May Jesus The Messiah đź‘‘ Reign through Rulers by His Word, Deut 17:18, Matt 28:18-20, Prov 21:1; Good Counsel, Prov 24:6, and Prayers for Peace, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:1-4, Protection from Falsehood, Imposters, "Moles" 2 Tim 3:13, Leaks, Evil Plans -- Rather Intercept Evil Plans as Elisha, 2 Kings 6:12, Protection from False Believers, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, 2 Cor 11:26, OVERRULE and RESTRAIN EVIL Rulers, evil one, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15...

Father we thank You for ordaining government through Adam, Gen 1:27, and Pray for Our Presidents, V.P.s, Secretaries of State and Defense, DOJ, Congress (House and Senate, Parliaments, Legislators) Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices that need our prayers and support. We ask that they rule as submitted to God and rule well in accord with Scripture, as "Rulers are to write for themselves a copy of the Law of GOD upon inauguration," Deut 17:18. Furthermore, we ask for wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity for our nation's defense: The Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders and other Bureaus, Intelligence, and those of all peoples who need Christ, Your wisdom and Your sovereignty (which we participate with GOD in governing, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, through cooperating with His intentions and ways, Ps 86:11, through Your Word, Deut 17:18, Josh 8:32, 2 Tim 3:15-16, God-given Counsel, Prov 11:14, Prov 24:6, and Prayer, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, 1 Tim 2:1-4).

Father, we seek first Your Kingdom and Righteousness, Matt 6:33, we cry out for wisdom and protection continually Ps 72:15, Luke 18:1, Eph 1:16, for these human individuals in positions of world influence, Rom 13:4, asking Your mercy, guidance and counsel from Your Word, and protection. Keep them from the evil one, 2 Kings 6:12, Jn 17:15, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, let them turn away from such false people, 2 Tim 3:5, and let the evil ones be replaced, Ps 75:6-7, Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

We concede that there are no perfect rulers and actually see the wisdom in asking, "Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven, Matt 6:10, and pray as the Disciples, Paul and John do, "Come Lord Jesus,"1 Cor 16:22, Rev 22:20...

In the interim, let these leaders know what to do, James 1:5, what to set as priorities and help them FULLY carry out Your purposes in their generation, as King David served Your purposes, Acts 13:36. Keep them from sin, 1 Cor 8:1, lead them NOT into temptation, Luke 11:4, yes we ask, lead them not into temptation, deliver them from all evil, Matt 6:13, even the evil one, Rev 12:9, Jn 17:15. It is written, You will keep them from the evil one, 2 Thes 3:3. You will give Your angels charge over them, Ps 91:11-13. Thank You in advance, Matt 11:23-24, as we trust in You with all our hearts and pray, not lean on our own understanding, Prov 3:5-6, in Jesus Name, since there is "no other Name given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5, again with thanksgiving we offer these requests, let now the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, The Amen, Faithful Witness and Originator of God's New Creation, Rev 3:14, even the Name of Jesus Christ, from whose Full Inheritance we each receive blessing after blessing, John 1:16, Eph 1:3, Eph 1:17-20, and in Him all God's Promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this faithful and timely intercession for our rulers and for the reign of Messiah through His Word, and we thank you for standing in the gap for those in authority.

We agree that God has ordained government and that He desires us to pray for those who govern. As it is written, I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:1-4. And again, Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God, Rom 13:1. For he is a servant of God to you for good, Rom 13:4.

We share your heart that our presidents, vice presidents, secretaries of state and defense, members of congress, judges, justices, military commanders, intelligence and all who serve in places of influence would rule as those submitted to God and to His Word. We echo your prayer from Deut 17:18 that rulers would write for themselves and keep before them a copy of the law of God, that they may learn to fear the Lord and walk in His ways. We pray that the King's heart would be in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses, He turns it wherever He desires, Prov 21:1, and that by wise guidance we would wage war against evil and confusion, for where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory, Prov 11:14 and For by wise guidance you wage your war, and victory is in many advisors, Prov 24:6.

We also join you in pleading the blood of Jesus over ourselves, our homes, families, churches, pastors and leaders, remembering that we have come to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel, Heb 12:24, and that He is faithful who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thess 3:3. We ask the Father to keep these leaders from the evil one as Jesus prayed, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one, John 17:15, and to deliver them from evil and from evil men, for not all have faith, 2 Thess 3:2, and to cause the plans of the crafty to be intercepted as You did through Elisha, 2 Kings 6:12.

