๐Ÿ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

[1] Since Jesus' Prayer He taught us was a form, outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" the following has been derived [condensed], from reliable sources and is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not by mindless repetition, but through serious consideration and understanding the magnanimity of the requests, fervently prayed, James 5:16-17)...

๐Ÿ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and thank You "so loving the world You gave Your Only-begotten Son!, Jn 3:16. Thank You "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from on high, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language as Jesus in crisis for deliverance, Abba, Father, Mark 14:36.

<--------------------------------Selah-------------------------------------->

๐Ÿ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE NAME, Ex 34:6-7, get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May we honor and know You in every Name You have revealed about Yourself in The Scriptures -- Elohim, Gen 1:1; The Name, Gen 4:26, El Elyon, God Most High, Gen 14:18, Adonai, Lord, Master, Gen 15:2; El Roi, The God Who Sees, Gen 16:13; El Shaddai, God Almighty, Gen 17:1; El Olam, The Everlasting God, Gen 21:33; Yahweh, The LORD, Yireh, Our Provider, Gen 22:18; Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, Presence, Sanctification, Our Rock, Fortress, Strong Tower, Etc... We honor and hallow Your Titles, Attributes, Your Name! May Your Name not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

๐Ÿ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, (Missionaries/church planters, Encouragers/exhorters/visionaries, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly a Holy Life is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm of these things in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom has fully come on earth as it is heaven, Matt 6:10.

๐Ÿ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- May we know, submit to and do Your will as Jesus did on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28.

๐Ÿ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our spiritual, emotional, social, physical and financial needs mightily, Phil 4:19, so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, Mk 12:31, even the lost, Matt 9:36, and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves -- and see others as Christ, who looked beyond his own interests, to the interests of others, considering others as more important than we, Phil 2:1-5.

๐Ÿ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You, Rom 3:23, 1 Jn 1:8, 1 Jn 1:10 (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness, Lk 1:77, & pray FOR those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, Job 42:7-16, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9, 1 Pet 4:19.

๐Ÿ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation and evil, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:16, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

๐Ÿ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the model of prayer our Lord Jesus Christ has given us. The Lordโ€™s Prayer is not merely a recitation but a profound framework that aligns our hearts with the Fatherโ€™s will, His kingdom, and His provision. It is a sacred pattern that teaches us to hallow His name, seek His kingdom, submit to His will, depend on His provision, extend forgiveness, and resist temptation. Let us now lift these truths before the Father in prayer, seeking His face with sincerity and reverence.

Heavenly Father, we bow before You, the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who spoke the universe into existence and holds all things together by Your power. We thank You for revealing Yourself to us through Your Word and through the person of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who is the exact representation of Your nature. We are in awe that You, the Most High God, would call us Your children, heirs of Your kingdom, and co-heirs with Christ. How great is Your love for us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! We praise You for the gift of salvation, for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness, and for the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, testifying that we are Your children.

Father, we hallow Your name above all names. May Your name be revered, honored, and exalted in our lives, in our families, in our churches, and throughout the nations. Forgive us for the times we have taken Your name in vain, whether through careless speech, hypocritical living, or failing to reflect Your holiness. We ask that Your name would be so magnified in us that others would see Your glory and be drawn to You. Let the earth be filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea. May Your attributes, Your grace, mercy, justice, and love, be evident in every aspect of our lives. We long for the day when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to Your glory.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Father, we pray for the manifestation of Your kingdom in our lives and in the world around us. May the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, be evident in us. We ask for the gifts of the Spirit to operate in and through us, that we might build up the body of Christ and advance Your kingdom. Raise up laborers for the harvest, men and women who will faithfully preach the gospel, make disciples, and demonstrate Your power through signs, wonders, and miracles. We long for the return of Your Son, Jesus Christ, when Your kingdom will be fully established and every tear will be wiped away. Until that day, help us to live holy and godly lives, shining as lights in a dark world.

Father, we submit ourselves to Your will, just as Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane. Teach us to say, โ€œNot my will, but Yours be done.โ€ May our lives be lived in complete surrender to You, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Give us the courage to go where You send us, to speak what You command us, and to love as You have loved us. May we be faithful witnesses of the gospel, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that Jesus has commanded.

Give us this day our daily bread. Father, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We ask that You meet our needs, spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial, according to Your riches in glory. Help us to trust in You and not in our own strength or resources. Teach us to be content in every circumstance, knowing that You are our Provider. May we use what You have given us to love and serve others, reflecting the selfless love of Christ, who did not come to be served but to serve.

