Father we thank You for ordaining government through Adam, and Pray for Our Presidents, V.P.s, Secretaries of State and Defense, DOJ, Congress (House and Senate, Parliaments, Legislators) Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices that need our prayers and support. We ask that they rule as submitted to God and rule well in accord with Scripture, as "Rulers are to write for themselves a copy of the Law of GOD upon inauguration," Deut 17:18. Furthermore, we ask for wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity for our nation's defense: The Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders and other Bureaus, Intelligence, and those of all peoples who need Christ, Your wisdom and Your sovereignty (which we participate with GOD in governing, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, through cooperating with His intentions and ways, Ps 86:11, through Your Word, Deut 17:18, Josh 8:32, 2 Tim 3:15-16, God-given Counsel, Prov 11:14, Prov 24:6, and Prayer, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, 1 Tim 2:1-4).

Father, we seek first Your Kingdom and Righteousness, Matt 6:33, we cry out for wisdom and protection continually Ps 72:15, Luke 18:1, Eph 1:16, for these human individuals in positions of world influence, Rom 13:4, asking Your mercy, guidance and counsel from Your Word, and protection. Keep them from the evil one, 2 Kings 6:12, Jn 17:15, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, let them turn away from such false people, 2 Tim 3:5, and let the evil ones be replaced, Ps 75:6-7, Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

We concede that there are no perfect rulers and actually see the wisdom in asking, "Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven, Matt 6:10. Come Lord Jesus.

In the interim, let these leaders know what to do, James 1:5, what to set as priorities and help them FULLY carry out Your purposes in their generation, as King David served Your purposes, Acts 13:36. Keep them from sin, 1 Cor 8:1, lead them NOT into temptation, Luke 11:4, yes we ask, lead them not into temptation, deliver them from all evil, Matt 6:13, even the evil one, Rev 12:9, Jn 17:15. It is written, You will keep them from the evil one, 2 Thes 3:3. You will give Your angels charge over them, Ps 91:11-13. Thank You in advance, Matt 11:23-24, as we trust in You with all our hearts and pray, not lean on our own understanding, Prov 3:5-6, in Jesus Name, since there is "no other Name given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5, again with thanksgiving we offer these requests, let now the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, The Amen, Faithful Witness and Originator of God's New Creation, Rev 3:14, even the Name of Jesus Christ, from whose Full Inheritance we each receive blessing after blessing, John 1:16, Eph 1:3, Eph 1:17-20, and in Him all God's Promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We thank you for sharing this burden for intercession and we join with you in lifting up those in authority before the throne of grace, for this is good and right in the sight of God.

We agree that government is ordained by God and that He has given mankind stewardship and responsibility under His sovereignty. As it is written, God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion Gen 1:26, and The heavens are Yahweh's heavens, but the earth has he given to the children of men Ps 115:16. We also agree that rulers are accountable to rule by His Word, for it is written concerning the king, that he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book, out of that which is before the priests the Levites Deut 17:18, and that Through your precepts, I get understanding Ps 119:104. We take seriously the exhortation, I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:1-4.

We also heed the wisdom that For by wise guidance you wage your war, and victory is in many advisors Prov 24:6, and Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 11:14. We pray that every president, vice president, secretary of state and defense, members of the Department of Justice, members of Congress and all legislators, federal judges and Supreme Court justices, together with the Pentagon, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, generals, military commanders, intelligence bureaus and all who serve in defense of the nation, would seek wisdom from above and be surrounded by godly counsel.

We lift this prayer together before the Father in Jesus' name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You with thanksgiving for Your sovereign rule and for ordaining government for order and justice, for he is a servant of God to you for good Rom 13:4. We ask that You reign through these rulers by Your Word. Cause them to submit themselves to You, to write Your law upon their hearts, to seek Your Kingdom first Matt 6:33 and to ask for wisdom, for You give to all liberally and without reproach when we ask James 1:5. Grant them wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity, that they may know what to do and what to set as priorities and fully carry out Your purposes in their generation as David served the counsel of God in his own generation Acts 13:36.

