Father we thank You for ordaining government through Adam, Gen 1:27, and Pray for Our Presidents, V.P.s, Secretaries of State and Defense, DOJ, Congress (House and Senate, Parliaments, Legislators) Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices that need our prayers and support. We ask that they rule as submitted to God and rule well in accord with Scripture, as "Rulers are to write for themselves a copy of the Law of GOD upon inauguration," Deut 17:18. Furthermore, we ask for wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity for our nation's defense: The Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders and other Bureaus, Intelligence, and those of all peoples who need Christ, Your wisdom and Your sovereignty (which we participate with GOD in governing, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, through cooperating with His intentions and ways, Ps 86:11, through Your Word, Deut 17:18, Josh 8:32, 2 Tim 3:15-16, God-given Counsel, Prov 11:14, Prov 24:6, and Prayer, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, 1 Tim 2:1-4).

Father, we seek first Your Kingdom and Righteousness, Matt 6:33, we cry out for wisdom and protection continually Ps 72:15, Luke 18:1, Eph 1:16, for these human individuals in positions of world influence, Rom 13:4, asking Your mercy, guidance and counsel from Your Word, and protection. Keep them from the evil one, 2 Kings 6:12, Jn 17:15, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, let them turn away from such false people, 2 Tim 3:5, and let the evil ones be replaced, Ps 75:6-7, Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

We concede that there are no perfect rulers and actually see the wisdom in asking, "Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven, Matt 6:10. Come Lord Jesus.

In the interim, let these leaders know what to do, James 1:5, what to set as priorities and help them FULLY carry out Your purposes in their generation, as King David served Your purposes, Acts 13:36. Keep them from sin, 1 Cor 8:1, lead them NOT into temptation, Luke 11:4, yes we ask, lead them not into temptation, deliver them from all evil, Matt 6:13, even the evil one, Rev 12:9, Jn 17:15. It is written, You will keep them from the evil one, 2 Thes 3:3. You will give Your angels charge over them, Ps 91:11-13. Thank You in advance, Matt 11:23-24, as we trust in You with all our hearts and pray, not lean on our own understanding, Prov 3:5-6, in Jesus Name, since there is "no other Name given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5, again with thanksgiving we offer these requests, let now the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, The Amen, Faithful Witness and Originator of God's New Creation, Rev 3:14, even the Name of Jesus Christ, from whose Full Inheritance we each receive blessing after blessing, John 1:16, Eph 1:3, Eph 1:17-20, and in Him all God's Promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in lifting up this burden before the Lord and we thank you for leading us to pray together for those in authority as Scripture commands.

We agree that government is ordained by God and that He has given mankind a stewardship to govern under His sovereignty, for it is written that God said Let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have dominion Gen 1:26, and that He has set eternity in our hearts and committed the earth to our care Ps 115:16. We are exhorted first of all that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:3-4. We also remember that there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Rom 13:1, and that the ruler is a servant of God to you for good Rom 13:4, yet the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord as the rivers of water, He turns it wherever He desires Prov 21:1.

We share your desire that our Presidents, Vice Presidents, Secretaries of State and Defense, the Department of Justice, our Congress, House and Senate, and Parliaments and Legislators elsewhere, and Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices, would rule as those submitted to God and who walk by His Word. It is written that when the king sits on the throne of his kingdom, he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book Deut 17:18, and blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. We pray also for the Pentagon, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders, intelligence bureaus and all who bear responsibility for the defense and security of nations, that they would seek wisdom from above, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and that by wise guidance you wage war, and in multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 24:6, for where there is no counsel, plans fail but in a multitude of counselors they are established Prov 15:22.

We join you in asking for protection from falsehood, imposters, moles, leaks and evil plans, and we ask the Lord to intercept such plans as He did for Elisha when it was told to the king of Israel, that the Syrians were plotting in a certain place 2 Kings 6:12, and to keep our leaders from the evil one as Jesus prayed, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one John 17:15. We pray that they will turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power 2 Tim 3:5, who profess that they know God, but by their deeds they deny Him Tit 1:16, for evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived 2 Tim 3:13. We ask the Lord to overrule and restrain evil rulers and the evil one himself, that ancient serpent who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world Rev 12:9, and to deliver them from evil Matt 6:13, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3, and to deliver us from unreasonable and evil men 2 Thess 3:2.

