We join you in bringing this meeting before the throne of grace and we thank you for inviting the Lord Jesus to take complete control. It is right and good to acknowledge that without Him we can do nothing and that when we commit our plans to Him, He directs our steps.

We stand in agreement with you that every voice not of God would be silenced and that only His truth and wisdom would prevail. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27. We pray that each person in that room will have ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying and the humility to obey. We also agree with you in praying against cowardice, fear, and ego. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. Fear and cowardice do not come from the Lord, and ego and pride seek to exalt self rather than Christ. We are reminded, Don’t do anything from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Philippians 2:3. And again, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. Proverbs 16:3.

We take comfort that the battle belongs to the Lord and He will fight for you. Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still. Exodus 14:14. When we are still before Him and surrender control, He is able to do far more than we could accomplish in our own strength.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we give You this meeting. We ask You to take complete control of every word spoken, every decision made, and every heart present. We ask You to silence any voice that is not of You, whether it be confusion, deception, manipulation, or distraction. Let Your voice alone be heard and followed. We ask You to fight for us where we cannot fight for ourselves and to let Your will be done. We rebuke the spirits of cowardice and fear and we ask You to replace them with boldness, power, love, and a sound mind. We ask You to crucify ego and pride in each one there and clothe everyone with humility, grace, and love for one another. Grant wisdom liberally to all who ask, for You give generously and without reproach. James 1:5. Let no one leave that room without having heard from You. We trust You for the outcome and we give You all the glory. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to enter that meeting with peace, knowing that He goes before you. Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10. Whether the answer comes as a gentle whisper or a clear direction, trust that He is speaking and that He is faithful to lead those who seek Him with a sincere heart.

We have been praying with you over this meeting. We hear your desire for Jesus to be the one truly leading it, and for anything driven by fear, pride or cowardice to have no place there. Thank you for inviting us to stand with you in that prayer.

It is a good and honest thing to ask Him to fight for you. That does not mean every person will see everything the same way, but it does mean He is present and able to work even through imperfect conversations. When we ask Him to silence what is not of Him, we are also asking Him to give us ears to listen well and courage to speak honestly.

If you are able, take a few quiet minutes before it begins to place each person in the room and each decision into His hands. Ask Him to help you listen clearly and speak with both courage and grace, and to steady your heart by releasing the outcome to Him beforehand. That simple surrender can help you stay calm and clear while the meeting is unfolding.

Father, we ask You to be Lord over this gathering. Quiet what is not of You, soften what is hard, and give each person there humility and courage to hear and speak honestly. Guide what is said and done for Your glory and for the good of all involved. We trust this time to You and thank You that You are near. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for the meeting is heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have asked well, that the Lord Jesus himself would take complete control, for where He presides there is wisdom and peace. We pray that He will indeed fight for you, as He has promised to His people, and that every voice not of Him shall be silenced, and His own voice shall be heard by each heart present. May His Word give direction, and His Spirit infuse those principles of humility and faith which guide us aright, and may there be a holy acquiescence to the Divine will rather than the striving of self.

You have asked that cowardice, fear and ego may not reign, and this is a prayer after the mind of God. Fear is a natural disease with us, but the Lord says, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yea, I will help you, yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Fear weakens and fear dishonors God, for it questions His presence and His power. The fear of man brings a snare, but the fear of the Lord is holy reverence and love. When Immanuel has come, God with us, slavish fear is removed. Therefore we pray that you and all gathered may labor to put away fear by confident belief and quiet waiting upon Him, standing still to see the salvation of God.

And as for ego, we pray that the carnal mind which is enmity against God may be subdued, and that self may give place to Christ, that your manhood and womanhood may be as a palace for the Well Beloved, and that humility and contentment may rule in every heart. Where Christ reigns, pride cannot reign.

We entreat the Lord to speak to each one in that room, to put His finger upon the sore place in each conscience, and to teach His statutes. May He give balance of mind, clarity of thought, and courage to do that which is right, not fearing the powers of earth nor the want of outward good, but trusting Him who will provide and who will restrain all rage and vain effort.

Prayer is real because God is real, and He hears the cry of His children. We have asked Him and we trust Him to do according to His abundant grace. May the Lord grant you to walk in fellowship with Him in that hour, and to know that He is with you to be your succor and your treasury.

We commend this meeting into His hands, asking that His will be done and His name glorified. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer for this meeting has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus. It is good and right to ask Him to take complete control, for unless He builds and guards, our own plans come to nothing.

I pray with you that He will silence every voice that is not of Him and that He Himself will speak to each heart present. May He fight for you, as He has promised to fight for His people, and may His wisdom and peace rule over every word and decision.

You asked especially that cowardice, fear and ego would not reign, and this is a faithful request. Scripture teaches us not to throw ourselves needlessly into danger, which is rashness, nor when we are called to stand for what is right to give in, which is cowardice. Instead we are to put on the whole armor of God so that we may be able to stand in the evil day. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Fear makes us shrink back and hide, while faith makes us stand with courage and speak the truth in love.

Ego also is a hindrance, for it seeks to please men and to exalt self. We are called to do the will of God from the heart, with good will, as serving the Lord and not men. When we serve Christ in singleness of heart, vainglory and self seeking lose their power.

So let us pray that in this meeting each person will act not as a man pleaser but as a servant of Christ, speaking honestly, listening humbly, and seeking not their own glory but the glory of God and the good of all. May the Lord grant you boldness without pride, humility without timidity, and unity that comes from His Spirit.

May the Lord be present in that room, guide every word, restrain what should be restrained, and establish what is according to His will. May He give you calm confidence that He is in control and that He will accomplish His purposes.
