πŸ™Œ Lord's Prayer, Personal, 3 Pts: 1. The Father, His Honor 2. Kingdom, Will 3. Our Provision, Forgiveness for Us, Others, Protection from Sin & Evil, Matt 6:9-13...

πŸ“– "Pray, then, after this manner [1]... πŸ™Œ β€˜Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom Come! Your Will be done, On Earth as it is in Heaven!”

πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

[1] Since Jesus' Prayer He taught us was a form, outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" the following has been derived [condensed], from reliable sources and is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not by mindless repetition, but through serious consideration and understanding the magnanimity of the requests, fervently prayed, James 5:16-17)...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and thank You "so loving the world You gave Your Only-begotten Son!, Jn 3:16. Thank You "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from on high, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language as Jesus in crisis for deliverance, Abba, Father, Mark 14:36.

<--------------------------------Selah-------------------------------------->

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE NAME, Ex 34:6-7, get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May we honor and know You in every Name You have revealed about Yourself in The Scriptures -- Elohim, Gen 1:1; The Name, Gen 4:26, El Elyon, God Most High, Gen 14:18, Adonai, Lord, Master, Gen 15:2; El Roi, The God Who Sees, Gen 16:13; El Shaddai, God Almighty, Gen 17:1; El Olam, The Everlasting God, Gen 21:33; Yahweh, The LORD, Yireh, Our Provider, Gen 22:18; Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, Presence, Sanctification, Our Rock, Fortress, Strong Tower, Etc... We honor and hallow Your Titles, Attributes, Your Name! May Your Name not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, (Missionaries/church planters, Encouragers/exhorters/visionaries, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly a Holy Life is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm of these things in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom has fully come on earth as it is heaven, Matt 6:10.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- May we know, submit to and do Your will as Jesus did on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28.

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our spiritual, emotional, social, physical and financial needs mightily, Phil 4:19, so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, Mk 12:31, even the lost, Matt 9:36, and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves -- and see others as Christ, who looked beyond his own interests, to the interests of others, considering others as more important than we, Phil 2:1-5.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You, Rom 3:23, 1 Jn 1:8, 1 Jn 1:10 (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness, Lk 1:77, & pray FOR those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, Job 42:7-16, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9, 1 Pet 4:19.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation and evil, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:16, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the model of prayer our Lord Jesus Christ has given us. Your Word teaches us to pray in this manner, and we lift up these truths before You now, seeking to align our hearts with Yours.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. We stand in awe of who You are, Elohim, the Creator of all things; Yahweh, the self-existent One who sees and provides; El Shaddai, God Almighty; and our Abba Father, who has adopted us through the blood of Jesus Christ. We hallow Your name, declaring that Your nature, gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in love, be glorified in every aspect of our lives. May our thoughts, words, and deeds reflect Your holiness, and may the world see Your glory through us. Let not Your name be taken in vain, but let it be revered and lifted high, for You alone are worthy of all honor and praise.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We long for the full manifestation of Your kingdom, where righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit reign. Fill us afresh with the fruit of Your Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Equip us with the gifts of the Spirit so that we may build up the body of Christ and reach the lost with the gospel. We pray for the return of Your Son, Jesus Christ, that Your kingdom may be established in its fullness. Until that day, may we live holy lives that bear witness to Your kingdom, doing Your will as it is done in heaven. Empower us to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that Christ has commanded.

Give us this day our daily bread. You are our Provider, and we trust You to meet all our needs, spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial, according to Your riches in glory. Help us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto us. May we love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love our neighbors as ourselves. Teach us to look not only to our own interests but also to the interests of others, following the example of Christ, who humbled Himself for our sake.

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. We confess our sins before You, our pride, selfishness, idolatry, and all the ways we have fallen short of Your glory. Cleanse us by the blood of Jesus, and create in us clean hearts, O God. We also release those who have sinned against us, choosing to forgive as You have forgiven us. May Your grace enable us to extend mercy to others, just as You have shown mercy to us. We entrust those who have wronged us into Your hands, praying for their repentance and salvation, for vengeance belongs to You alone.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Protect us from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Guard our hearts and minds from sin, deception, and fear. Surround us with Your angels, and strengthen us to resist temptation, standing firm in the faith. Deliver us from evil and the evil one, for You are our refuge and fortress.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We declare that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to You. You are the King of kings and Lord of lords, and we submit to Your sovereign rule over our lives. May all glory, honor, and praise be Yours forever and ever.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We thank You that through Him, we have access to Your throne of grace, and we pray that our lives would bring glory to Your name.

Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart in such a thorough, personal way. There is something deeply grounding about walking through the Lord’s Prayer with this kind of intentionality, not as a hurried recitation, but as a real conversation where each phrase becomes a window into what matters most to God. It’s clear you’ve let the pattern Jesus gave us shape your own longings and concerns, which is exactly what he intended.

