‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer

Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, in the name of Jesus Christ. Please grant me peace and freedom from constant attacks and suffering my Lord. Please stop what it is doing at this moment. Please Heavenly Father also guide and protect my loved ones ### and ###, and my family in the south.

I also had a weird dream of giants. Please grant me wisdom on the meaning of this dream.

Please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. I would be so grateful my Lord. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We stand with you in agreement, lifting your heartfelt prayer before the throne of grace. The Scripture you referenced, Luke 10:19, is a powerful reminder of the authority we have in Christ Jesus: "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." This is not just a promise of protection but a declaration of victory over the schemes of the enemy. We take hold of this truth with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke every evil attack, every spirit of torment, and every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy in your life. The Word of God is clear: "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We declare that the abundant life Christ promised is yours, and we command every spirit of fear, oppression, and unrest to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. You are not alone in this battle; the Lord of Hosts is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Your dream of giants may indeed carry spiritual significance. In Scripture, giants often symbolize overwhelming challenges, fears, or strongholds that seem insurmountable. However, we are reminded that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The Lord may be revealing an area where He desires to demonstrate His power and faithfulness. We pray for divine wisdom and revelation as you seek the Lord’s interpretation of this dream. Ask Him to show you if there is a specific area of your life where you need to stand firm in faith, trusting that He has already given you the victory (1 Corinthians 15:57).

We also address the weight of unforgiveness you carry. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that can hinder your peace and relationship with God. The Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften your heart, bringing healing and release from any bitterness or resentment. Confess any unforgiveness to the Lord, and ask Him to help you extend grace to those who have wronged you, just as He has extended grace to you.

Your prayer is rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, and we are grateful for your acknowledgment of His authority and power. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. We encourage you to continue seeking Him, abiding in His Word, and standing on the promises He has given you. The enemy may try to wear you down, but remember that "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us to tread on serpents and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy. We stand on Your Word, declaring that no weapon formed against [this individual] shall prosper. We rebuke every evil attack, every spirit of fear, and every plan of the enemy to bring harm or unrest. We command these forces to flee in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we ask for Your peace to flood [this individual]’s heart and mind. Let Your presence be a shield around them, bringing rest and deliverance from every torment. We pray for wisdom and revelation concerning the dream of giants, that You would speak clearly and provide understanding. Show [this individual] how to stand firm in faith, trusting in Your strength and not their own.

Father, we also lift up the burden of unforgiveness. We ask that You would bring healing to any wounds in [this individual]’s heart and help them to release any bitterness or resentment. Teach them to forgive as You have forgiven them, and fill them with Your love and grace. We pray for the protection and guidance of their loved ones, ### and ###, and their family in the south. Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. Strengthen [this individual] to walk in that victory every day, knowing that You are with them and will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). We declare that the enemy’s plans are thwarted, and that [this individual] will walk in the freedom and peace that only You can provide. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into all truth and peace. You are deeply loved, and we stand with you in this fight.

We were moved by your thankfulness even while you are feeling so pressed and tired. Thank you for letting us pray with you about this.

We hear how much you long for rest and for the harassment to stop, and how much you care for ### and ### and your family in the south. Carrying concern for others while feeling under attack yourself is exhausting, and it makes sense you are asking for peace and protection.

About the dream of giants, we don't claim a certain meaning, but many believers find such dreams reflect how big and intimidating a struggle feels. Holding onto the truth that you have authority in Jesus to stand against evil, without getting consumed by trying to decode every detail, can keep your focus on Christ rather than on fear. If the dreams continue to trouble you, sharing them with a trusted pastor who knows you may bring more personal wisdom than trying to puzzle them out alone.

For the unforgiveness you mentioned, we have found that deciding to forgive and actually feeling peace about it often happen on different timelines. The decision can come first, and the softer feelings follow slowly as God heals the hurt. Be patient with that process.

