Beloved of All
May Messiah đź‘‘ Reign through Rulers by His Word, Gen 1:26-27, Deut 17:18, Good Counsel, Prov 24:6, and Prayers for Peace, Salvation, 1 Tim 2:1-4, Protection from Falsehood, Imposters, "Moles" 2 Tim 3:13, Leaks, Evil Plans -- Rather Intercept Evil Plans as Elisha, 2 Kings 6:12, Protection from False Believers, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, 2 Cor 11:26, OVERRULE and RESTRAIN EVIL Rulers, evil one, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15...

Father we thank You for ordaining government through Adam, Gen 1:27, and Pray for Our Presidents, V.P.s, Secretaries of State and Defense, DOJ, Congress (House and Senate, Parliaments, Legislators) Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices that need our prayers and support. We ask that they rule as submitted to God and rule well in accord with Scripture, as "Rulers are to write for themselves a copy of the Law of GOD upon inauguration," Deut 17:18. Furthermore, we ask for wisdom, guidance, godliness and unity for our nation's defense: The Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Generals, Military Commanders and other Bureaus, Intelligence, and those of all peoples who need Christ, Your wisdom and Your sovereignty (which we participate with GOD in governing, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, through cooperating with His intentions and ways, Ps 86:11, through Your Word, Deut 17:18, Josh 8:32, 2 Tim 3:15-16, God-given Counsel, Prov 11:14, Prov 24:6, and Prayer, Gen 1:26, Ps 115:16, 1 Tim 2:1-4).

Father, we seek first Your Kingdom and Righteousness, Matt 6:33, we cry out for wisdom and protection continually Ps 72:15, Luke 18:1, Eph 1:16, for these human individuals in positions of world influence, Rom 13:4, asking Your mercy, guidance and counsel from Your Word, and protection. Keep them from the evil one, 2 Kings 6:12, Jn 17:15, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:13, let them turn away from such false people, 2 Tim 3:5, and let the evil ones be replaced, Ps 75:6-7, Ps 109:8, Acts 1:20.

We concede that there are no perfect rulers and actually see the wisdom in asking, "Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven, Matt 6:10. Come Lord Jesus.

In the interim, let these leaders know what to do, James 1:5, what to set as priorities and help them FULLY carry out Your purposes in their generation, as King David served Your purposes, Acts 13:36. Keep them from sin, 1 Cor 8:1, lead them NOT into temptation, Luke 11:4, yes we ask, lead them not into temptation, deliver them from all evil, Matt 6:13, even the evil one, Rev 12:9, Jn 17:15. It is written, You will keep them from the evil one, 2 Thes 3:3. You will give Your angels charge over them, Ps 91:11-13. Thank You in advance, Matt 11:23-24, as we trust in You with all our hearts and pray, not lean on our own understanding, Prov 3:5-6, in Jesus Name, since there is "no other Name given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5, again with thanksgiving we offer these requests, let now the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, The Amen, Faithful Witness and Originator of God's New Creation, Rev 3:14, even the Name of Jesus Christ, from whose Full Inheritance we each receive blessing after blessing, John 1:16, Eph 1:3, Eph 1:17-20, and in Him all God's Promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this burden for our rulers and nations and we say amen to your cry that Messiah would reign through rulers by His Word.

We agree that God ordained government from the beginning when He said let us make man in our image and let them have dominion, Gen 1:26, so God created man in his own image, Gen 1:27, and the earth He has given to the children of men, Psalm 115:16. We are called to participate with Him in governing through cooperating with His intentions and ways, Psalm 86:11, through His Word, Deut 17:18, Josh 8:32, 2 Tim 3:15, and through good counsel and prayer, Prov 11:14, Prov 24:6, 1 Tim 2:1-4. For this reason we embrace the exhortation that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

We pray together for presidents, vice presidents, secretaries of state and defense, departments of justice, congresses, houses and senates, parliaments and legislators, federal judges and supreme court justices, for the Pentagon, joint chiefs of staff, generals, military commanders, bureaus and intelligence communities, and for all peoples who need Christ. We ask that You grant them wisdom and that they would rule as those submitted to You, for the ruler is a servant of God to you for good, Rom 13:4, and there is no authority except from God, Rom 13:1. We ask as You commanded that when a ruler sits upon his throne he shall write for himself a copy of Your law, Deut 17:18, that he may learn to fear Yahweh and keep all the words of this law, and that where there is no wise guidance the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory, Prov 24:6. We pray You give them godly counselors and guard them from falsehood, imposters and moles, for evil men and impostors will grow worse, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, and that they will turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, 2 Tim 3:5, who profess to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Titus 1:16.

