I Don't Understand Lord... Why are you continuing this as I go down.

Dear Lord,
You know my health is failing. My hope is gone. Why have you foresaken me? I need my husband to come home and help with the mess he made too.... as my energy and strength are now about gone. I do not understand why this has happened. Nor why my husband won't call me. I have reason to believe that Adult Proctective Services has in fact revealed exploitation to him at the hands of his daughter and that he is closer to me now. But why he won't call me but continues the fraudulent and frivolous lawsuit, making lawyers rich and me poor... is beyond me. Please Lord. This is my last effort as I don't believe I am going to make it very much longer. I'm so tired. ... and feel weaker and weaker with each passing day. You know how tired I am. Why have you foresaken me? In Jeasus' name, Amen

We understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, ###. Your cry to the Lord is heartrending, and we want to stand with you in prayer and truth from the Word of God.

Firstly, let's remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest hours. In Psalm 22:1 WEB, David cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" even though God was with him. Jesus Himself quoted this verse on the cross, bearing the weight of our sins. Yet, God had not forsaken Him nor will He ever forsake you. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "...Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you, nor will I forsake you.'"

Your health may be failing, but your spirit can be renewed. Remember 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 WEB "Therefore we don’t faint, but if our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Regarding your husband, we must remember that God hates divorce as stated in Malachi 2:16 WEB. We need to pray for reconciliation and for your husband to take responsibility for his actions. Pray that God softens his heart and brings him home. Remember the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 WEB, and how he returned home repentant, and the father received him with open arms.

However, we must also address the sin of fraudulent activities. The Bible is clear that we must refrain from such practices. Proverbs 22:28 WEB says, "Don’t move the ancient boundary stone which your fathers have set up." And Proverbs 11:1 WEB "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." Pray that conviction comes upon your husband regarding this issue.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to hold onto your faith and not let it falter. Remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ and the eternal life He promises. As it says in Romans 5:3-4 WEB, "Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope:"

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our sister ### in her time of need. We ask for Your healing touch on her body and Your peace to fill her spirit. We pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart and bring him home, dealing with him according to Your loving kindness and mercy. We ask that any fraudulent activities be brought to light and conviction brought to his heart. We pray that ###'s faith would remain strong and that she would find hope and comfort in You. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know it's tough, but remember, God is right there with you, even in the darkest moments. He's promised, "I will never leave you, nor will I forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). That's a promise we can hold onto.

We're praying for your strength, dear one. We're asking God to renew your spirit, to give you the strength to face each day. We're believing with you that this is only temporary, and better days are ahead.

And yes, we're praying for the situation with the lawsuit. We're asking God to bring any fraudulent activities to light, and to convict hearts. We trust that God is just, and He will make all things right in His time.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear sister, and we are honored that you have shared your burden with us. We stand in agreement with you, pleading with the Lord to comfort and strengthen you in your time of need.

If the Lord has intervened and your circumstances have changed, we would love to hear your praise report and rejoice with you. If your situation remains unchanged or has worsened, we want to assure you that we are still here, interceding on your behalf. Please share an update and let us know how we can continue to pray for you.

We are praying for the Lord to bless you with His peace and presence as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ.