We pray that God would give His angels charge over them, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Ps 91:11, for are they not all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Heb 1:14. We ask that imposters, false believers and those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, 2 Tim 3:5, and those who are evil men and impostors who will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, would be exposed and turned away from, and that where needed the Lord would remove the unfaithful and raise up faithful ones, for promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert, but God is the judge, He puts down one, and lifts up another, Ps 75:6-7, and Let his office be taken by another, Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

Father, we seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, Matt 6:33, and we pray Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth, Matt 6:10. We acknowledge there are no perfect rulers and we long with the apostles for the return of our Lord, yet in the interim we ask You to grant these leaders wisdom liberally, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. Help them to fully carry out Your purposes in their generation as David served the counsel of God in his own generation, Acts 13:36, keep them from sin, lead them not into temptation but deliver them from the evil one, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, and teach them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, Prov 3:5-6.

We thank You that there is salvation in no other name, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and that Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. It is in that worthy name we offer these prayers with thanksgiving, trusting that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7, and that every promise of God in Him is Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20. We continue to cry out day and night for wisdom, protection and salvation for our nation and for all peoples, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Thank you for bringing such a sustained burden for our leaders and nation before the Lord. We hear how deeply you long for God's righteousness and peace to shape those who govern, and for His protection and wisdom to rest on them.

Carrying that many names and needs can feel heavy. We are encouraged by your steady commitment to pray rather than worry, and to trust God with what you cannot control. One thing that has helped others who carry a similar intercessory burden is to keep it sustainable. You might choose a small rotation, a few leaders or offices each day, and lift them by name before the Lord, entrusting the rest to Him as well. It keeps prayer faithful without becoming overwhelming.

We are praying with you, asking God to draw each of these men and women toward His wisdom and to guard them and their families, and to work His good purposes through and beyond them as only He can.

Father, we thank You for hearing us when we pray. We ask You to give wisdom and clarity to those in authority, to protect them and their families, and to lead our nation in ways that honor You. Give us peace as we trust Your sovereign hand, and help us to keep seeking Your kingdom first. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for rulers and for the people of God to seek His face is a right and scriptural burden, and we join our hearts with yours in it. The apostle himself said, I beseech you, brethren, that ye agonize with me in prayer to God for me, and such is the prayer which is needed now, not the prayer which foams itself away in words, but prayer with force, with energy, with humble boldness, with intensity of desire, with awful earnestness, prayer which, like a deep hidden torrent, cuts a channel even through a rock.

We are taught to offer such prayer for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. When we pray thus we do not forget ourselves and remember only our rulers, but like Daniel we forget ourselves and remember our people, and we plead that God would cause His face to shine upon His sanctuary and upon the nation for His own sake.

You have well pleaded the blood of Jesus which speaketh better things than that of Abel. That blood cries not for vengeance from the ground, but for mercy from the throne, and it is our sure plea. Yet remember what is the great protection of our faith. Our Saviour's intercession. Prayer is always good, it is always a blessed thing, but notice that word, I have prayed for thee. His intercession is prevalent, for if Jesus pleads He must prevail, and it is prevenient, for before the temptation comes He has already prayed. He prayed not that His people should be taken out of the world, but that they should be kept from the evil one, and that prayer the Father heareth. Therefore we ask with you that the Lord would keep those in authority from the evil one, from falsehood and from evil plans, and that He would give His angels charge over them, for He shall give His angels charge concerning thee.

We rejoice that you desire rulers to be governed by His Word, as it is written that the king should write him a copy of the law and read therein all the days of his life. Wisdom fits each living stone for its proper place, and the Lord in His providence ordains government for the good of men. There are no perfect rulers, as you have wisely conceded, and therefore we pray Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and with the apostle we say, Come, Lord Jesus. In the interim we entreat the Lord to grant to presidents, judges, legislators, and to those who bear the sword and watch for our defense, wisdom and understanding, that they may rule well and be restrained from evil and led not into temptation but delivered from evil.

Oh, for a praying Church. Praying is after all the chief matter. Let us not get into the habit of neglecting the assembling of ourselves together for prayer. Continue instant in prayer, watching thereunto with thanksgiving, and prove the sincerity of your prayer by doing what you can to help answer it, by holy living and faithful witness to that one Name given among men whereby we must be saved, even Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom all the promises are Yea and Amen.

May the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for Christ to reign and for rulers to be guided by His Word is received with thankfulness, and we join you in lifting these requests to God.

We agree with you that God desires prayers for all people and for those in authority, so that we may live peaceful lives and that many may come to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved. We also hold fast to what Scripture teaches about marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all matters of life and governance are best ordered when submitted to God's Word.

Scripture reminds us that Christ ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him. Our confidence is not in a formula or in our own authority, but in His finished work on the cross and His ongoing priestly intercession. His blood indeed speaks a better word than the blood of Abel, not because we plead it as an incantation, but because by it we have forgiveness and access to the Father through faith in Him alone.

