Disciple of Prayer
Hello please pray me and my wife have more confidence and also something is trying to steal my voice and talk over me. It cries out for demons, and it talks about curses. I’m tired of it. Please pray God casts it away from me thank you and God bless

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting you and your wife before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to silence the voice of God’s children, to sow doubt, fear, and confusion where there should be peace, confidence, and clarity. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every demonic spirit that seeks to oppress you, every curse that has been spoken or invoked, and every voice that rises to drown out the truth of God’s Word in your life.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing with the authority given to us in Jesus’ name. The Bible tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). You are not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). But take heart, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We command every demonic spirit that is harassing you, every voice that seeks to talk over you, and every curse that has been uttered against you to be bound and cast out in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that your voice is anointed by God, and no demonic force has the power to silence it.

We also pray for confidence, not the confidence that comes from the world, but the confidence that is rooted in Christ. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you and your wife would walk in the assurance of who you are in Christ, knowing that you are more than conquerors through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). Let your confidence be in the Lord, for He is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). We pray that you would stand firm in your identity as a child of God, unshaken by the lies of the enemy.

We also want to encourage you to take practical steps in your spiritual walk. Put on the full armor of God daily so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Speak the Word over your life and your situation. Declare scriptures aloud, such as Psalm 91: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust’” (Psalm 91:1-2). The enemy cannot stand against the spoken Word of God.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of ensuring that your life is fully surrendered to Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already made this confession, we encourage you to walk closely with the Lord, seeking Him daily through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this brother and his wife to You, asking that You would surround them with Your presence and fill them with Your peace. Lord, we rebuke every demonic spirit that is trying to steal his voice, every curse that has been spoken, and every lie that seeks to take root in their lives. We command these spirits to flee in Jesus’ name, for You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Father, we pray for confidence to rise up in their hearts. Let them walk in the assurance of who they are in Christ, knowing that they are Your beloved children, created for Your glory. Remove every spirit of fear, doubt, and insecurity, and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and let them be a testimony of Your grace and power.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. We speak life, healing, and restoration over their minds, bodies, and spirits. Let Your Holy Spirit fill them with boldness to declare Your Word and to walk in the authority You have given them.

Father, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. Let them seek Your face daily, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, so they are not isolated in this battle.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. We declare that this battle is won, and we praise You for the breakthrough that is coming. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you shall reap if you do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone in this fight, we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts stands with you. Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

Brother, we hear the exhaustion in your words, and we want you to know we’re standing with you. What you’re describing, the confusion, the sense that something else is speaking over you, is a battle, but it’s not one you face alone or in your own strength.

A quiet, simple truth helps us here: evil is a troublemaker, not an equal. It blusters and tries to drown out your voice, but it has no final say. When those thoughts or words rise up, you don’t have to engage them or figure them out. You can speak directly and calmly, right where you are: “In Jesus’ name, be silent and leave.” Your own will, aligned with Christ, has authority here. Don’t argue or panic, just firmly shut the door each time. Over time, that steady refusal trains your soul to rest in the voice that actually matters: the Shepherd’s.

As for confidence with your wife, remember that courage often grows not by waiting to feel ready, but by taking one small, loving step today, a word of encouragement, a quiet moment of connection. Those ordinary acts of love starve fear and build something real between you.

Let’s pray together now. Lord Jesus, we thank you that you are stronger than every voice that tries to steal this man’s peace. We command anything harassing him to be silent and to go, in your name. Fill the space it leaves with your clarity, your calm, and a sound mind. Guard his marriage, and build a steady confidence between him and his wife, rooted not in their own strength but in your faithfulness. Give them tangible, gentle moments of connection this week. We ask in your mighty name, amen.

That voice crying out for demons and muttering of curses is not your own. It is the Enemy’s black arrow, shot in the very deepest part of the stream, seeking to make you believe God has forsaken you. Do not entertain it for a moment. It is a dangerous lie, for if we believe this accusation against God, it is not long before we begin to sin. You are bone of Christ’s bone; He has never given His beloved a bill of divorce. This foul tyranny shall not stand.

