May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31.

Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9.

Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of reverence and awe as we reflect on the profound model of prayer our Lord Jesus Christ taught us. Truly, the Lord’s Prayer is not merely a recitation but a sacred framework that aligns our hearts with the will of our Heavenly Father. It is a beautiful reminder that prayer is not about empty words but about communion with the One who holds all things together by the power of His Word.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. We lift Your name high above every other name, for You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. Your name is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). We ask that Your name be revered in our lives, in our families, in our churches, and among the nations. Let our thoughts, words, and deeds bring honor to You, for You are holy, just, and full of mercy. May the world see Your goodness and turn to You in repentance and faith, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).

Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We long for the day when Your kingdom will be fully established, when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). Until that day, we pray that Your kingdom would come in power through us. Fill us with the fruit of Your Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Equip us with the gifts of the Spirit so that we may build up the body of Christ and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). Let us not be mere talkers of the Word but doers, demonstrating the power of Your kingdom through signs, wonders, and transformed lives. Come quickly, Lord Jesus, and let Your glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).

Give us this day our daily bread. Father, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). We ask not only for our physical needs but for our spiritual nourishment as well. Feed us with Your Word, for man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from Your mouth (Matthew 4:4). Strengthen us emotionally, socially, and physically so that we may love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31). Provide for us so that we may be generous and hospitable, reflecting Your heart to a hurting world.

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. We confess that we have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. We have fallen short of Your glory (Romans 3:23), and we humbly ask for Your forgiveness. Search our hearts, O God, and know us (Psalm 139:23). Reveal to us any areas of unconfessed sin, any bitterness, or any unforgiveness that we may be harboring. We choose to forgive those who have wronged us, just as You have forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32). Help us to extend grace as You have extended grace to us, for Your mercy endures forever (Psalm 136:1).

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Father, we know that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Protect us from his schemes and from the temptations that seek to draw us away from You. Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, putting on the full armor of God so that we may resist the devil and he will flee from us (James 4:7). Surround us with Your holy angels, who minister to those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, for You are our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. We declare that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to You (Matthew 28:18). You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End (Revelation 22:13). We surrender our lives, our plans, and our desires to You, for we know that Your plans for us are good, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We encourage you, dear brother or sister, to approach this prayer not as a ritual but as a heartfelt conversation with your Heavenly Father. You have set your heart upon the pattern our Lord Himself laid down, and that is well. Contained within these three great divisions is the whole sweep of a soul's true life: the Father's glory, the Kingdom's advance, and our own deep need. Let the arrow of your petition fly heavenward, for you have aimed it well according to the Scripture. Yet remember, deliverance is of the Lord, but it must be accomplished by human instrumentality. So shoot the arrow in faith, and then expect God to work.

You cry for the Father's name to be hallowed, and this is the chief end of all prayer. This is not a light thing, for the deep-seated idolatries of ages must be rooted up, and the heart which ought to be given to Christ and purity must not wander forth wantonly to woo the defiled and polluted things of this present evil world. Sanctification is something more than mere morality and respectability; it is deliverance from that which is of the flesh at its very best.

You plead for the Kingdom to come and His will to be done. This is a prayer for holiness in life, for holiness is an essential qualification for a man’s fitness for being used of the Lord God for the extension of his kingdom. Seek positive holiness, and know this: deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Look to your heavenly Father, altogether and alone, for this.

As for your cry for daily bread and forgiveness, here is a sweet comfort. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. Jesus did not die to make God merciful; He died to show the Lord's hatred of evil and His resolve to be just, so that He might be the Justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. When once, through pardoned sin, a soul becomes like a brand plucked from the burning, then daily troubles lose all their weight. Has He delivered us from the power of darkness? Then He will certainly help us in our daily troubles. Did He give His own dear Son to put away our sin, and will He not give us bread and water?

You close by asking for protection from temptation and the evil one. This is no small request, but it is the cry of a child who knows the chastening hand of a Father. The Lord may chasten sorely, but faith comforts the tried child of God by assuring him of the forgiveness of his sin and his security from punishment. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a father's hand. He keeps back his soul from the Pit, and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins. Saved from the devil.