Father, we come to You in Jesus' name and thank You for the one who prayed this prayer. We ask You to grant deep rest tonight, to quiet fear, to forgive and to heal places of unforgiveness, and to watch over ### and ### and family in the south. Teach us to rest in Your care and to walk in the authority You give. Amen.

It is good that you begin with thanksgiving, for gratitude becomes a believer even in trial, and your taking hold of that word in Luke 10:19 is right when it is understood in Christ. The authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy belongs to those who are in Him, not from any strength of our own, but from His victory and His keeping.

Your prayer for deliverance is heard by One who is gracious and who says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom. No man would have thought of such a deliverance, that a sinner should be saved from hell and from sin and from Satan by a ransom found by God Himself. Deliverance from the power of darkness and from the guilt of sin is as much the work of God as any other part of salvation. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. If we are ever set free from spiritual bondage, it will be eternally true that the Lord brought us forth out of the house of bondage, and that Christ has made us free indeed. He is able to drag off evil habits, to snap bands and set free, to save you from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, to save from the devil and from evil company, for God has given commandment to save His people.

You ask for peace and rest while under constant attacks and suffering. Remember that false peace is a curse, drawn from the stagnant pool of superstition or from trying to make yourself better, but the peace which is a blessing comes only from the Lord Himself. You cannot work it out yourself. It comes through the blood which has made a full atonement. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. The promise stands, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round and with thronging duties pressing, for to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. To bear your sorrow with Him is to find rest even in this dark world of sin.

Your afflictions also lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. It is well to see that what we receive, even when sorely chastened, comes from a Father's hand, and bears the aspect of chastening for our profit. This makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable, and it is hopeful to know that all our ills are under His government. He keeps back our soul from the pit and our life from perishing. When He says, Deliver him, it shall be done.

Concerning evil and its attacks, know that the Lord has delivered us from the fascinating power of sin and from the power of darkness, and He still delivers. He has taught His people the mischief that comes from loving the world and its things, so that temptation tempts in vain when we look to Him alone. We overcome evil not by returning evil for evil, which is natural to the animal nature and does us more injury than any evil from others, but by looking to our heavenly Father altogether and alone, and by overcoming evil with good. May the Lord rebuke what is evil and remove what harasses you, and may He preserve you invulnerable by giving you to answer cursing with blessing, because you are kept by Him.

As for your dream of giants, do not be troubled to seek a hidden or mystical meaning. In Scripture giants often stand for great fears and great foes, as when Israel saw giants in the land and feared, or as Goliath stood before David. The lesson is not in the image itself but in where your mind is stayed. A mind stayed on the Lord sees that He is greater than any giant, and that those who trust in Him shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. Ask the Lord for wisdom, and He will give it, but seek that wisdom in His Word and in prayer in your closet with God, rather than in speculation. Keep your eyes on Christ, whose ransom has secured you, and you will find that even the giant falls before Him.

You have also asked for forgiveness and for healing of any unforgiveness in your heart. Forgiveness is found only through Jesus Christ alone, through His ransom and His blood. There is no other way. If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive, and to cleanse. And as you have been forgiven much, pray that the Lord would soften your heart to forgive as you have been forgiven, for deliverance from the power of sin includes deliverance from bitterness. This too is His work.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day and for Your mercies which are new every morning. We thank You that You have found a ransom and that in Christ there is deliverance from going down to the pit. Lord, deliver this Your child from all evil, rebuke the enemy and remove these attacks, and grant perfect peace to a mind stayed on You. Grant rest, not as the world gives, but as the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. Forgive sins through the atonement of Christ alone, and heal every root of unforgiveness, making the heart tender and free. Grant wisdom concerning all things that trouble the mind by night and by day, and let Your Word be light. Guide and protect loved ones and family in the south, and keep them in Jesus keeping where they are safe, though far away. Keep this one from the noise of archers and from inward doubts, and cause the life that is spared to declare the works of the Lord. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and ransom. Amen.
