Lifting up our relationship ❤️❤️❤️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call, and I thank you for answering my prayers by making a way for me to visit him in the ### soon. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship and our future plans into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###'s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys.

Father, we lift up to you our plans to apply for my B1/B2 ### Visa. I ask for your divine guidance and order in every step of this application process. Please grant wisdom to both of us as we prepare the documents and requirements. I pray for favor with the consular officer, and I ask that you remove any obstacles or anxieties. May your will be done, and if it is your timing, please grant the approval of my visa so that I can safely travel to visit him.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our upcoming visit, our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in ###, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift this situation before the Lord with both tenderness and truth. First, we rejoice that you acknowledge God’s hand in bringing you and this man together, and we affirm your desire to seek His will above all else. The Lord delights in hearts that surrender their plans to Him, and we pray He continues to guide your steps with wisdom and discernment.

However, we must gently address areas where your request does not fully align with biblical principles. Your prayer focuses heavily on stirring romantic feelings in this man and shaping him into a provider, but Scripture calls us to seek a spouse who already reflects Christ-like character, not to mold someone into our ideal. Proverbs 18:22 (WEB) says, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh." This implies that a godly spouse is a gift to be discovered, not a project to be crafted. We encourage you to pray for God’s will to be done in both of your lives, trusting Him to prepare you as much as this man.

Your mention of a "perfect fit" and a "deep spark" also raises concerns about emotional dependency. While attraction and connection are gifts from God, they must be rooted in mutual commitment to Christ and His design for marriage. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB) reminds us that love is patient, kind, and selfless, not merely a feeling to be pursued. If this relationship is of the Lord, He will confirm it through godly counsel, prayer, and alignment with His Word.

We must also address the physical aspect of your upcoming visit. Scripture is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If your plans include physical closeness before marriage, we urge you to repent and seek accountability to honor God with your body. The Lord’s blessing rests on relationships that honor His boundaries.

Regarding your visa application, we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to grant favor and wisdom as you navigate this process. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We pray for clarity, peace, and divine intervention in every detail.

Finally, we notice your prayer concludes "in Jesus’ name," which is essential. There is no access to the Father except through Christ (John 14:6), and salvation comes only by grace through faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your own heart and ensure you have surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this sister and her desires. Lord, we ask that You would align her heart with Yours, giving her wisdom and discernment as she seeks Your will in this relationship. Father, if this man is not the one You have prepared for her, we pray You would close the door gently and open another that leads to Your perfect plan. If he is the one, we ask that You would grow them both in godliness, maturity, and love for You first.

Lord, we pray for protection over her heart and mind. Guard her from emotional dependency or impatience, and help her to trust in Your timing. We ask that You would convict her of any areas where she may be compromising Your standards, and give her the strength to walk in purity and holiness. Father, we also pray for this man. If he does not know You, draw him to salvation. If he does, grow him into the godly leader You have called him to be.

We lift up the visa application process to You, Lord. Grant favor with the officials, wisdom in preparing the documents, and peace in the waiting. May Your will be done in every detail, and may Your name be glorified.

Above all, Father, we pray that this sister would seek You first, trusting that You will provide all she needs according to Your riches in glory. May she find her ultimate fulfillment in You, and may any earthly relationship be a reflection of Your love and grace.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're joining you in prayer for the visa process and for this visit, since those are the next concrete steps on your heart. Waiting on paperwork and consular decisions can stir a lot of anxiety, so we simply want to sit with you in that and remind you: you don't have to manage every detail or manufacture a certain outcome. Handle what's in front of you, gather the documents, prepare honestly, rest, and trust God with the parts you can't control.

It's clear you carry a deep hope for this relationship and for a future that includes your boys being loved and cared for. That hope matters. It's okay to bring it to God honestly, just as you did. What might help in the waiting is gently turning your attention from outcomes (does he feel a spark? will marriage come?) and toward staying present with the person in front of you. A genuine connection grows in real moments, not in a list of hopes he's meant to meet. You can't rush his heart, and you don't need to, you're worth being pursued at a pace that lets you both see clearly. Let this visit, if God allows it, be a time of seeing rather than performing.