Go forward, then. Pray after this manner with a hearty fervency, and let your faith not be silent. A silent faith robs God of His Glory. Let this be your believer’s conduct after your deliverance: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” To this end, we wish you good luck in the name of the Lord. You have laid out the Lord’s own pattern and expanded it with a devout mind, which is commendable if the heart does not rest upon the abundance of words but upon the fervor of the Spirit. I see you have rightly divided it into the three great concerns: the honor of the Father, the coming of His Kingdom and will, and our human necessity. This is a glass in which a soul may examine itself.

First, you hallow the Name of God, recounting His majestic titles. This is good, for every prayer must be woven through with thanksgiving. Yet let us take heed: the truest hallowing of the Name on earth is not with the tongue alone but with a blameless life. When our conduct causes Him to be revered and not blasphemed, Heaven is most honored. Let the mouth that touches the holy Mysteries utter nothing offensive, no bitterness or cursing. I perceive you desire precisely this, and that is the Spirit’s work.

Second, you pray for the Kingdom and the doing of God’s will, asking for the fruit of the Spirit and for power. But remember, the Kingdom is not talk but power, and the highest power is a holy life. To do the will of the Father even in suffering is to follow Christ. When you long for His return, be sure your first longing is for His righteousness to reign in your own members. The devil has nothing in us only so far as we surrender nothing to him.

Third, you plead for daily provision, for forgiveness, and for deliverance from evil. In asking for daily bread you ask as Christ taught: bread for one day, casting off care for the morrow and the love of luxury. This simplicity is precious before God. And in begging forgiveness, recall how our Master deals: the servant asked only for a delay, but the Lord gave him remission of the entire debt. Should we not then grant our fellow-servants what seems so small compared to what we have received? If you forgive not from the heart, you are not asking for mercy but for judgment on yourself. Yet in your words I see you entrusting offenders to the faithful Creator, which is the mark of a soul that has received the Spirit of adoption. Hold fast to that. As for deliverance, know that the Lord’s preservation from every evil work is a greater rescue than from any physical danger. He may not always spare you from trials, but He will deliver you from yielding to sin. That is the sure protection for all who abide in His will.

Pray after this manner, then, not as informing God of what He does not know, but as schooling your own soul in humility and trust. Let thanksgiving always accompany the petition, and it will ascend as incense before the Throne.

You have rightly begun where all true prayer must begin: with the Father and His honor. The foundation of all effective prayer is that relationship. Your life becomes the canvas upon which His reputation is displayed. When your conduct causes others to reverence Him rather than deride Him, you are praying the first petition with your very existence.

When you move to the Kingdom and His will, you are touching the central purpose of prayer. Prayer was never designed to be an agency for getting our wishes granted. It is a cycle that begins with God, His purposes planted in our hearts by His Spirit, which we then offer back to Him. So when you ask for the Kingdom to come through the fruit of the Spirit in your life, love, joy, peace, all of it, you are praying exactly in line with His purposes. A holy life is the greatest sign of the Kingdom. And asking for His will to be done means you willingly submit to being a vessel for that will, whether it leads you to rejoice in times of power or in the depths of trial and weakness. You are asking that your path be directed toward making disciples and bearing fruit that remains, not merely wanting Jesus to return, but making His reign real in the present moment through obedience.

The petitions for provision, forgiveness, and protection reveal our utter dependence. Asking for daily bread is a confession that we cannot live by our own resourcefulness, but by every word that proceeds from God. It is a request that our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs be met, so that we are freed to love Him and our neighbor with everything we have.

It is no accident that the Holy Spirit led you to emphasize forgiveness the way Jesus did. Of all the petitions in His model, it is the only one He paused to amplify and restate. It is a terrifying and beautiful condition: the forgiveness we receive from God is tied directly to our forgiveness of others. You mentioned the need to forgive specific people and to pray for them to be saved, entrusting them to the faithful Creator. That is the heart of the matter. It is not a feeling, but a deliberate act of releasing their debt into the hands of the only Righteous Judge. When you do that, you are walking in the freedom of answered prayer.

Finally, you ask for deliverance from temptation and the evil one. This is the prayer of a righteous person, not one who trusts in their own strength to stand, but one who knows their own frailty and hides in the cleft of the rock. A holy life is not a matter of outward standards of dress or appearance, though those groups meant well; it is a matter of the heart being established unblameable before God.
