🙇🏻 Jesus, Shepherd Your Sheep🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17; ⛓️💥 Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18 -- Lord Jesus, thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.

🧎🏻Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, 'I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.’

🙇🏻 Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We lift our voices together in fervent prayer, standing in the gap for the persecuted church, the weary, the heavy-laden, and all who call upon the name of Jesus. Your heartfelt cry for the Shepherd to tend His flock resonates deeply with us, for we know the Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep (John 10:11). We join you in declaring that Jesus alone is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). It is only by His name that we have access to the throne of grace, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Father, we pray for our brothers and sisters who are suffering persecution, imprisonment, and even death for the sake of Your name. Strengthen them with power through Your Spirit in their inner being, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). May they know the breadth, length, height, and depth of Your love, which surpasses all understanding. We ask for miraculous deliverance, as You released Peter from prison by the hand of an angel (Acts 12:7-10), and for the salvation of their captors, as You saved the Philippian jailer and his household (Acts 16:29-34). Grant them boldness to proclaim the gospel, even in chains, and fill them with joy in the midst of suffering (Colossians 1:24).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that seeks to silence Your people. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for relief from persecution, but if it must continue, let it serve to advance the gospel, just as Paul’s imprisonment did (Philippians 1:12-14). May the testimonies of Your faithfulness spread like wildfire, drawing many to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

For those of us who are free, stir our hearts to remember those in chains as if bound with them (Hebrews 13:3). Break our hearts for the lost and the suffering, that we may visit the sick, clothe the naked, and minister to the imprisoned (Matthew 25:36). Give us opportunities to support and encourage our persecuted family, whether through prayer, advocacy, or practical aid. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9).

We also lift up those who are weary and heavy-laden. Jesus, You invite all who are weary to come to You and find rest (Matthew 11:28). We pray that many would hear Your voice and respond, laying down their burdens at Your feet. May they find comfort in Your promise that those who wait on You shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Father, we ask for Your protection over Your flock from the schemes of the evil one. Clothe us with the full armor of God, that we may stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let no ungodly influence take root. We rebuke the spirit of deception and division that seeks to infiltrate the church. Help us to be vigilant, studying Your Word and testing every spirit to see whether it is from You (1 John 4:1). May we be unified in love and truth, speaking the truth in love as we grow up in every way into Christ (Ephesians 4:15).

Lord, we confess that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5). We need You desperately, every hour, every moment. Draw us nearer to You, that we may abide in Your love and bear much fruit. Teach us to pray without ceasing, to give thanks in all circumstances, and to rejoice always, for this is Your will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that we may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10).

We pray for those who do not yet know You. Soften their hearts to receive the gospel, and send laborers into the harvest (Matthew 9:38). Let Your Word go forth and accomplish the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). May many come to repentance and faith, turning from idols to serve the living and true God (1 Thessalonians 1:9).

Finally, Lord, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon Your church. Revive us again, that we may rejoice in You (Psalm 85:6). Let love abound in us more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that we may approve what is excellent and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:9-11).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior, Redeemer, and King. Amen.

Your prayer has stirred our hearts. Thank you for pouring out so many faithful cries before the Lord, for the flock, the persecuted, and the whole body. It is clear that you are already drawing near to God, and we trust He is meeting you in that place.

We want you to know that we are adding our Amen to every petition you have raised. There is real strength in knowing others are standing with you in prayer, especially when you intercede for those in chains or in spiritual battles. Your words are not just words; they are a vital part of Christ's shepherding care for His church. As you continue, you might share this prayer aloud with a trusted friend or a small group, gathering even two or three can deepen the sense of God’s presence and reinforce your own heart.

Lord Jesus, Shepherd of Your sheep, we join this prayer. Draw near to every believer under pressure, and grant relief to those imprisoned for their faith. Surround them with Your angels, give them boldness, and let them feel Your nearness. Strengthen us all to abide in You, the true vine, so that our lives bear lasting fruit for Your glory. Deliver us from evil and make us ready, in season and out, to give an answer for the hope within us. We thank You that You hear us. In Your name, Amen.

The cry of your heart has risen as incense before the throne, and the very Scriptures you have woven into your supplication testify that you know the Shepherd’s voice. The sheep are scattered, yet never beyond His care; they are pressed, yet never forsaken. In the furnace of persecution, the Church has ever been refined, not consumed. I have long said that a little persecution for the church in England would be a grand thing, it would shake us from our velvety slumber, and so your prayer for our suffering brethren overseas is a call to remember that their chains are our own, for we are one body. Hebrews 10:34 stands sure: we have a better and an enduring possession, and in visiting them by prayer and sympathy, we visit Christ Himself.

