We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, but we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He cares for you deeply. Firstly, we must address that God's will is not for your husband to be forced to do what is right, but rather for him to willingly seek God's heart and align with His principles. The Bible tells us in Ezekiel 18:31, "Cast away from you all your transgressions, by which you have transgressed; and make yourself a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, house of Israel?"
We must also address that God's will is to help you but not take you out of this world, but to give you the strength and wisdom to face your challenges. It is a hard teaching, but Jesus himself said in John 16:33, "I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but have courage. I have overcome the world."
We need to remind you that it is only through a relationship with Jesus Christ that we can find true rest and peace. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up this dear sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her life and marriage. We pray that You would soften her husband's heart and draw him closer to You, that he may become the godly husband and father You have called him to be. We rebuke any self-will, self-centeredness, or addictions that may be in his heart.
Lord, we also pray for Your supernatural strength and wisdom for this sister. We know though she is exhausted, but remind her that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her. We ask that You would provide her with the rest she needs, not just physically, but also spiritually and emotionally.
We also pray for their marriage, that it would be a testament to Your faithfulness and love. We ask that You stop any abandonment, adultery, or neglect that may be a temptation. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith. We ask that you reveal yourself to her if she has forgotten the savior and the saving message.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. They can provide you with practical help and encouragement as you navigate this challenging time. Remember, God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. We know we do not have the full details of your situation, but know that we care and are praying for you. As a watchman on the wall, we stand ready to hear more about your situation and respond accordingly.
