May Messiah đź‘‘ Reign through Rulers by His Word, Gen 1:26-27, Deut 17:18, Good Counsel, Prov 24:6, and Prayers for Peace, Salvation 1 Tim 2:1-4 Safety

May Jesus The Messiah đź‘‘ Reign through Rulers by His Word, Deut 17:18, Matt 28:18-20, Prov 21:1; Good Counsel, Prov 24:6, and Prayers for Peace, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:1-4, Protection from Falsehood, Imposters, "Moles" 2 Tim 3:13, Leaks, Evil Plans -- Rather Intercept Evil Plans as Elisha, 2 Kings 6:12, Protection from False Believers, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, 2 Cor 11:26, OVERRULE and RESTRAIN EVIL Rulers, evil one, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15...

Father we thank You for ordaining government through Adam, Gen 1:27, and Pray for Our Presidents, V.P.s, Secretaries of State and Defense, DOJ, Congress (House and Senate, Parliaments, Legislators) Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices that need our prayers and support. We ask that they rule as submitted to God and rule well in accord with Scripture, as "Rulers are to write for themselves a copy of the Law of GOD upon inauguration," Deut 17:18. Furthermore, we ask for wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity for our nation's defense: The Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders and other Bureaus, Intelligence, and those of all peoples who need Christ, Your wisdom and Your sovereignty (which we participate with GOD in governing, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, through cooperating with His intentions and ways, Ps 86:11, through Your Word, Deut 17:18, Josh 8:32, 2 Tim 3:15-16, God-given Counsel, Prov 11:14, Prov 24:6, and Prayer, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, 1 Tim 2:1-4).

Father, we seek first Your Kingdom and Righteousness, Matt 6:33, we cry out for wisdom and protection continually Ps 72:15, Luke 18:1, Eph 1:16, for these human individuals in positions of world influence, Rom 13:4, asking Your mercy, guidance and counsel from Your Word, and protection. Keep them from the evil one, 2 Kings 6:12, Jn 17:15, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, let them turn away from such false people, 2 Tim 3:5, and let the evil ones be replaced, Ps 75:6-7, Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

We concede that there are no perfect rulers and actually see the wisdom in asking, "Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven, Matt 6:10, and pray as the Disciples, Paul and John do, "Come Lord Jesus,"1 Cor 16:22, Rev 22:20...

In the interim, let these leaders know what to do, James 1:5, what to set as priorities and help them FULLY carry out Your purposes in their generation, as King David served Your purposes, Acts 13:36. Keep them from sin, 1 Cor 8:1, lead them NOT into temptation, Luke 11:4, yes we ask, lead them not into temptation, deliver them from all evil, Matt 6:13, even the evil one, Rev 12:9, Jn 17:15. It is written, You will keep them from the evil one, 2 Thes 3:3. You will give Your angels charge over them, Ps 91:11-13. Thank You in advance, Matt 11:23-24, as we trust in You with all our hearts and pray, not lean on our own understanding, Prov 3:5-6, in Jesus Name, since there is "no other Name given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5, again with thanksgiving we offer these requests, let now the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, The Amen, Faithful Witness and Originator of God's New Creation, Rev 3:14, even the Name of Jesus Christ, from whose Full Inheritance we each receive blessing after blessing, John 1:16, Eph 1:3, Eph 1:17-20, and in Him all God's Promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this faithful and timely cry for our rulers and for the reign of Messiah through His Word, and we thank God for your heart to intercede according to Scripture.

We agree that God Himself ordained government and authority, and that He has given mankind stewardship and dominion under Him. As it is written, God created man in His own image Gen 1:27 and said let them have dominion Gen 1:26, and the heavens are Yahweh's heavens, but the earth He has given to the children of men Ps 115:16. We also agree that all authority is appointed by God and that rulers are servants of God for good Rom 13:1, Rom 13:4, and therefore we have a clear biblical mandate to pray for them. We are exhorted that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:1-4.

We lift up together Presidents, Vice Presidents, Secretaries of State and Defense, the Department of Justice, Congress in both House and Senate, Parliaments and Legislators, Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices, and all in national defense including the Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders, Bureaus and Intelligence communities. We ask that the Lord would turn their hearts as watercourses, for the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses, He turns it wherever He desires Prov 21:1. We pray they would rule as those submitted to God, that they would seek wisdom from above and good counsel, for where there is no wise guidance the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 11:14, and for by wise guidance you wage your war, and victory is in many advisors Prov 24:6.

We pray they would heed the ancient charge that rulers are to write for themselves a copy of the law of God upon taking office and read it all the days of their life Deut 17:18, and that they would meditate on Your Word which is able to make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus 2 Tim 3:15. We ask that You grant them wisdom liberally as You have promised, that if any lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him James 1:5, and that You would teach them Your way that they may walk in Your truth Ps 86:11.