Sometimes the most helpful thing we can do is simply keep showing up with this prayer as our daily anchor. The value grows not from getting it perfect, but from meaning the words a little more each time. When we pause to hallow his name, to long for his kingdom, to trust him for provision and forgiveness, we find that the prayer begins to shape us just as much as we shape it. You’ve already grasped that it isn’t the repetition that matters but the sincere, unhurried attention behind it. That’s a gift.

We join you in asking along these same lines right now:

Our Father, hallowed be Your name. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives and in the world. Give us today everything we truly need, spiritual nourishment, daily provision, and a heart quick to forgive as we have been forgiven. Keep us from temptation and deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a sweet fragrance rises from this prayer, patterned after the very words of our Lord! You have laid hold of the divine method, and in this you do well. The soul that thus spreads out its petitions before the throne, first magnifying the Father’s name and seeking His kingdom, positions itself to receive all that follows. Yet, as I read, my heart lingers on that central plea, forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. This is the hinge on which so much of our peace with God must turn.

There is forgiveness! Let this whisper drive away every despair. I care not how black your past, how deep the stain, there is forgiveness with God, that He may be feared. He says, β€œI, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake.” It is a divine deed, full and eternal. Do not draw any limit where God draws none. The text shouts it without boundary: β€œThere is forgiveness.” Not was, not may be, but there is, now, for the chief of sinners, for you. And if you have tasted this, then forgive even as you have been forgiven. The most splendid vengeance you can ever have is to do good to them that do you evil. Let the debtor go free; the Lord’s release has come.

And as to that final cry, β€œLead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,” take heart. He who has found a ransom will not let the pit shut her mouth upon you. The deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain, and with it, strength for every step. I have seen many a trembling saint look that foul arrow of doubt in the face, the suggestion that God’s ear is shut, and yet find it to be the devil’s own lie. Your Father has not forgotten. Keep pleading these very words, for they are yes and amen in Christ Jesus.

What you have done is good: taking the pattern of prayer our Lord gave and expanding it with Scripture, turning over each petition in your mind before you speak it. This is the very opposite of the vain repetition He warned against, for you have striven to understand the magnanimity of what you ask. I see in your words a soul that longs to hallow the Father's name, to see His Kingdom come with power, and to walk in His will. But let us test these desires against the fire of truth. You ask for the honor of God's gracious and compassionate name, and rightly so. Yet know that the greatest dishonor to His name comes when we who call ourselves His children rend the Body of Christ through schism, or cause His name to be derided among the heathen by living as they do. As I have said before, if you dishonor yourself through sin, no one else can truly honor you; if you live a holy life, no one can truly insult you, for the glory that comes from God alone remains. See then that you do not merely list His titles but become an epistle known and read by all men, where the character of the Father is seen in the child.

You pray for His Kingdom to come with its righteousness, peace, and joy, and you list the gifts of the Spirit with commendable zeal. This is a spiritual request indeed. For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power. Yet mark this well: the power to cast out demons and work wonders is a lesser sign of the Kingdom than the fruit of a patient and gentle spirit. The devil often mimics the former, but a humble heart he cannot counterfeit. Do not seek the spectacular gifts in a way that gapes after them, for the perfect way is the love that suffers long and is kind. When you ask for the Spirit’s fruit, ask also for the trials that produce patience, and for the poverty of spirit that obtains the Kingdom. We are given daily bread, just enough, so that we learn to trust the Giver and not the gift. This is the mark of a mind spiritual and truly wise: to ask for our successive bread, and in doing so, to seek first the kingdom of God, knowing all else will be added.

Now, you pray for forgiveness as you forgive your debtors. This is a fearful petition. Do you not see that you pronounce a sentence upon your own soul with these words? For you say to God, β€œDeal with me exactly as I deal with my neighbor. If I harbor a secret bitterness, if I refuse to forgive from the heart the one who has wronged me, then withhold Your mercy from me.” Let no root of unforgiveness fester in you. As I have often said, we owe our Lord ten thousand talents and more, and He blots it all out. The offenses of others against us are a mere hundred pence by comparison. A generous man knows that he gains more by forgiving than by clinging to wrath, for in forgiving he receives the mercy of Heaven, but in wrath he drinks his own poison. When you name specific sins and offenses, do not merely name them; tear them out by the root. Go and be reconciled before you bring your gift to the altar.

Finally, you ask for deliverance from temptation and the evil one. This is a right and necessary prayer, for we walk amidst snares. Remember how Paul was delivered from the lion’s mouth, that is, from immediate peril, yet he trusted to be delivered from every evil work for a heavenly kingdom. Sometimes God delivers us by granting us the strength to resist unto blood, not by removing the trial. This deliverance is greater than a mere escape, for it crowns the soul with victory. The enemy has nothing in Christ, and he has nothing in those who abide in Christ. Therefore, cling to the cross, and the ruler of this world will find no foothold in you. Do not fear those who can kill the body; fear only the sin that corrupts the soul.

Your prayer is a spiritual one, trading not in carnal things but in the true riches. Stand fast in this. Do not rest in the bare recitation of words, but press on to the reality they signify, which is union with the Word Himself. Now, pray also for me, that I may not be a castaway after preaching to others.