We pray for their salvation and for peace, that they may come to the full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4. We ask for Your protection over them, that You would keep them from the evil one John 17:15, for You are faithful, who will establish and guard from the evil one 2 Thes 3:3. As You revealed the plans of the enemy to Elisha, so that not a word escaped his notice 2 Kings 6:12, we ask that You intercept every evil plan, every leak, every scheme of deceit, and expose falsehood. We pray for protection from evil men and impostors who will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived 2 Tim 3:13, and from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power 2 Tim 3:5, who profess that they know God, but by their deeds they deny him Tit 1:16. Let such be turned away from and let the evil ones be replaced, for it is written, Let his days be few. Let another take his office Ps 109:8 and Let promotion not come from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another Ps 75:6-7.

Lead them not into temptation but deliver them from evil Matt 6:13. Keep them from sin and keep Your angels charge over them, for it is written, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Ps 91:11. We trust not in our own understanding but in You, and we ask that You direct their paths Prov 3:5-6. Until Your Kingdom comes and Your will is done on earth as it is in heaven Matt 6:10, we will continue to cry out day and night Luke 18:1, praying without ceasing and giving thanks, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7.

We thank You in advance, trusting that every promise is Yes and Amen in Christ 2 Cor 1:20, and that from His fullness we have all received grace upon grace John 1:16. Let Messiah reign through rulers by His Word, and let Your Word and Your counsel prevail over all the counsels of men. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our Mediator, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, Amen.

We were moved by the weight and care in your prayer for our nation and those who lead it. Your desire to see leaders walk in wisdom and integrity and to see our country know peace and salvation reflects a shepherd's heart for people you may never meet, and we are grateful to stand with you in that.

Carrying every branch of government before the Lord at once can feel heavy. One thing that has helped others who share this burden is to keep the intercession sustainable by focusing more narrowly each time you pray, perhaps one office or group of leaders each day, trusting that God hears each faithful prayer without you needing to cover everything in one sitting. If you pray with others, even briefly sharing one of these petitions together can lighten the load and strengthen unity.

We join you in asking for wisdom and protection for those in authority and for mercy over our land.

Father, we lift to You those who serve in government, in our courts, in our defense and intelligence communities, and in every place of influence. Grant them wisdom, clear counsel, and protection from deceit and evil intent. Draw each one toward Your truth and Your saving grace in Christ, and let Your peace guard our nation. Guide us as we continue to pray and to seek Your kingdom first. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a right and needful thing to carry those who bear rule before the throne of grace, for the powers that be are ordained of God and He would have supplication, prayer and intercession made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and honesty, and that souls may be saved through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We join you in asking that the reign of the Messiah may be known through the rulers of the earth by His Word. Wisdom is man's true path, the compass by which he must steer across the trackless waste of life, and where shall this wisdom be found but in the Lord and in His Word. As it is written, the ruler was to write for himself a copy of the Law of God, that he might learn to fear the Lord and keep His statutes. We pray that Presidents and Vice Presidents, Secretaries of State and of Defense, members of Congress and of Parliaments, judges of the high courts, and all who serve in the counsels of the nation, with the Pentagon, the Joint Chiefs, generals and commanders, and those entrusted with intelligence and the keeping of the peace, may seek counsel not from the wisdom of this world but from the heavenly hills, from that Incarnate Wisdom who speaks to us out of the Scriptures. There is no wisdom like submission to what God has spoken, and blessed is the ruler and blessed is the people whose trust is not in their own understanding but in the Lord who keepeth Israel and neither slumbers nor sleeps.

We ask with you for good counsel according to Proverbs, that by wise guidance war may be averted and peace pursued, and that purposes may be established in the multitude of counsellors. We ask for protection from falsehood, from imposters and moles, from leaks and evil plans. As Elisha was given to know the secret counsel of the enemy, so we pray the Lord would intercept every evil device and keep those in authority from the evil one. We pray they may turn away from false brethren and from men who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, and that the Lord who is faithful would keep them and give His angels charge over them, delivering them from temptation and from all evil.

We confess with you that there is no perfect ruler upon earth, and therefore we pray with greater earnestness, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Until the Lord Jesus shall come, we ask that He would teach these men and women what to do, what to set as priorities, and help them to fulfill His purposes in their generation as David served the will of God in his day. Keep them from sin, lead them not into temptation, and grant them to rule as those who must give account, guarding the rights of all from the meanest to the greatest, doing no hurt to the social order but seeking justice and mercy.

We pray above all that they and all peoples under them may come to the knowledge of the truth, for there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, and there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as we offer these requests with thanksgiving in that worthy Name in which all the promises of God are Yea and Amen.