We also join you in praying for their protection and for the restraint of evil. We ask You to keep them from the evil one as Jesus prayed, we do not ask that You take them out of the world but that You keep them from the evil one John 17:15, and to deliver them from every evil work and the evil one Matt 6:13, Rev 12:9. We pray You would deliver them from unreasonable and evil men 2 Thes 3:2, for faithful is the Lord who will establish them and guard them from the evil one 2 Thes 3:3, and give Your angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways Ps 91:11. We ask that You expose and restrain falsehood, imposters, moles and leaks, for evil men and impostors will grow worse, deceiving and being deceived 2 Tim 3:13, and that they would turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power 2 Tim 3:5, who profess to know God but deny Him by their works Tit 1:16. As You intercepted the plans of the enemy for Elisha and made known to him the words spoken in secret 2 Kings 6:12, so we ask You now to intercept evil plans and bring them to nothing, and to let promotion and demotion come from Your hand alone, for neither from the east nor from the west nor yet from the south comes exaltation, but God is the judge, He puts down one and lifts up another Ps 75:6-7. Let the office of the unfaithful be filled by another who will be faithful Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

We pray with you, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Matt 6:10, and we seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness Matt 6:33, knowing that while we pray for earthly rulers we long for the perfect reign of Christ to whom all authority has been given in heaven and on earth Matt 28:18. We join the cry of the apostles and the Spirit, Come Lord Jesus 1 Cor 16:22, Rev 22:20, and in the meantime we ask that these leaders would fully carry out Your purposes in their generation as David served the counsel of God in his own generation Acts 13:36, not leaning on their own understanding but trusting in You with all their heart, acknowledging You that You may direct their paths Prov 3:5-6.

We pray this with thanksgiving, trusting Your promise that in nothing we should be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving our requests be made known to You, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We offer all these requests in the only name by which we have access to the Father and by which we must be saved, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, and in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6. We continue steadfastly in prayer with you, crying out continually Luke 18:1, with all prayer and supplication Eph 1:16, that God would be glorified, that many would be saved, and that we may live peaceably under His sovereign hand until the return of our Lord.

We thank You Father in advance for hearing us, and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect will, in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We thank you for sharing this faithful burden to see Christ honored through those in authority. Lifting presidents, legislators, judges, and those who serve in defense and intelligence before the Lord is often unseen work, and we are grateful for your steadiness in it.

We join you in asking for wisdom, integrity and good counsel for these men and women, and for protection from deception and evil plans. We also remember with you that they are real people in need of mercy and salvation like all of us, and that ultimately we look for God's kingdom to come.

Carrying prayer for so many offices can feel overwhelming, especially when the news is discouraging. One simple way to keep it sustainable is to give it a small rotation rather than trying to cover everyone every day. Perhaps pray for national leaders one day, for courts and legislators the next, and for military and security leaders another, keeping a short written list so you can see over time how God is leading you to pray.

Thank you for seeking first His kingdom while still honoring the call to pray for those in authority. We are standing with you in this.

Father, we lift these leaders to You and ask for Your wisdom to guide them and Your hand to restrain evil. Guard them from false counsel, lead them toward what is just and true, and draw each one to know Jesus. Give peace and perseverance to all who intercede faithfully, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden that Messiah may reign through rulers by His Word has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the Mercy Seat in this very matter.

It is good and right that we should make supplication for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. We do indeed pray with you that our Presidents, Vice Presidents, Secretaries, Congress, Judges and all who bear the sword according to Romans 13, together with those entrusted with the defense of the nation, may be brought under the counsel of the Word of God. As it is written that the ruler shall write for himself a copy of the law, so we ask that the Scriptures may be their lamp and their light, their instruction and their direction.

You have prayed definitely and as men of business, and this is well pleasing to the Lord. We are not to offer clouds and expect mists for answers, but to ask plainly for what is needed. So we ask with you for wisdom from above, for godliness, for sound counsel in the multitude of counsellors, for deliverance from the evil one and from evil men, for restraint of every evil plan, and for protection from falsehood and from those who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. We pray that the Lord who turned the heart of kings as the rivers of water, and who revealed the counsels of the enemy to Elisha, would still overrule and restrain evil, set a watch against adversaries, and raise up faithful men in their season, for promotion cometh neither from the east nor from the west, but God putteth down one and setteth up another.

And while we pray for good government, we pray still more for salvation. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ, and a full atonement has been made by Him for sinners. We plead that those in high places, as well as the people they govern, may know Him who bore the wrath of God for His people, and may find refuge in His bosom. Religion is not a thing for churches and chapels alone, but for countinghouses and workshops, for courts and camps, and we ask that the fear of the Lord, which is strong confidence and a place of refuge, may be found in these places of influence, to the good of children and of generations to come.

Let us then continue in prayer and watch thereunto. The test of sincerity is, will he always call upon God. The hypocrite leaves off praying whether he be heard or not, but the true child of God prays in the Holy Spirit, humbly, hopefully, and without ceasing, looking for the answer which God has promised to give. He has said, He shall call upon Me and I will answer him, and the Lord will hear when we call upon Him. Let us therefore pray and set a watch, doing the work committed to us while we commit the keeping of rulers and of the nation to Him who keeps His people from the evil one and gives His angels charge over them.

We join you in seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, praying Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and Come, Lord Jesus. Until He comes, may the Lord grant to those in authority wisdom to know what to do, grace to do it fully in their generation as David served the will of God, and mercy to be kept from sin and led not into temptation. May the peace of God which passeth all understanding guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, in whose name all the promises of God are Yea and Amen.