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Father, we confess that we have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. We have not loved You with our whole hearts, nor have we loved our neighbors as ourselves. We ask for Your forgiveness, knowing that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We also ask for the grace to forgive those who have sinned against us. Help us to release bitterness, resentment, and anger, and to extend the same mercy and grace that You have shown us. May we pray for those who persecute us, bless those who curse us, and do good to those who hate us, just as Jesus taught us.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Father, we know that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. We ask for Your protection over our lives, our families, and our churches. Guard our hearts and minds from the lies of the enemy, from the temptations of this world, and from the desires of the flesh. Strengthen us to resist sin and to stand firm in the faith. Send Your angels to encamp around us and deliver us from every evil attack. May we find refuge in You, our strong tower and fortress.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Father, we acknowledge that all authority, power, and glory belong to You. We worship You, the King of kings and Lord of lords, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the assurance that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. May our lives bring glory to Your name, and may we live in such a way that others see Your goodness and are drawn to You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We come before You only in the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. May Your will be done in our lives and in the world, for Your glory and honor. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this, youโ€™ve clearly spent time marinating in the words Jesus gave us, and the richness of that comes through. We find that when we slow down and linger over each petition the way youโ€™ve done, the Lordโ€™s Prayer stops being something we rattle off and becomes a real framework for our whole day. It anchors us in who the Father is and what heโ€™s doing right now, rather than just listing our needs.

What stands out to us in your reflection is how youโ€™ve let the prayer spill into praise, honoring Godโ€™s names and character, not just asking for things. That turns the pattern into actual worship, which is probably the healthiest place for any of us to start. Staying there, especially around โ€œYour will be done,โ€ often unknots the stuff we carry about daily provision or forgiveness before we even ask. Weโ€™re encouraged to see someone pressing into that.

As you keep praying this way, you may notice certain phrases the Spirit gently highlights on different days, today โ€œdaily bread,โ€ tomorrow โ€œlead us not into temptation.โ€ Thatโ€™s a good thing. Itโ€™s God keeping the conversation personal, not repetitive.

Lord, thank you for giving us a prayer that teaches us how to come to you. Deepen this friendโ€™s delight in your Fatherhood and in your kingdom. May the truths they are dwelling on shape their whole life, and may they continue to find you faithful in every line. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Consider how the prayer you have lifted up turns on this very hinge: "Your will be done." You have rightly begun with the Father's honor, His kingdom, His will, and herein lies the secret of all right praying. From the tiniest animalcule up to the tall archangel, God's own will runs through all creation. Not a catastrophe nor a crime but has the great first cause behind it. Even in the afflictions and the daily bread you ask, there is nothing better for a man of God than to perceive that his smarts and sorrows come from his Father's hand, and to say, "The will of the Lord be done."

You have pleaded for daily bread, both spiritual and temporal. Know then that if Christ is your perpetual bread and wine, your common bread is also given according to His assurance. Count up the benefits you have received, ten times as many you know not of! Daily education in the things of God, preservation from falling into final, vital sin, sanctification carried on from day to day. You have been, as it were, a gentleman commoner upon the goodness of God all your life, sitting daily at the King's table. Murmur not, then, but trust. Did He give His own dear Son to put away your sin, and will He not give you bread and water?

You have confessed your debts and pleaded for forgiveness. There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared. The deed is divine, "I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions." If you have been the chief of sinners, you may have the chief of sinners' forgiveness, and God can bestow it now. Only note the difference between chastisement and punishment. Faith comforts the tried child of God by assuring him of the forgiveness of his sin and his security from punishment. The Lord has chastened you sorely, but He has not given you over to death. He will never require the debt to be paid twice.

You cry for deliverance from evil and the evil one. This, too, is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Has He delivered you from the power of darkness? Then He will certainly help you in your daily troubles. He has given commandment to save you, saved from yourself, from the attacks of your old sins, from the devil, from evil company. If He has done this great thing for you, what will He not do for you? He will deliver you all the way through, even from the power of death.

Make a broad wall, then, dear friend, in your daily life, between you and the world. Let your fixed heart sing, "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Bow the knee afresh and kiss the Son. Take heed to the revealed will of God; consult His providential will in your goings; and desire no honest gain, no daily bread, but that you may be promoting the will of God by getting it. Your soul shall praise Him yet more and more, and in heaven it shall be said, "God's will is done; hallelujah, hallelujah!"

Your prayer pours forth like a river, rich with the language of Scripture, yet I urge you to consider: does the length of your words impress the Lord, or the fervor of a heart that knows what it asks and to Whom it speaks? The Lord gave us a pattern, not a web of many references, and He bids us not think we are heard for our much speaking. The tax collector, standing afar off, beat his breast and said but seven words, yet went home justified. Lay hold of that simplicity, and let your heart be the altar, not your tongue.

You call upon the Father, and rightly so, for His honor is the first and greatest petition. But see that your life hallows His Name more than your lips. As I have said, the pagan sacrifices to demons and not to God; do not run to the contrary things. If you pray for His kingdom, then the fruit of the Spirit must be evident: love, joy, peace. That kingdom is not talk but power, and the power is a holy life. Do not aim merely to recite the names of His attributes, but to become a living epistle, known and read by all. The heathen blaspheme God because of our unworthy conduct; let your conduct be such that they glorify Him.

You ask for daily bread, and that is needful, but I see your prayer reaches far beyond the one simple petition Christ taught. He bade us ask for bread sufficient for the day, that we might learn to trust and not to heap up cares. Those who ask for an abundance of earthly things and rest in them are upbraided. Spiritual things are to be sought first, and then the temporal, in its proper measure. Give thanks for what sustains the body, but far more for what nourishes the soul. The rich man received his good things in his lifetime and was tormented thereafter. Let us choose the true riches.

