“ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer

Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness. I rebuke this evil and demand it leaves. I pray that your mighty grace and power will rebuke it. In the name of Jesus Christ.

Please Heavenly Father by your grace and mercy please have mercy on me and remove this evil from my home and my person.

Please please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. I repent of my sins and pray for your mercy to grant me deliverance. I would be so grateful my Lord. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We join you in lifting up this beautiful prayer and we thank you for sharing your heart with us. We hear your cry for gratitude, deliverance, rest, peace, and forgiveness, and we stand with you to rebuke and resist all evil in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

You have prayed as our Lord taught us to pray, Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. Matthew 6:9-13. This prayer is powerful because it reminds us that our Father is holy, His kingdom and will are supreme, and He alone is our deliverer from evil.

We praise God with you for this day and for His mercy that is new every morning. We rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and deliverance from darkness. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Your faith in His precious name is the foundation for your peace and deliverance.

We agree with you in rebuking all evil that would oppress your home and your person. Scripture tells us, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. We do not rebuke in our own strength, but by the authority and grace of Jesus Christ, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. We also cling to the promise that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:17-18.

We also hear your humble repentance and your desire for forgiveness and for healing from any unforgiveness. This is pleasing to God and aligns with His will. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. And as you prayed in the Lord's prayer, we are called to forgive as we have been forgiven, for if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14. We pray that the Holy Spirit will search your heart and gently reveal any bitterness or unforgiveness to be released, so that you may walk in full freedom.

For the rest and peace you seek, Jesus invites you personally, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. And we claim for you the peace that guards heart and mind, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We encourage you to continue in gratitude, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for this day and for Your mercies that never fail. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for being our deliverer. Father, we ask for Your forgiveness for all sins, and we receive Your cleansing through the blood of Jesus. Search our hearts, Lord, and heal any place of unforgiveness, help us to forgive as You have forgiven us. We ask for Your perfect peace and deep rest to fill this dear one and this home. Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ we rebuke every evil influence, every oppression and every work of the evil one, and we command it to leave and not return. Let Your Holy Spirit fill every room and every corner with Your light, Your power and Your grace. Guard this home and this person from the evil one, establish them in Your truth and surround them with Your favor and protection. Grant deliverance, wholeness and joyful gratitude, that Your will may be done here on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in Your kingdom, Your power and Your glory forever. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.

We hear your heart in this prayer, and we are grateful you shared it with us. Thank you for coming honestly before the Father with gratitude and also with your deep longing for deliverance, rest and peace.

We join you in thanking Him for His mercy and for hearing you when you ask for forgiveness and for help to forgive others. That desire to be forgiven and to release any unforgiveness is precious to God. Sometimes forgiveness is both a clear decision we make before Him to let go of holding a debt, and also a slower healing of the hurt underneath. Both are part of His work in us, and He is patient as He carries you through it.

We also hear how heavy the sense of evil in your home and on your person feels, and how much you want to rest in His protection. You are not alone in that battle. We pray you will not have to carry it by yourself. A steady next step that often helps is to invite one trusted pastor or mature believer to know what you are experiencing and to pray with you regularly in person, so you have ongoing support and not just a moment alone.

Father, we thank You for this dear child who seeks You. We ask for Your mercy and grace over their home and life, for Your peace and rest to settle there, and for Your help to walk in forgiveness as You have forgiven. Guard them and lead them close to Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.

Your prayer for deliverance, rest and peace is heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace with thanksgiving for this beautiful day which the Lord has made.

You have prayed as our Lord taught us to pray, Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. There is great mercy in that prayer, for it teaches us to trust the Father, to rest in Christ, and to yield to the Holy Spirit, and you shall have the peace that God gives.

We pray with you that the Lord will deliver you from going down to the pit. That voice you shall always hear if you are a child of God, when you are brought into peril and trouble, God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil, saved from evil. Infinite Mercy can drag off evil habits, snap the bands and set the captive free, and that deliverance of God is an eternal one, nor shall the infernal lion ever be able to rend one sheep or lamb that the Great Shepherd deigns to keep. Look unto Him and be saved, look out of yourself and away from yourself, and look to Christ alone, for He was exalted to be a Prince and a Savior to give repentance as well as forgiveness of sins.