Father, we come together before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, and in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We thank You for ordaining authority and we seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness Matt 6:33, praying Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven Matt 6:10. We ask You to grant wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity to all who lead, to lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil Matt 6:13, to keep them from sin and to help them fully carry out Your purposes in their generation as David served the counsel of God in his own generation Acts 13:36. Let promotion come not from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south, but God is the judge, He puts down one, and lifts up another Ps 75:6-7, and where leaders have proven unfaithful let their office be taken by another Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20. We ask that You give Your angels charge over those who walk uprightly to keep them in all their ways Ps 91:11, and that You surround them with good counsel and with Your Word which is able to make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus 2 Tim 3:15. We pray for their salvation and for peace in our lands that the gospel may go forth freely.

We are encouraged by your continual supplication, for we are told to pray without ceasing and to not faint Luke 18:1, and to trust in the Lord with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will make our paths straight Prov 3:5-6. We will continue to cry out for wisdom and protection Ps 72:15, offering these requests by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We thank You Father in advance, trusting that every promise of God is Yes and Amen in Christ 2 Cor 1:20, and that from His fullness we have all received grace upon grace John 1:16, and we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God Rev 3:14.

We appreciate you bringing this burden before the Lord so faithfully. Your desire to see God honored in our government and to see leaders seek wisdom, integrity and good counsel is a loving concern for our communities and for people who do not yet know Christ.

We join you in asking for God's mercy and guidance over presidents, vice presidents, legislators, judges, military leaders and all who carry heavy responsibility. We share your longing for His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth, and for those in authority to be kept from deception, from evil plans and from false counsel, and to be surrounded instead by trustworthy voices.

Carrying so many needs at once can feel heavy, and it helps to keep prayer sustainable. One simple step that many find helpful is to keep a short written list of two or three leaders or offices that weigh most on your heart and bring those same names before the Lord at a set time each day or week. Praying consistently with a friend or small group can also encourage you and keep you from carrying the burden alone.

Father, we lift these leaders to You and ask for Your wisdom to guide them, Your hand to restrain evil and Your protection over them and over our nation. Draw each one toward Your truth and toward salvation through Jesus Christ, and guard our hearts with Your peace as we trust Your sovereign rule. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest pleading for rulers and for the nation has been heard with thankfulness, and we do join you in agonizing with you in prayer to God for these things. You have asked according to the Scriptures that supplications and prayers and intercessions be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, and that all may come to the knowledge of the truth which is in Christ Jesus alone, for there is one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, and there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

We take up your burden as the Apostle besought the brethren to strive together with him in prayer, not with words which foam themselves away, but with force and energy and humble boldness, with intensity of desire, like a deep hidden torrent that cuts a channel even through rock. So we will plead that the Lord would grant to presidents and vice presidents, to legislators and judges, to generals and counselors and all entrusted with the sword and with counsel, wisdom and guidance from His Word. We pray that they may write the law of God upon their hearts and be ruled by it, that they may seek good counsel and seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and that they may be kept from the evil one, for our Lord Himself prayed not that His people should be taken out of the world, but that they should be kept from the evil.

We entreat the Lord to overrule and restrain all evil plans and to bring to nothing the counsel of the wicked, to expose falsehood and to keep these men from temptation and deliver them from evil, and we ask that where there are evil rulers they may be removed and others raised up in their stead, for promotion comes neither from the east nor from the west, but God puts down one and sets up another. Yet we confess with you that there are no perfect rulers, and therefore we pray with greater earnestness, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, looking for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We rest not upon our own understanding but upon the intercession of Christ who has prayed for His people, and His prayer is prevalent and prevenient, for He pleads before temptation comes. In that confidence we continue steadfastly in prayer, remembering that praying is after all the chief matter, and that the value of our prayer is proved by our seeking to live under the Word we pray others to obey. Now the God of Peace be with you all. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
