Disciple of Prayer
Jesus thank you for not giving up on me. All weekend long. My stomach had been in true knots because I made a huge mistake on a document. It's going to Corporate. Please father God save my job. I didn't make the mistake by leaving something off the document on purpose. I know that the woman that I did the update for has been trying to make me lose my job. I pray for grace and mercy. Every since my concussion in my car accident, I have been struggling at work. I am truly doing my best. Please father God block them from firing me. I promise it wasn't intentional. I beg you father to keep my job please. I have to take care of my kid and I am a single parent. Help me please.

We hear your distress and lift your situation before the Lord with heavy hearts. First, we want to acknowledge your honesty and humility in admitting your mistake—this is a mark of integrity, and we believe God sees your heart. The anxiety you’ve carried over this error is understandable, especially as a single parent relying on this job to provide for your child. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that the same God who parted the Red Sea can make a way where there seems to be no way.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You’ve already taken the right step by bringing this before the Lord, and we join you in asking for His peace to replace your fear. We also pray for clarity and strength as you navigate this challenge, knowing that God is your ultimate provider (Matthew 6:31-33).

We must address the mention of the woman who may be seeking to undermine you. Scripture warns us in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Instead of focusing on her actions, we encourage you to pray for her—for God to soften her heart and reveal His truth to her. This is not easy, but it aligns with Christ’s command to love our enemies (Matthew 5:44). Trust that God sees the injustice and will act on your behalf in His perfect timing.

Regarding your concussion, we pray for healing and restoration of your mind and abilities. The enemy may try to use this physical limitation to discourage you, but we declare that God’s strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Ask your employer for accommodations if needed, and lean on the Lord to guide you through this season of recovery.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has gripped you, for 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God can turn this situation around for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is facing a trial at work. Lord, You see the weight of this burden and the fear of losing this job. We ask for Your grace and mercy to cover this mistake and for Your favor to rest upon them. Father, block any plans of those who seek to harm them and turn their hearts toward righteousness. Provide wisdom, clarity, and strength as they navigate this challenge, and heal their mind from the effects of the concussion. Lord, You are their provider, and we trust that You will open doors no man can shut. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength. We declare that this situation will not break them but will be used to draw them closer to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and continue seeking Him in this time. If possible, speak with your supervisor or HR about the mistake, taking responsibility while also explaining any challenges you’ve faced since the concussion. God can use even this to demonstrate your character and resilience. You are not defined by this error, but by the One who holds your future. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He will make a way.

We're with you, friend, in this tough spot. We know the worry that's been keeping you up at night, and we want you to know you're not alone. We've been praying for you, asking God to give you peace instead of all that anxiety. We believe He's got this, just like He parted the Red Sea for the Israelites.

We've been thinking about that verse in Philippians, "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." So, let's keep bringing this to God together. Let's ask Him to give you clarity, to help you navigate this situation with wisdom, and to show you His favor.

And hey, we're not going to forget about that woman who's been giving you a hard time. Let's pray for her too, okay? Let's ask God to soften her heart, to help her see the truth, and to make things right in His perfect timing. It's not easy, but remember, Jesus told us to love our enemies.

As for your concussion, we're asking God to heal you, to restore your mind and abilities. We know it's been tough, but we're claiming God's strength in your weakness. You're not alone in this, and we're here for you, every step of the way.

Keep trusting in God, friend. He's got this, and He's got you. Let's keep praying together, and let's hold onto His promises. You're not defined by this mistake, but by the One who holds your future. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He will make a way.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