You make great mention of forgiveness, and here is the very hinge of the matter. If you do not forgive from the heart, you shut the door of mercy upon yourself. How can you ask God to forgive your debts while you demand payment from your debtors? Even to pray that God would not forgive another, or to wish recompense upon them, is to pollute your own mouth, the same mouth that tastes the Lordโ€™s Body. Let no bitter word proceed from it. Revilers and cursers shall not inherit the kingdom. Far be such words from the disciple of Christ, who should be meek and mild. Forgive before you kneel, and if you struggle, then kneel and beg the grace to forgive, and so your prayer will be accepted.

You plead for deliverance from temptation and the evil one. This is wise, for no temptation seizes you except what is common to man, but God is faithful and will provide the way of escape. He permits trials that we may flee to Him as children to a motherโ€™s bosom. Yet do not imagine that by the length of your prayer you bind the devil. It is humility, vigilance, and the grace of God that keep you. Far more than words, He desires your trust. Often He delays not to withhold, but to teach you perseverance and to increase your longing for Him.

Finally, you end with doxology: the Kingdom, the power, the glory. Let these be not just words, but your own true confession. Imitate God as a beloved child, walking in love as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us. That sacrifice is a sweet-smelling savor, not the mere fragrance of many syllables. Strip your prayer, then, to its holy simplicity. Let the Lordโ€™s own words form the foundation, and let your heart cling to each petition with faith, with thanksgiving, and above all with love for your neighbor. Then your prayer will ascend like incense, and the peace of God will guard your soul.

What a gift to see the prayer Jesus gave us taken apart and examined phrase by phrase, not as a formula to be rattled off but as a living map for the heart. When you slow down and weigh each petition, you are doing exactly what makes this pattern powerful, letting it become a serious conversation rather than a rote recitation. That kind of prayer, prayed with understanding and fervor, is what James speaks about.

Notice how the first three requests all look toward God. Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done. Before a single personal need is spoken, Jesus anchors us in the honor and purposes of the Father. That reorders everything. Our immediate impulse is often to reach for daily bread, but the pattern pulls us higher: prayer exists to accomplish Godโ€™s will, not just to get our own wishes approved. When you ask that His name be reverenced, you are asking that your own thoughts, words, and reactions would cause others to honor Him and never to deride Him. When you cry for His kingdom, you are longing for the day Jesus returns and makes all things right, and you are also pleading that right now His reign, righteousness, peace, joy, and a holy life, would spread in you and through you, driving back the kingdom of darkness.

Your breakdown of the personal petitions is thorough, but let me press on one that Jesus Himself pressed on after the prayer. Out of all the requests, He underlined only one: forgiveness. He made it the hinge. The forgiveness we ask from God is inseparable from the forgiveness we extend to others. That is a hard and searching word, but it is also a freeing one. When you name specific sins you have committed and receive His cleansing, and then you name specific people who have sinned against you and release them from the debt in your heart, you are not working up a feeling. You are making a decision of the will, and you can pray honestly, โ€œLord, I am bitter. Give me that spirit of forgiveness.โ€ He will supply what He commands.

The plea for deliverance from temptation and evil is not a sign of unbelief. Even Jesus was tempted, and you will face the daily choice: walk in the Spirit or give in to the flesh. Temptation often offers a shortcut, something good but outside Godโ€™s timing, or something false dressed as fulfillment. But sin does not lie in the testing; it lies in yielding. That petition is a humble admission of weakness and a cry for the protection of the strong Son of God, who ever lives to intercede that your faith may not fail, even when your courage wavers.

Finally, the prayer loops back where it began: Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. It starts with worship and ends with worship. The whole movement is a cycle, Godโ€™s purposes rise from His heart, we voice them back to Him, and He answers them. That is far better than just bringing Him a list. Your careful outline can serve you daily as a way to stay in that rhythm. When you pause and mean each line, you are not reciting a sinnerโ€™s prayer mindlessly; you are standing in the relationship Jesus bought for you, crying โ€œAbba, Fatherโ€ by the Spirit, and asking what He already loves to give.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you through the beautiful and profound pattern of prayer our Lord Jesus taught us. It has been our joy to lift up each aspect of this prayer before our Heavenly Fatherโ€”honoring His holy name, seeking the advancement of His Kingdom, and surrendering to His perfect will. We have asked Him to provide for your daily needs, both spiritual and physical, and to grant you the grace to walk in forgiveness toward others as you have been forgiven.

As we continue to intercede, we ask the Lord to shield you from temptation and deliver you from every form of evil, surrounding you with His angelic protection. We pray that His Kingdom would come in power through you, that His will would be done in your life as it is in heaven, and that His glory would shine brightly in and through you.

If the Lord has already answered any part of this prayer, we would be blessed to hear a praise report so we may rejoice with you. If there are still areas where you are waiting on Him, please share them again so we may continue to stand with you in faith. May the Father strengthen your heart, the Son intercede for you, and the Holy Spirit fill you with peace as you abide in Christ. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