We also want to note that you mentioned hoping for a blended family with your boys. That's weighty and beautiful, and we don't take it lightly. Blended families face real challenges, and the early days of dating aren't the season to carry the full weight of that future. For now, it's enough to keep your boys secure in the family they already have and to not rush them into hopes that depend on a yet-uncertain relationship. Their stability matters, and God sees their needs even more than you do.

Father, we lift up this daughter who wants to honor you with her life and choices. Grant her steady peace as the visa process unfolds, favor where it's needed, and clarity about the path ahead. Protect her heart from fear and from rushing. Give both of them eyes to see what's truly there. Surround her boys with your calm and safety. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer reveals the desires of your heart, but have you considered whether these desires are in sweet harmony with the revealed will of God? You speak much of “if it be your will,” yet the core of your petition seeks to draw a man’s heart toward you, to secure a visa, to rush toward marriage and a ready-made family. These are no small things. I would ask you plainly: Is your soul safe in the hands of Christ before you lean so heavily upon these earthly longings? We are prone to hunt after wealth of affection and comfort, to travel the pathways of romance, and to exhaust ourselves in dreams that may be nothing but vanity if God is not in them. Many a soul has cried, “There is no hope,” and walked after its own devices, mistaking its own will for the leading of Providence.

You pray that God would stir a deep spark within this man. But is it ours to command the Spirit’s work upon another’s heart? God’s will is the axle of the universe, and He has mercy on whom He will have mercy. You cannot make the blood of Christ effectual for your plans, nor can you bend omnipotence to your timetable. The true posture of a child of God is not “I will have this man’s affection,” but “Not as I will, but as Thou wilt.” The Lord Jesus Himself, in His agony, cried, “Father, I will,” yet immediately added, “Not as I will.” Have you learned that holy combination? The prayer that prevails is the prayer that first surrenders all self-interest at the foot of the Cross.

I fear there may be a deeper peril. You speak of a new relationship, of a future together, of marriage and stepsons. But have you paused to ask whether this connection is framed according to the pattern of sound words? The world rushes into intimacies without the covenant bond, and many call it love which is but a fire of strange incense before the Lord. If you are walking in any path that Scripture forbids, whether in thought, word, or deed, then no amount of “if it be your will” can sweeten disobedience. God’s revealed will is plain: flee fornication; let marriage be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled. Do not dream of a united family while resting in a shadow of impurity. First be yourself a jewel in the Redeemer’s crown, a brand plucked from the burning, then seek a companion who is equally yoked in the fear of God.

Consider, too, that you speak of a man becoming a provider and a stepfather. But what is a man profited if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Far better that you both be found among God’s people, washed in the blood of the Lamb, than that you secure a visa and a ring while remaining strangers to saving grace. Do you know to whom you belong? Can you say, “I am not worthy of God’s thoughts, yet He has betrothed me unto Himself forever”? If you are not God’s own child, all these other hopes are ropes of sand. If you are His, then you may trust that no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly, but that good is measured by His wisdom, not by your longing.

Therefore, I bid you cease from the restless scheming that cries, “We will go, we will buy, we will sell, we will get gain.” Instead, fall prostrate at the throne and say, “Lord, do what You will with me. If it pleases Thee to grant this relationship, I will receive it with thanksgiving; if not, I will count it a mercy that I am spared from a snare.” Make it your first business to ensure that your name is engraved on the palms of Christ’s hands, that you are indeed a vessel of mercy. Then, having committed your way unto the Lord, wait patiently for Him. He will bring it to pass in His own time, and if your desire is denied you, it will be because He has reserved something better, more of Himself, more of heaven, more of the pearl of great price which shall never be taken away.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. The crowning mercy of your life will not be a husband’s declaration of love, but the day when you see the King in His beauty and the crown upon His head. Let that be your song in the night, and then, whatever befalls, you shall not be ashamed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The desire for marriage is not a sin. Marriage is honorable, the bond ordained of God, and the bed undefiled. But you ask for a spark, a romance stirred within this man. Take care: the flame of lust is not the warmth of godly love. Many pray for a partner, but few pray for a chaste heart. If you seek a husband, seek one "in the Lord," with holiness, not with the urgings of passion that belong to the stage, not to the sanctuary.

