Lord please help me keep my job ...

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of our anonymous friend. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in their situation regarding their job with the government. We pray that you would touch the hearts and minds of those in authority, causing them to reconsider and choose to keep our friend employed. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 21:1 that "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." We trust in your sovereignty and ask for your favor to be upon our friend.
Furthermore, Lord, we ask that you would guide and provide for their children in their search for employment. May you open doors of opportunity and lead them to the right job opportunities. We pray for your wisdom and discernment for our friend as they support and assist their children in this process. Your Word assures us in James 1:5 that "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." We believe that you will grant them the wisdom they need to navigate this situation.
Lord, we place our trust in you, knowing that you are our provider and sustainer. We ask for your peace and comfort to surround our friend during this uncertain time. Help them to lean on you and find strength in your presence. We pray that you would keep them from evil and guard their hearts and minds from any discouragement or anxiety. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May your will be done in our friend's life, and may they experience your faithfulness and provision. Amen.