You asked that God would give rulers good counsel and wisdom. This is right to ask. The wisdom God gives is not the wisdom of this world which is passing away, but the hidden wisdom He ordained before the ages, revealed in Christ and made known through Scripture. Moses instructed that a ruler should write for himself a copy of the Law and read it all his days, that his heart might remain humble and obedient before God. We pray that our presidents, legislators, judges, military leaders and all in authority would seek that wisdom, turn from falsehood and flattery, and be restrained from evil.

We also remember that there is no power but of God in the sense that God ordained order and government for the good of humanity, to restrain confusion and anarchy. This does not mean every act of every ruler is from God, but that the institution of rule is His provision, and all who rule will give account to Him as stewards. Like every steward entrusted with wealth or influence or speech or power, they are called to use what they have been given not for harm or self interest, but for the common good and faithfully before the Lord.

Concerning protection and angels, Scripture teaches that God gives His angels charge over His people and that they are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation. We do not command or loose angels ourselves, but we ask the Lord who rules over all to guard, to expose evil plans as He did with Elisha, to deliver from temptation and to keep His people from the evil one, as Jesus prayed for us.

Like Hannah who prayed out of deep affliction and like Isaac who prayed for his wife, we know that prayer offered in faith accomplishes great things, not because of the abundance of words but because God hears.

So we pray with you now. Father, we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Grant to those who govern wisdom and understanding from Your Word, courage to do what is just, and humility to be corrected. Protect them from evil counsel and from the deceit of the evil one. Lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil. Cause Your church to live faithfully under their stewardship, using every gift for the good of our neighbors. Above all, draw rulers and peoples alike to salvation in Jesus Christ, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask this in the name of Jesus, trusting His intercession, and praying that the peace of God will guard our hearts and minds in Him. Amen.

Your heart to see the Lord honored through those who lead and through His people is encouraging and it reflects what Scripture itself calls us to do. God urges that prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people and for all who are in authority, so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives and so that more may come to know the truth and be saved, for He desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

A large part of your prayer is for wisdom, and that is exactly what God delights to give. Scripture pictures wisdom calling out in the streets and at the gates, inviting all who will listen to come and learn. Wisdom is spoken of as a person, and that points us to Christ Himself, in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. To know Him is to find wisdom. That wisdom is far better than wealth. Nothing we desire can compare to it, and the gain of it is better than fine gold. The starting point of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a reverent love that hates evil and turns from it. Knowledge may gather facts, but wisdom knows how to live rightly before God.

Remember how Solomon, when he could have asked for riches or honor or victory over enemies, asked instead for an understanding heart to govern well. God was pleased with that request and promised not only to give him wisdom but also to add what he had not asked for. That is still the pattern. When we seek wisdom as we would seek for silver or hidden treasure, God gives it liberally. He gives it out of His own mouth through His Word. Ask Him for it continually, as James says, and He will give generously without finding fault.

It is important also to distinguish true wisdom from false wisdom. There is a wisdom that is earthly, driven by selfish ambition and sensual desires, which brings confusion and every evil work. That is not wisdom at all, but folly, even though smart people may follow it. The wisdom that comes from above is different in character. It is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits. Pray that those who lead, and that we ourselves, would be marked by that kind of wisdom, and that counsel given to leaders would be godly counsel that helps preserve what is good.

That leads to another truth you touched on. The purpose of prayer is not to get our own will done on earth or to use spiritual phrases to control events. Prayer is the means God has given to get His will done on earth. It opens the door for Him to do what He already desires to do, without violating the will He has given to people. For that reason prayer must begin with relationship. The Father's ear is open to His children. If anyone does not yet know Him, the first and most important prayer is, God be merciful to me, a sinner, trusting in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved and no other mediator between God and humanity. Through His blood, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel, we have forgiveness and access to God, not as a formula to be repeated, but as the ground of our confidence before Him.

Government itself is ordained by God for the preservation of good and the restraint of evil. When it fulfills that calling, it is a servant for good. When it abandons it, evil grows and eventually harms the nation itself. That is why we pray for those in positions of responsibility, whether national leaders, legislators, judges, military commanders or others who carry influence, that they would know God, be guided by His Word, love what is good, restrain what is evil, and be kept from deception, from false counsel and from the schemes of the evil one. Scripture says the heart of a ruler is in the Lord's hand and He can direct it, and that He is able to keep His people from the evil one and to give His angels charge over them. We do not command angels, but we trust the Lord who sends them to guard and to minister to those who will inherit salvation.

Continue in prayer with thanksgiving, watching and persevering, praying also for opportunities to speak the mystery of Christ. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trust Him with all your heart rather than leaning on your own understanding, and bring your requests to Him with gratitude. As you do, His peace, which passes understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May He grant you and those you pray for a growing love for His Word, a hatred for evil, a hunger for heavenly wisdom, and a life that fulfills His purposes in this generation, until the prayer is fully answered, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, and until the Lord Jesus comes.