We ask for Your protection from leaks and evil plans and that as You did for Elisha when You revealed the words that the king of Syria spoke in his bedroom, 2 Kings 6:12, You would intercept every evil plan against Your purposes and against Your people. We ask that You overrule and restrain evil rulers and the evil one himself, that ancient serpent who deceives the whole world, Rev 12:9, and that You deliver our leaders from unreasonable and evil men, 2 Thess 3:2, for You are faithful, You will establish them and guard them from the evil one, 2 Thess 3:3, and keep them from the evil one as Jesus prayed, John 17:15, and deliver them from evil, Matt 6:13. We pray that You will lead them not into temptation, Luke 11:4, keep them from sin and pride, and promote and remove according to Your sovereign hand, for lifting up comes not from the east nor west nor south, but God is the judge, He puts down one and lifts up another, Psalm 75:6-7, and let his office another take, Psalm 109:8, Acts 1:20. We pray for safety in dangers and deliverance from perils among false brothers, 2 Cor 11:26.

We confess there are no perfect rulers and we join You in praying Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Matt 6:10, and we seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, Matt 6:33. Come Lord Jesus. In the interim we ask that You give these leaders wisdom liberally, for if any lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him, James 1:5, show them what to do and what to set as priorities and help them fully carry out Your purposes in their generation as David served the counsel of God in his own generation, Acts 13:36.

We thank You that You keep Your promises to give Your angels charge over those who trust You to keep them in all their ways, Psalm 91:11, and that when we pray according to Your will and offer requests with thanksgiving, the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6. We trust not in our own understanding but in You with all our heart, Prov 3:5, and we offer all these requests in the only Name given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5, from whose fullness we all received grace upon grace, John 1:16, and in whom every promise of God is Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, that You would grant according to the riches of Your glory and the working of Your mighty power, Eph 1:17, Eph 1:19.

Father we cry out for wisdom and protection continually, Psalm 72:15, Luke 18:1, Eph 1:16, for mercy, guidance and unity for our nation and for the nations, that rulers would rule well in accord with Scripture and that many would be saved. We pray this together in the Name of Jesus Christ, our faithful witness and originator of Your new creation, Rev 3:14, amen.

We were moved by your prayer for our leaders and for God's kingdom to be evident in how they govern. Your burden for wisdom, integrity, protection from deception, and peace comes through clearly, and we are grateful you shared it with us.

We join you in asking God to guide those in positions of influence and to give them counsel that is true and good. It is a faithful and hopeful thing to keep bringing presidents, judges, legislators, military leaders and others before the Lord, entrusting them to His mercy and direction while also seeking His will above all.

One simple way to stay steady in this kind of intercession is to keep a short list of a few offices or individuals the Lord has placed on your heart and bring them before Him at a regular time each week. Praying with one or two others when you can also helps keep the burden from feeling heavy alone.

Father, we thank You for Your sovereignty and Your care for nations and for people. We ask You to grant wisdom and discernment to those who lead, guard them from evil and deception, and draw them and those they serve toward Your truth and salvation. Give us peace as we trust You and continue to seek Your kingdom first. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your prayer for those in authority has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. It is good and right that supplications, prayers and intercessions should be made for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

We commend the manner of your praying, for oh, it is grand praying when our mouth is full of God's Words, for there is no word that can prevail with Him like His own. You have laid before Him His own promises, from Genesis to Revelation, and you have done well, for to tell the Lord what He Himself has said is to have Him indeed. When the Church cannot take No for an answer, she shall not have No for an answer.

