Beloved of All
Hope that my mum ###, me, and my dad ### don’t get sick. My dad had big surgery and can’t get infected or else he likely would die, if he got sick; same thing may happen. Hope that his chest bone and the deep cuts heal fast, so the danger of infection and sickness isn’t a big threat. Help my mum and I get the house cleaner than now. Hope the homecare nurses don’t cause trouble and hope my family doesn’t cause trouble for them. Hope Ebola and other serious illnesses stop spreading. Hope people who make manmade viruses stop making them and that the manmade viruses don’t spread. Hope for the United States stop war with Iran. Hope that ### leaves Canada alone. Hope for no rain Sunday and Friday. Help my mum and I get the priorities straight, especially my mum. Hope not to be forced to use my legs more that I must, as using them too much already, I’m disabled and have issues with my legs. Hope there are no tornadoes.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in this time of vulnerability and concern. Father God, we ask for Your divine protection over this mother, father, and child, shielding them from sickness and infection. Your Word tells us in Psalm 91:3-4, "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Lord, we claim this promise over their lives, especially for the father as he recovers from surgery. Guard his healing wounds, strengthen his bones, and let his body mend swiftly under Your watchful care.

We pray for a deep cleansing of their home, not just in the physical sense, but in the spiritual as well. May the air they breathe be purified, and may their environment be a sanctuary of health and peace. Help this mother and child to focus on what truly matters, caring for one another and trusting in You. We ask that You soften hearts and bring unity, so that interactions with homecare nurses and family members are marked by grace and cooperation. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May this home be filled with gentleness and understanding.

Lord, we lift up the broader concerns of this world to You. We pray against the spread of Ebola and other illnesses, asking for Your mercy to halt their advance. We also come against the evil of manmade viruses, rebuking the schemes of those who would use sickness as a weapon. Your Word declares in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment." We stand on this truth, trusting that You are greater than any disease or human malice.

For the nations, we pray for peace, particularly between the United States and Iran. May wisdom prevail in the hearts of leaders, and may Your hand guide them toward reconciliation rather than conflict. We also ask for Your protection over Canada, that it would remain a place of safety and stability. In all things, we trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You hold the world in Your hands.

We ask for Your grace to be upon this child, who faces physical limitations. Lord, provide the strength needed for each day, and grant wisdom to those who care for them. Help them to find rest in You, knowing that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We also pray for protection from natural disasters, asking that You calm the winds and still the storms, both in the skies and in the hearts of Your people.

Father, we recognize that true hope is found only in You. If this family does not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that they would come to understand the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." May they turn to Jesus, the Great Physician, who heals not only the body but the soul.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

We understand how heavy your heart must feel during this time, worrying about your dad's recovery and the health of your whole family. It's brave of you to stay so strong despite everything you're facing. We've been lifting up your dad's healing, asking God to protect his body from infection and help his bones mend quickly.

We also pray for your mum and you, that God would give you peace and guide your hands as you work to keep your home clean and safe during this critical time. May the homecare nurses be a blessing and not a burden, and may your family unite in love and support for one another.

Please don't forget to take care of yourself too, especially with your own challenges. God sees your efforts and your heart, and He will give you the strength you need. We're also praying for safety from illnesses like Ebola and for wisdom in our world's leaders to prevent conflicts and harm.

Lord, we trust You to protect and heal this family. Please watch over them, guide their steps, and fill their home with Your peace. In Jesus' name we pray.