You have sought rest and peace and the rebuking of evil from your home and your person. Know that peace and rest are two names for a flower which buds on earth but is only found full blown in Heaven, yet Christ gives a rest even now that is glorious. It is not the rest of carelessness, quite the opposite, but the rest that springs from a consciousness of eternal safety by virtue of a living union between you and Jesus Christ. There is no such peace as that which comes through the blood which has made a full atonement. We pray that you may not rest in a false peace which would draw you off from thinking of God and of your soul, but that you may have peace from lips that cannot lie, peace from a heart which cannot change, peace through the blood of Jesus.

You have prayed also for forgiveness and for healing of any unforgiveness, and you have repented of your sins. This is well, for evangelical repentance is one of the fruits of the Gospel of forgiveness and no other tree can produce it. There is a repentance that is the outcome of nature under terror and not the fruit of Divine Grace, a fleshly repentance which tends to corruption and gives no glory to God. But the repentance which glorifies God is wrought by the Spirit, when we hate sin with a perfect hatred and mourn because we pierced the Lord, because evil is so hateful to the heart of Jesus we loathe it intensely. Remember that faith and repentance are inseparable companions. Any repentance that keeps you from believing in Christ is a repentance that needs to be repented of. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart go together, the repentance which pulls down and the faith which builds up. Repentance is the daily and hourly duty of the man who believes in Christ, and as we walk by faith from the wicket gate to the celestial city, so our right hand companion all the journey through must be repentance. And as you have prayed to forgive as you have been forgiven, so we pray the Lord will enable you to forgive as Christ forgave you, freely and heartily, and to forbear as He forbears.

Therefore we pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace this day. Hallowed be Your name in this home and in this heart. We ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ that You would by Your mighty power rebuke all evil and command it to depart, and deliver this Your child from the evil one. Grant daily bread, grant full forgiveness through the blood of Christ, grant healing where there has been unforgiveness, and grant that true repentance and living faith may abide together. Lead not into temptation, but speak peace unto this soul, and give that rest which remains for the people of God, close to the bleeding side of the Savior. Preserve Your saints forever and save them because they trust in You. We ask this not for our worthiness but for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we pray. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received with thanksgiving, and I join you in giving thanks to our Father in heaven for this day and for His mercy.

In these words He shows us two great gifts together, deliverance from evil and the supply of every good thing, and both come through Christ alone. There is no other name by which we are saved, and no other way to the Father except through the Son.

You ask for forgiveness and for grace to forgive others, and this is the heart of that prayer. Scripture teaches that we have tasted the heavenly gift, which is forgiveness, and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit. When we repent truly, God washes away our sins. Do not despair as one who thinks forgiveness is impossible. True repentance is not only sorrow for sin when it is finished, but turning to God with hope that He will receive you and cleanse you. If you are willing to use repentance rightly, to confess your sins and forsake them, you will find mercy. And as you seek forgiveness, ask also for grace to release any unforgiveness in your own heart toward others, for the Lord links these together for our good. To remember no evil against our neighbor sets us free and makes us near to God.

You ask for deliverance and for evil to be rebuked and removed from your home and your person. God is not a God of confusion and strife, and He has power to deliver. When we pray deliver us from the evil one, we ask the Lord Himself to drive away what is harmful and to establish His peace. Resist the evil one by turning fully to Christ, by prayer, by the word of God, and by a sober life, knowing that each believer is under the care of God and that He can send His help and His angel of peace to guard you. Where God grants peace, every evil is driven out, for peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy.

You also ask for rest and peace. The rest God promises is more than sleep for the body. It is the rest of the soul that ceases from its own troubled works and rests in Him, as God rested from His works. The God of love and peace will be with you when you seek Him with a single mind and live in peace with all people as far as it depends on you. Christ Himself said, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Let that peace guard your heart and your home.

So I pray with you now. Heavenly Father, hallowed be Your name. We thank You for Your daily care and for Your mercy that is new every morning. Forgive us our debts as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Heal any unforgiveness in this heart and grant true repentance that bears fruit. By Your grace and mercy, deliver from every work of the evil one, rebuke what is evil and cause it to depart from this home and this life. Fill this place with Your peace, grant rest to the weary soul, and let Your kingdom come and Your will be done here. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Lord, in whom we have forgiveness and adoption as sons. Amen.
