We join with you in bringing your friend before the throne of grace as he meets with his boss today and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach our Father.
We are encouraged by your faithful intercession for your friend and we stand with you asking God to grant him wisdom, favor, and peace in this meeting. We remember that promotion and favor ultimately come from the Lord and that He directs the hearts of those in authority. We pray that your friend would commit this meeting to the Lord and trust Him with the outcome.
Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift up our friend to You in Jesus name. You know his needs, his work, his heart, and the purpose of this meeting with his boss. We ask that You give him clarity of mind and calmness of spirit, that he may speak with wisdom, honesty, and grace. Let Your favor rest upon him and let Your will be done in this situation. We pray for his boss as well, that he would act with fairness, understanding, and integrity. Guide the conversation, guard our friend from anxiety, and let him feel Your presence with him. We trust this meeting into Your hands, believing that You work all things for good for those who love You. Help our friend to continue to work as unto You and to trust You with the results. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We have heard your prayer for your friend as he meets with his boss today and we gladly join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. How sweet it is to bring our friends to that Friend who sticketh closer than a brother and who loves at all times. He loved us before there was any time and He loves us still, and there is no hour, whether of duty or of difficulty, when His help is not near.
We pray that the Lord will keep your friend in perfect peace as his mind is stayed upon Him, because he trusts in Him. There is a peace which passes all understanding which keeps our heart and mind through Christ Jesus, and it may be enjoyed even when duties press and throng. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. May the blood of Jesus whisper peace within him today, and may he know that in Jesus keeping we are safe.
We ask our gracious Father to give him wisdom to speak with grace and truth, humility and diligence, and to do his work as unto the Lord. We ask that he may have a calm spirit and clear words, and that favour and faithfulness may meet in that room. Whether the outcome be as he hopes or otherwise, may he be kept from fear and may he trust the wise ordering of Him who is the poor mans Friend and the sinners Friend, who never forsakes those who trust Him.

It is a beautiful and faithful thing that you bring your friend before the Lord again in prayer, for this is the mark of genuine friendship. A true friend prays for his friend as he prays for himself, and even asks others to pray for him first, because the soul of a friend is dearer than light itself. Your intercession shows that love.
We join you in lifting your friend up to Christ today as he meets with his boss.
We pray that God, who is our true help, would be favorable to him. When God is for us, we need not fear what any person may do, and even if all were against us there would be no harm. May the Lord grant your friend calmness of mind, clarity of speech, and wisdom to answer well. May he be diligent and do his part with honesty and courage, for those whom Christ loves He also calls to show themselves faithful through their own effort, not by His help alone.