You plead for deliverance, and rightly so. The history of God’s people is a scroll of deliverances, from the pit with no water to the prison doors flying open at midnight. I have tasted this: I crossed my own Jabbok full of fear, and found my Esau falling on my neck with kisses. So it ever is, when the time is ripe, the Lord brings forth His prisoners by the blood of the covenant. That ransom is found! Not a loophole of human wit, but the deep, eternal contrivance of Free Grace. And mark this: He not only releases but He leads forth. He makes the deliverance effectual, for the Lamb has been slain. In every pang of the persecuted, the Man of Sorrows is doubly near.

Yet you do not ask only for outward relief, but for inward boldness and sanctity. This is the marrow of the matter. We come boldly to the throne, not presumptuously, but with the confidence of sons, because the throne is a throne of grace. From every night-watcher, every prisoner of hope, I hear the cry, “Let us come boldly.” And when we come, what then? Abide in the Vine, for apart from Him nothing is possible, no fruit, no purity, no poised answer to gainsayers. The world’s wolves are keen-nosed, but the Shepherd’s staff is strong. Keep Him holy in your hearts, and the very respect of your answer will leave ungodliness without excuse.

Remember this, too: deliverance from the power of sin is as much a divine work as deliverance from its guilt. Christ does not patch up the old man; He translates us from the kingdom of darkness. If you would bear much fruit, you must be experimentally delivered, not dabbling in sin for a season, but wholly translated. The hypocrite shuns a cross-bearing church, but the true saint, though trembling, presses on. Let love abound in knowledge, that you may choose the best things and stand sincere and blameless. Our little troubles at home, if rightly used, make us gentler abroad, and equip us to sympathize with those in bonds.

Labor in prayer, then, and in diligent obedience to all things commanded. Study, guard the flock, feed the lambs. I have seen that when the enemy roars loudest, the church is often nearest her Lord. The stake at Smithfield gave back holy fire; the dungeon of Philippi saw the jailer washed and rejoicing. So shall it be again. Rejoice, for great is your reward in heaven. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth you, and your tongue shall yet declare His works among the prisoners of hope. Turn to the stronghold, you who know the Shepherd’s care, for He shall surely come and give deliverance to His Israel once again.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have prayed well, calling upon the Good Shepherd to guard His sheep, and remembering those in chains as though bound with them. Such a prayer springs from a heart that has begun to taste the freedom of the sons of God. For you ask not for earthly ease but for deliverance, boldness, and the fruit of righteousness, things which none can supply but Christ alone. And this is fitting, since we have received the Spirit of adoption, the earnest of the inheritance to come. The same God who established you in Christ and anointed you with His Spirit will surely supply all that is lacking.

Yet when you pray for the persecuted, recall the Apostle’s command: “Bless them which persecute you; bless, and curse not.” This is no small counsel. To endure suffering may be done by many who are wise according to the world, but to bless those who inflict it is quite an angel’s part. Do you see? They who persecute you become purveyors of a reward to you. If you bless them, you gain a double recompense: the crown laid up for suffering, and the greater reward of love shown to Christ. When you are reviled, do not revile again; when you suffer, do not threaten, but speak words full of gentleness and meekness, imitating the tongue of Christ. He, when struck, did not hold His peace like one powerless, but answered with such mildness that He proved His sovereignty. So also, when you joyfully accept the seizing of your possessions, knowing you have a better and lasting possession, you not only strengthen your own soul but teach the persecutor that you journey toward another life.

But take heed lest your zeal for the afflicted become a snare. Nothing provokes God’s anger like division in the Church. Even the blood of martyrdom cannot wash away the sin of tearing apart the body of Christ. Therefore, as you intercede for the persecuted, let love abound more and more, so that you cleave to one another as members of the same Head. Whether you suffer or are at ease, be on guard against the love of power and the defilements of the heart, those things that proceed from within and defile a man. Strive to walk among men as angels do, in perfect self-restraint, abiding apart from all lust and all turmoil. For our Shepherd leads us away from the company of evil men, that hearing His voice alone we may follow Him in safety.

The enemy may roar, but the Shepherd has laid down His life for the sheep. He will not suffer you to be tempted beyond what you are able. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. Speak His words, and your tongue shall be as a hand laying hold of the feet of God. Then, being reviled, you will bless; being persecuted, you will endure; and in all things you will show forth the life of Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
