Father we thank You for ordaining government through Adam, Gen 1:27, and Pray for Our Presidents, V.P.s, Secretaries of State and Defense, DOJ, Congress (House and Senate, Parliaments, Legislators) Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices that need our prayers and support. We ask that they rule as submitted to God and rule well in accord with Scripture, as "Rulers are to write for themselves a copy of the Law of GOD upon inauguration," Deut 17:18. Furthermore, we ask for wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity for our nation's defense: The Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders and other Bureaus, Intelligence, and those of all peoples who need Christ, Your wisdom and Your sovereignty (which we participate with GOD in governing, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, through cooperating with His intentions and ways, Ps 86:11, through Your Word, Deut 17:18, Josh 8:32, 2 Tim 3:15-16, God-given Counsel, Prov 11:14, Prov 24:6, and Prayer, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, 1 Tim 2:1-4).

Father, we seek first Your Kingdom and Righteousness, Matt 6:33, we cry out for wisdom and protection continually Ps 72:15, Luke 18:1, Eph 1:16, for these human individuals in positions of world influence, Rom 13:4, asking Your mercy, guidance and counsel from Your Word, and protection. Keep them from the evil one, 2 Kings 6:12, Jn 17:15, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, let them turn away from such false people, 2 Tim 3:5, and let the evil ones be replaced, Ps 75:6-7, Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

We concede that there are no perfect rulers and actually see the wisdom in asking, "Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven, Matt 6:10. Come Lord Jesus.

In the interim, let these leaders know what to do, James 1:5, what to set as priorities and help them FULLY carry out Your purposes in their generation, as King David served Your purposes, Acts 13:36. Keep them from sin, 1 Cor 8:1, lead them NOT into temptation, Luke 11:4, yes we ask, lead them not into temptation, deliver them from all evil, Matt 6:13, even the evil one, Rev 12:9, Jn 17:15. It is written, You will keep them from the evil one, 2 Thes 3:3. You will give Your angels charge over them, Ps 91:11-13. Thank You in advance, Matt 11:23-24, as we trust in You with all our hearts and pray, not lean on our own understanding, Prov 3:5-6, in Jesus Name, since there is "no other Name given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5, again with thanksgiving we offer these requests, let now the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, The Amen, Faithful Witness and Originator of God's New Creation, Rev 3:14, even the Name of Jesus Christ, from whose Full Inheritance we each receive blessing after blessing, John 1:16, Eph 1:3, Eph 1:17-20, and in Him all God's Promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this faithful and timely intercession for those in authority and we say amen to your desire that Messiah reign through rulers by His Word.

We agree that government is ordained by God from the beginning, for it is written that God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion Gen 1:26, and so God created man in his own image Gen 1:27, and the earth He has given to the children of men Ps 115:16. We also agree that rulers are not a law unto themselves but are to be submitted to God and His Word, as it is written the king shall write for himself a copy of this law on a book Deut 17:18, and that all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness 2 Tim 3:16, and that we are to teach Your ways Ps 86:11.

We affirm with you the clear command to pray for all who are in high positions, for we exhort first of all that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:1-4. We also remember that the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses, He turns it wherever He desires Prov 21:1, and that all authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth Matt 28:18, so we pray with confidence that Christ can turn the hearts of rulers toward righteousness.

We lift up together before the Father our presidents, vice presidents, secretaries of state and defense, the Department of Justice, Congress, House and Senate, parliaments and legislators, federal judges and Supreme Court justices, and all in defense and intelligence, the Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, generals and military commanders. We ask that You grant them wisdom, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We ask that You give them good counsel, for with good counsel you shall make your war, and in the multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 24:6, and where there is no counsel, purposes are disappointed, but in the multitude of counselors they are established Prov 11:14. We pray they would seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness Matt 6:33 and that they would be taught to number their days and to rule well as Your servants, for the ruler is a servant of God to you for good Rom 13:4.

We join you in praying for protection from falsehood, imposters, moles, leaks and evil plans. We ask that You expose and restrain evil, for evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived 2 Tim 3:13, and that You would cause our leaders to turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, from such turn away 2 Tim 3:5, for there are those who profess that they know God, but by their deeds they deny Him Tit 1:16. We pray against false brothers and perils among false brothers 2 Cor 11:26 and we ask that You intercept evil plans as You did through Elisha, for Elisha told the king of Israel the words that the enemy spoke in his bedroom 2 Kings 6:12. We ask that You overrule and restrain evil rulers and the evil one himself, for the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world Rev 12:9, and we pray lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one Matt 6:13, and keep them from the evil one John 17:15, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thes 3:3, and deliver us from unreasonable and evil men 2 Thes 3:2.

