The Scriptures remind us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Therefore, we put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—that we may stand firm against every scheme of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). Lord, we lift up the practical matter of this insurance agent. We ask that You go before them and make their paths straight. Grant them favor in the sight of this individual, that their request may be heard and answered swiftly. Open doors that no man can shut, Lord, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Father, we also pray for those who have caused harm or acted as instruments of the enemy in their lives. Soften their hearts, Lord, and bring conviction where there is sin. If it is Your will, turn their hearts toward repentance and redemption. Help Your servants to release any bitterness or anger, and fill them instead with Your love and forgiveness. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19).