We join you in asking that Messiah may reign through rulers by His Word, that those set in high places, Presidents and Vice Presidents, legislators and judges, generals and counselors, may be given wisdom from above. Wisdom is man's true path and compass across the trackless waste of life, yet it must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts. If any lack wisdom, let him ask of God who giveth liberally. So we pray that those who rule may write the law of God upon their hearts and rule in accord with Scripture, with good counsel and with godliness, that they may know what to do and what to set as priorities and may fully carry out His purposes in their generation.

We pray also with definiteness, as Nehemiah prayed, for divine protection. The fault about much prayer is that there is not anything asked for in it, but your petitions have meant business. We ask with you that the Lord will restrain evil and overrule the designs of the evil one, that He will keep these men from temptation and deliver them from evil, that He will give His angels charge over them and keep them from the evil one, from falsehood and from false brethren, from imposters and from every evil plan. We set a watch as well as pray, for we must guard with jealous care the faith once delivered to the saints, and we pray and watch against our own adversaries also.

And we pray this in the Holy Spirit, which is to pray humbly and with earnestness, not puffed up with pride, but sensitive to His direction, praying for the matter which He lays upon the heart. These prayers for others are to be multiplied as much as prayers for ourselves, lest the mercy seat become a place for spiritual selfishness. If we no longer need to plead for salvation for ourselves because we have obtained it, let us give the full force of our prayers for the benefit of others, even for those who will not pray for themselves, that we may pray them into prayer until at last they pray for themselves.

Above all we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, confessing that there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ, and that He alone is the mediator between God and men. We pray therefore not only for good government and safety, but for the salvation of rulers and of all peoples who need Christ, that they may be turned from darkness to light.

We will continue with you in prayer, looking for the answer, for He who has promised is faithful. It is honorable to His wisdom and to every attribute of God when we ask what He has told us to ask and expect Him to answer. Let your sense of the poverty of your prayers lead you to abhor your faults, but not to abhor praying. May the peace of God guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as you wait upon Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in this prayer and give thanks with you for the mercy of God who ordains order among peoples and calls us to seek Him first. Your request reflects what Scripture teaches, that we are to make supplications and prayers and intercessions for all people, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead peaceful lives and that God who desires all people to be saved may be glorified, and that salvation is in no other name than Jesus Christ alone.

Scripture shows that the institution of authority is from God for the good of order, so that life is not carried on in confusion. This does not mean every evil deed of a ruler is from God, but that God established the office itself in His wisdom, as He established marriage and family, and He holds those who fill the office as stewards who must give an account. For this reason we pray as you have prayed, that those entrusted with great power, presidents and vice presidents, legislators and judges, generals and counselors and all who serve in government and defense, would be faithful and wise, not wasting what is entrusted to them and not using it to harm their fellow servants, but dispensing it for the common good according to the Word of God. True wisdom is not the wisdom of this world which comes to nothing, but the hidden wisdom God prepared before the ages, revealed in Christ and made known through His Word. We ask with you that rulers would have that wisdom, that they would attend to the Law of the Lord and to godly counsel, for where there is abundance of counsel there is safety.

We also agree with you that prayer is a great weapon. As you have noted, the affairs of each day are like a storm, and we need favorable winds and protection from shipwreck. To meditate on God and to make Him favorable to us by prayer in the morning and at night is to go forth with security. Prayer is able to accomplish great things, as we see when Hannah poured out her heart before the Lord and when Isaac prayed for his wife. And we are always in need of the prayers of our brothers and sisters, even as we ourselves remain watchful. So we continue with you to ask that the Lord would keep these leaders from the evil one and deliver them from temptation, that He would restrain evil plans and expose falsehood, that He would remove imposters and bring faithful counsel near, and that He would give His angels charge over those who seek Him.

Let every prayer be accompanied with thanksgiving, as you have offered. We do not pray curses against others, but we pray for mercy, for guidance, for repentance and for salvation, that all who are in authority and all people under their care would come to know Christ and walk in His ways. We ask that God would make these leaders know what to do and help them to fulfill His purposes in their generation, and we pray with you, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, looking for the coming of our Lord Jesus.

We will continue to remember these needs before the Lord with you, trusting not in our own understanding but in His faithfulness, and asking that the peace of God which guards hearts and minds in Christ Jesus would rest upon you as you pray. In Jesus name, Amen.
