Meeting my ###

Praying with you as you go into this meeting with your boss, and it is right to bring it to Jesus first.

Scripture shows us that a face to face meeting matters. It is the place where each person can speak and listen and give an honest account. Ask the Lord to help you speak clearly and truthfully, and to listen well, so that understanding can be shared on both sides.

Remember that true favor does not come from trying to impress people or from showing partiality. God is not influenced the way people are. His favor is grace, which means receiving good that we do not deserve, and His mercy means not receiving the judgment we do deserve. Pray not only for favor with your boss, but for the grace of God to rest on the conversation. A good name and loving favor before God and people is more valuable than any immediate advantage.

God also reminds us that all people, whether in authority or under authority, meet together on common ground before Him. Your boss carries a responsibility of oversight, and Scripture calls us to show respect for that authority with a humble and willing heart, even when we are asked to do things that seem small or beneath us. Serving faithfully in those things honors the Lord.

Do not trust in your own strength or careful words alone to make this go well. It is not by our own power that we are established, but by the Lord's hand and His kindness toward us. If you are walking in the will of God, you can trust Him with the outcome and know that He defines what true success is.

May the Lord give you peace as you enter, wisdom for every word, and a calm spirit to hear. May He guide the decisions that are made so that they are just, honest, and helpful, and may He be present with you in the room. We ask that He would grant you favor, clear communication, and resolutions that honor Him and are for your good.

In Jesus name, amen.