You pray for a visa, for a visit. Yet ask yourself: will you go as a sister in Christ, or as one who stirs desires that have no lawful outlet except in marriage? The time before marriage is a season for testing the spirits, for seeing if he is a man of God, not for kindling flames you have no right to quench. Do not prepare for that visit with the world's adornment of body or with daydreams of romance, but with prayer, fasting, and counsel. The world's way is to provoke attraction; the Christian way is to preserve chastity.

If this man is to be your husband, let his heart be won by your reverence and chaste conduct, not by a spark. A marriage built on the sand of passionate feeling crumbles when the storms come; a marriage rooted in the Lord stands firm. Lay your deepest desires on the altar, but also lay there every thought of impurity, every plan that would cause you or him to stumble. For if you cause sin, even with a future hope of marriage, you corrupt that which God intends for holiness.

Use marriage with moderation, and you may be first in the kingdom; but if you approach it with the manners of the theatre, you bring in ruin. Do not be like those who introduce harlots at weddings, much less in the very preparation of the heart. Invite Christ to your hopes. He is invited by care for the poor, by modesty, by blushes and shamefacedness, not by seeking a "perfect fit" for your life as the world defines it. Let your prayer be this: that you and he may be shaped into a man and a woman fit for the kingdom, and if marriage serves that end, God will grant it in His time. But do not run ahead of His chastening hand.

I can sense the deep longing in your words: the hope for a future together, the desire for a secure family, the willingness to place it all before the Lord. That is a good and right thing. Scripture says we are to make our requests known to God with thanksgiving, and you have done that. It is a sign of faith to trust these dreams into His hands rather than clutching them anxiously for yourself.

And yet, as I read your prayer, I want to gently remind you of a truth that often gets lost in the excitement of new possibilities. It is easy to confuse an open door with full approval. When a path clears, when a visa application seems to move forward, when feelings deepen, we can be tempted to think that God is putting His signature on every detail of our plan. But Scripture warns that people sometimes mistake the patience and longsuffering of God for His endorsement. Just because He does not immediately block a thing does not mean He is blessing it. His silence or His allowance can be a test, a chance for us to seek His heart honestly, not just His hand of provision.

This is why your prayer “above all let Your will be done” is so crucial. It shifts the center from getting what you desire to becoming who He wants you to be. The deepest security is not in a relationship or a visa stamp but in the fact that you are already beloved in Christ. Not because of your own goodness, but because His righteousness is credited to you by faith. If you are in the family of God, you are already accepted. That frees you to hold your future plans loosely.

Consider Abraham. He left everything familiar, not even knowing where he was going. He simply trusted the God who called him. He did not need to scheme or manipulate the outcome; he rested in the promises. He could have boasted if his blessings came by his own cleverness, but he could not boast before God. His journey was marked by waiting, by missteps, and yet by a steady hope. That is your model.

I also know what it is to face an uncertain future with the pain of not knowing how things will fall. There have been seasons in my own life, times of family grief, of wrestling with my calling, of not seeing the path ahead, when I felt like I was bleeding inside. But even then, and especially then, I learned that hope does not rest in circumstances. Hope rests in what God has already done. The death of Christ for sinners is the unshakable proof of His love. When you wonder if He has your good in view, look to the cross. He did not spare His own Son; how will He not also, in love, guide your steps?

So as you wait for phone calls, paperwork, and decisions, do not put your trust in the sound of a man’s words or in a consular officer’s favor. Do not interpret every positive turn as a guarantee. Instead, keep your heart low before the Lord. Seek His approval, not just a sign. The one who trusts in human schemes will always have an angle, but the one who trusts in God can lay down in peace, even in the middle of uncertainty.

God has already spoken over your future. In Christ, the final outcome of your life, your glorification with Him, is so certain that Scripture speaks of it in the past tense. That means whatever happens with this relationship, this visit, this blend of families, your ultimate future is secure. You can smile through tears because the hope of sharing in the glory of God is real. It will not disappoint.

Keep lifting your desires to Him, yes, but also glory in the waiting. Let this season produce patience. Let the hoping refine your character. And if God should close a door you thought was open, trust that His love for you is not diminished. Your worth is not in being seen as a perfect fit for someone’s life; your worth is that Christ died for you while you were still unworthy. That is the love that will never fail.

Walk in that peace, and let it guide your every step.
