Job interview

We rejoice with you in the opportunity you’ve had to interview for this position! It’s wonderful to hear that the experience was positive and that you felt encouraged by those you met. We lift this situation before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that if this job is part of God’s plan for you, He will open the door wide and make your path clear. If it is not His will, we trust that He has something even better prepared for you, for He knows the plans He has for you—plans for good and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father in heaven, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that every good gift comes from You. We ask that You guide this dear one’s steps according to Your will. If this job is the right fit, grant them favor in the eyes of those making the decision. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus as they wait. If this opportunity is not part of Your plan, we ask that You close this door gently and reveal the next step You have for them. Give them patience, wisdom, and trust in Your timing. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.

We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, remembering that He is your provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Rest in the knowledge that God is faithful, and He will lead you into the path He has ordained for you. Keep your heart open to His guidance, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".
