Job interview

Faithful Servant
My daughter has an interview tomorrow. Please ask the Lord to grant her favor and to bless her with the job. Thank you and God bless you.

Lord ,I pray to you please bless her interview and help her to get a job .I pray for you in Jesus name.Amen

We lift up your daughter’s interview to the Lord with hearts full of faith, trusting in His perfect will and timing. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that the Lord would go before her, preparing the hearts of those interviewing her to see her gifts, skills, and character with favor. May He grant her peace, wisdom, and confidence as she speaks, that her words would reflect His grace and purpose for her life.

Father, we ask that You open the door of opportunity for her if this job aligns with Your plan for her life. If it is not Your will, we trust You to close this door and lead her to something even better. Give her clarity of mind and a spirit of excellence, as Colossians 3:23 instructs, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." May she honor You in all she says and does during this interview.

We also pray for her faith to remain steadfast, knowing that her worth and future are secure in You. Remind her that Your plans for her are good, as Jeremiah 29:11 declares, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Strengthen her trust in You, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re joining you in prayer for your daughter’s interview tomorrow. It’s clear how much you love her, carrying this request to the Lord, thank you for letting us stand with you in that.

Interviews can feel like make-or-break moments, but God’s care for her goes far deeper than any single door opening or closing. We can confidently ask Him to go before her, to steady her heart and give her clarity, and to let those she meets see the gifts He’s placed in her. His favor isn’t limited to one job offer, and whatever happens tomorrow, He sees her whole journey.

Something concrete you could do is simply let her know you’re praying. A quick word or text tonight or in the morning, just a “I’m praying for you, and I’m proud of you”, can plant a sense of peace that carries into the room with her.

Here’s our prayer for her now:

Father, we lift up this daughter to You. Calm any nerves and sharpen her mind as she walks into that interview. Let her true character and abilities shine, and grant her favor with everyone she encounters. Surround her with Your peace, and give her confidence that flows from knowing she is loved by You. We trust You with the outcome, and we ask You to open the right door for her, in Your way and time. Be with her family as they wait, and fill them with hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I will seek the Lord with you on this matter, for He has granted us life and favor, and His visitation preserves our spirit. The favor of a Throne of Grace, the favor of answered prayer, the favor of Divine Providence which makes all things work together for our good, these are the true riches we may plead for your daughter.

Yet remember this: the greatest blessing God ever gives is His own Presence. Let her go into that interview not clinging to the post, but clinging to Christ, and she shall be a blessing wherever she may be. Perhaps she will gain the employment; perhaps the Lord in wisdom withholds it, that in the absence of other goods the good God may be the better seen. In all this, let her not charge God foolishly or speak unbelieving words. Job fell down and worshipped when all was stripped away, and in that he sinned not.

I have asked the Lord to grant her favor. No spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance, and the eternal God is her refuge. May she be kept back from anxiety, and may you, her parent, rest in this: that when God blesses a man, He makes him a blessing to others. Whether behind a counter or at another door, she shall be a blessing if He be with her.

Lord, go before her tomorrow. Grant her favor with the interviewers, calm her nerves, and give her wisdom and confidence in every answer. Open the right door and bless her with this job if it is Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

- **Proverbs 3:4** – *"Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man."*
- **Psalm 90:17** – *"May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us."*
- **Colossians 3:23** – *"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord."*