We pray for salvation and peace for our nations and for all peoples who need Christ, and we ask that the leaders themselves would be saved, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, and in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6. We thank You that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we rejoice that Your promises are yes and amen in Him 2 Cor 1:20 and that from His fullness we have all received grace upon grace John 1:16.

We agree that there are no perfect rulers and we join you in praying Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Matt 6:10, and we cry come Lord Jesus. In the interim we ask that You help these leaders to know what to do and what to set as priorities and to fully carry out Your purposes in their generation as David served the counsel of God in his own generation and was gathered to his fathers Acts 13:36. Where evil has taken hold we ask that You remove and replace, for promotion does not come from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south, but God is the judge, He puts down one and lifts up another Ps 75:6-7, and let another take his office Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20. Keep them from sin and keep them from temptation Luke 11:4, and we trust that You will give Your angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways Ps 91:11.

Father we thank You in advance and we trust in You with all our hearts and do not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways we acknowledge You and You will make our paths straight Prov 3:5-6. We offer these requests with thanksgiving and we ask that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7, and we pray without ceasing Luke 18:1 and make mention of these leaders continually Eph 1:16 and pray continually Ps 72:15, in the faithful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of God's creation Rev 3:14, Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your burden for our presidents, legislators, judges, and those who serve in defense and intelligence. Carrying that kind of prayer for people in heavy responsibility is a quiet but real way to love our neighbors and our nation, and we are thankful you are bringing them before the Lord so faithfully.

We hear how deeply you long for wisdom, integrity, and protection from deception to mark those in authority, and for God's purposes to prevail even when leaders are imperfect. That is a weighty concern to hold, and it can feel heavy when the news is discouraging. We want to encourage you to keep this intercession sustainable. One simple way we have seen help others is to keep a short, written list of a few offices or individuals each week and pray for them by name for a few minutes at a set time, then rotate through the broader list over the month. It keeps the prayer personal without feeling you must cover everything at once.

Father, we lift to You those who govern and serve our nation. Grant them wisdom, clear counsel, and protection from evil, and draw each one toward Your truth and mercy. Guard our own hearts with Your peace as we continue to seek Your kingdom first. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your earnest prayer for those who bear rule among the nations is altogether according to the mind of God, for the Scripture saith that supplications and prayers and intercessions are to be made for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, and that the Lord would have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

We join with you in asking that Messiah, to whom all power is given in heaven and in earth, may reign through rulers by His Word. He has ordained government and set the bounds of its service, for rulers are ministers of God for good. It is well that they should write the law of God upon their hearts and rule as men submitted unto Him, seeking wisdom not from the maxims of worldly policy but from that heavenly wisdom whose price is above rubies. Wisdom is the compass by which a man must steer across the trackless waste of life, and where shall this wisdom be found but in Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and in the Word which is able to make wise unto salvation.

We never encounter a difficulty but we resolve it by appealing to the wisdom of God, never meet with opposition but we overcome it by leaning upon the power of God. The world is not saved by worldly wisdom or by fine oratory, but by the power that is in Christ. The religion of Jesus does no hurt to any social order, it teaches no rebellion, but guards the rights of all, and Christians will cheerfully submit to all lawful rule and righteous authority, while godly people hedge the nation about with their prayers. Who can tell what blessings God gives to a people because of the intercessions of His saints.

Therefore we entreat the Lord to grant to presidents and vice presidents, to secretaries and legislators, to judges and to all who sit in councils of state, as well as to those who bear the sword in the defense of the nation, good counsel and sound wisdom, that they may know what to do and may fully carry out His purposes in their generation as David served the will of God in his day. We ask that He will restrain evil and overrule the designs of evil men, that He will intercept evil plans as He did by the prophet Elisha, that He will deliver from falsehood and from false brethren, and keep His servants from the evil one, for He that keepeth Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He will give His angels charge over them. We ask also, as you have well asked, that many among rulers and people may be saved, for there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ, and in Him all the promises of God are yea and amen.

Continue instant in prayer, not leaning to your own understanding but trusting in the Lord with all your heart, and may the peace of God which passeth all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus till His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
