone is our Savior and our hope, and who invites us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us.

Father, we bring these needs before You in the name of Jesus. Please provide for this son and let his prescription be ready without hindrance. Please touch his mother with Your healing hand, ease her pain, and grant her peace and renewed strength today. Let Your will be done and let Your grace be felt in their home. Amen.