Bring this torment into the light with your wife, even as you have done now. You two go into your chamber, kneel down, and pour out your case before God. Did He ever leave you when you cried to Him before? No, you will say as by a miracle you were delivered. You came out of it clean. This private prayer is a well from which you must draw the waters of comfort, for this world would be drear indeed if we could not pour out our sorrows into our Father’s ear.

Remember, it is an unheard-of thing that Christ has ever let a sinner perish. He has said, “Him that cometh to Me, I will in no wise cast out.” Cast out your anchor upon that promise now. Even when you feel most unworthy, tired, bruised in spirit, you need not clean yourself up to come to Him. Sinner, all the sin that you have done can be blotted out. No matter though it is red like scarlet, it may be as wool. The precious blood of Jesus can make it whiter than snow. You are not delivered from the curse by a moral change in you, but by a redemptive work for you. He has bought you out from under the curse.

Then, stand boldly against the shadow that falls over your voice. That candle which God has lighted, the devils of Hell cannot blow out. If you are commissioned of God to speak His truth, no demon can permanently steal your tongue. Just as you are going to grasp some divine word and suck out its honey, it seems as though something smites your hand, but drop not the text, lest you act presumptuously. Resist the Enemy, steadfast in the faith. The deliverance is already accomplished; the Lord Jesus has loosened the captive.

As for your confidence, do not seek a swaggering pride. That would be out of place among the saints. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of it. Look to your heavenly Father, not to a fickle feeling. He will bring you out of this Egypt with much profit of grace. Wait on Him with a little patience, for you shall not march out naked and feeble. In the thousands of Israel there was not one feeble person among their tribes; He will make you and your wife fit for the journey. Life and health often come to saints through briny tears and the bruising of the flesh, but they come. Tried Christians see how God sustains in trouble and how He delivers out of it. You will declare His works openly yet. Trust in the Lord; you will not fail.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The voice that would cry out for demons and speak of curses is not yours; it is the attack of the evil one seeking to drown out the confession of your faith. But Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. No curse can stand where the cross is planted. Let your voice, weak as it may feel, be joined to the clear shout of the Church: the cross is our glory, the sum of all our blessings, and our confidence. Your confidence is not in a strong voice, but in the One who answered Moses by a voice from the thick darkness, making His servant worthy. So cry out with whatever breath you have, “Christ has redeemed me,” and that other clamor must yield.

Hold fast to holiness in your marriage, for marriage preserves what faith has given. Live with your wife in chastity and honor; this too is peace and a guard against the defilement the enemy seeks. As you and she dwell together in the Lord, you build a house where the voice of God is heard over every curse. God is not far: He answers. Let your very life, together, be a voice that gives Him glory.

The torment you are describing is a battle of voices, and the enemy would love for you to believe that the foul, cursing voice is your own. But it is not. It is an intruder. The Scriptures show us a real spiritual realm where demonic forces can press upon the mind and even influence the mouth, seeking to drown out the voice of a child of God. When the powers of darkness were cast out by Jesus, they often cried out with a loud voice as they left. That rebellious shriek, that talk of curses and demons, is not the voice you were given to bear. It is the sound of a defeated foe trying to hijack what belongs to God.

In the covenant, curses were announced from Mount Ebal for those who disobeyed the voice of the Lord. Those curses pursued and overtook those who listened to the wrong voice. But you are not standing under Ebal's shadow. You have come to the mountain of grace. The key is to stop hearkening to this lying, accusing voice and to turn your ear decisively. Make the prayer of your heart that simple request: “Cause me to hear Your voice, Lord.” Your real voice is meant to publish thanksgiving and declare His wondrous works, not to echo the accusations of the pit.

The voice of the Lord is not found in that frantic, demonic shouting. His voice is power. His voice breaks the cedars and shakes the wilderness, and it can certainly shatter this dark harassment. God often speaks in a still, small voice that we must learn to tune in to. The enemy tries to glut your mind with fear so you cannot hear it, but you must, by an act of your will, quiet your heart and wait. His voice silences the storm. As you turn this over to Him, He will put a new song in your mouth where that foul crying used to be. And even now, before you see the full victory, let your prayer move into confidence and praise, because He is your helper and He shall save you. The voice of weeping and the voice of crying will not have the last word in your house.
