The multitude of words in your plea betrays a heart weighed down by many cares. And these very cares, this anxiety over worldly relationships and daily troubles, can choke the word of salvation. For it is not enough to be free from one vice, but we must cultivate also the other parts of virtue. What if you are free from open unbelief, yet are soft and entangled in the deceitfulness of riches and the care of this world? No one part is sufficient for our salvation, but there is required first a careful hearing, and a continual recollection; then fortitude, then contempt for all these earthly entanglements.

You ask for protection and deliverance, and rightly so. But understand that the very sufferings you endure, whether affliction or comfort, are for your salvation, which works in the patient enduring of the same sufferings. God indeed sent not His Son to judge the world, but to save the world. He speaks those things that are for your salvation, not for your condemnation. He withholds immediate judgment and swift removal of every thorn so that you might lay hold of life. For the things which tend to salvation are often not known by us in our distress; we consider them troublesome, but this arises not from the nature of the thing, but from our disease.

Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Do not postpone your hope to a future season of perfect peace. This present hour, with all its difficulty and waiting, is the only season available. Stir yourself up to lay hold of salvation now, even in the brokenness. For what is a man profited if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or if he gain a perfect household and lose the salvation wrought in patient endurance?

Do not be confounded by the abuse or the threats you face. The death of Jesus Himself was the salvation of the world, a mystery and a celebration, worked through what seemed utter defeat. So too, the afflictions that abound in Him are for your comfort and salvation. Cease from the vain and unlawful prayer that silently judges your enemies, and weep rather for them, because they know not the common salvation. It is a mark of them that perish not to recognize the things that lead to salvation. We must draw them over, but not by fretting ourselves into despair over their every action. Cast all your cares upon Him, and let your request for miracles be matched by a steadfast resolve to hear the word and do it, for hearing alone is insufficient. Supernatural trust is born not in the absence of the storm, but in the enduring of it, knowing that the Lord is at hand.

What a privilege it is to pour out every burden, every fear, and every hope before the throne of grace, just as you’ve done. Your words are thick with faith, clinging to the very promises God has given for protection, deliverance, and salvation. That desperate, childlike trust is precious in His sight, and He hears every syllable.

Thank you for reminding yourself, and me, that God has already done so much. When pain drags on and the waiting feels unbearable, it becomes easy to lose sight of the miracles He’s already worked. Yet the very fact that you can call on the name of Jesus, plead His blood over your family, and ask for a wall of Holy Spirit fire means you already stand in the greatest miracle anyone can experience: salvation. The forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ is, and always will be, God’s supreme wonder in a human life. Healing, deliverance, reconciliation, all of these flow from that one unshakeable reality. Physical healing is not more important than our salvation. So hold fast to that anchor, even while you cry out for the other mighty works you long to see.

Jesus’ own name means “Jehovah is salvation.” He is the captain of our salvation, the one who suffered to bring many sons and daughters into glory. When He walked among us, He demonstrated total authority over sickness, demonic powers, and every form of brokenness, not only to show what He can do, but to reveal what the kingdom looks like when people live in submission to God. He is the same today. The arm that calmed seas and cast out legions has not grown short. He can break every curse and transform it into blessing. He can restore what seems hopelessly shattered. He can intervene in toxic relationships and school struggles and hidden wounds. Keep laying those specific needs before Him, but never let the weight of the waiting convince you that His power has lessened or His love has cooled.

As you intercede for your whole family’s salvation, remember that God’s desire is to bring many into His family, a bond that can run even deeper than natural blood ties when hearts are united in Christ. That is not to diminish your longing for your own household to be saved, healed, and walking in unity; it is to assure you that God has a plan to draw them, and He often uses a praying, trusting family member as part of that drawing. Your persistent prayers are not wasted. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all, and now is the day of salvation. Continue to stand in the gap for them, full of hope.

When the enemy whispers condemnation over moments of frustration or words spoken in weariness, remember that you are not saved by your perfect performance. The blood of Jesus covers every failure, and His grace is greater than every regret. If there is still a tender concern for your salvation, and there clearly is, then Satan’s lies have no hold. You are safe in the grip of the One who promises never to cast out anyone who comes to Him. Work out that salvation with awe and reverence, not as a fearful striving to earn what Christ has already given, but as a daily living in the reality of His finished work.

The Holy Spirit is your helper in every detail: the sermon preparations that feel so broad, the conflicts that need divine wisdom, the prayer gatherings you long to see saturated with heaven’s fire. He will guide you in all of it. As you prepare for times of united prayer, trust that Jesus Himself is building a habitation for God’s presence among His people. Nothing delights Him more than to pour out His Spirit when His children gather in one accord.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Horn of our salvation, the mighty God who raises up deliverance from an unexpected place. He has not forgotten your vulnerable little one, nor the abuse and attacks you’ve endured. His heart is fiercely protective of the weak, and He has assigned His angels charge over you. The strong name of the Lord remains your high tower.

May His peace that passes understanding guard your heart and mind. The One who began this good work in you and your family will be faithful to complete it. Hold on, and keep praising Him for all He is doing, even in what is still unseen.

We are deeply moved by the fervent and heartfelt prayer you shared with us, and we want you to know that we have continued to stand in the gap for you and your family, lifting each request before our Heavenly Father. Your trust in His promises, even in the midst of such deep pain and struggle, is a powerful testimony of faith, and we have prayed that the Lord would strengthen and uphold you as you wait on Him.

We have specifically prayed for the wall of Holy Spirit fire and the mighty warrior angels to surround each of you, just as you asked, believing that God’s protection is already at work. We have claimed the scriptures you referenced—Psalm 91, Isaiah 54:17, and Romans 8:31—declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that the Lord is your refuge and fortress. We have also prayed for salvation, healing, and deliverance for your family, asking the Lord to break every chain and turn every curse into a blessing, just as He promises in His Word.

We have lifted up the little one in your family, asking God to shield their heart, mind, and spirit from every attack and to fill them with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We have prayed for supernatural trust, faith, and love to overflow in your home, that the fruits of the Spirit would manifest in every relationship and situation. We have asked the Lord to restore what has been broken, to heal every wound, and to bring reconciliation and unity where there has been division.

We have also stood in agreement with you for the specific needs you mentioned—school struggles, relationships, work responsibilities, and the conflicts you’re facing. We have prayed that the Lord would intervene supernaturally, granting favor, wisdom, and breakthrough in each of these areas. We have asked Him to anoint your prayer gatherings, your devotions, and your ministry, that His Holy Spirit would move powerfully and draw hearts together in unity and purpose.

If the Lord has already moved in any of these areas, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so that we can rejoice with you! If you are still waiting for complete deliverance, healing, or salvation, we want you to know that we are still here, ready to stand with you in prayer. Please do not hesitate to post this request again so that we may continue to lift you up before the throne of grace.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him. May His peace guard your heart, His strength sustain you, and His love surround you. We pray that you would see His hand at work in every detail of your life, and that your faith would be renewed as you witness His faithfulness. We continue to pray in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
