Beloved of All
🙇🏻 Jesus, Shepherd Your Sheep🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17; ⛓️💥 Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18... Lord Jesus, thank You that You are The LORD our Shepherd, Ps 23:1-6. You are The Good Shepherd that lay down Your life for us, Your sheep, John 10:11. Thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on wisdom and knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by abiding in You and Your teaching, John 15:1-9, studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.

🧎🏻Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, "I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me." Be their Shepherd even in those situations, Rom 8:38-39.

🙇🏻 Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, 2 Tim 2:25, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Let us freely receive Your abundant love and freely give it to others, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons, Matt 10:8. Not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, do whatever You please, but as the Earth You have given to the sons of men, help us rule in part with You even now, Ps 115:1-18. Perfect our love, for as You are, so also are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in this beautiful and scripturally rich prayer and we say amen to your cry for Jesus to shepherd His sheep.

We love how you have anchored this request in the Word, for He is indeed the Shepherd we need. As it is written in Micah 5:4, He will stand, and will shepherd in the strength of Yahweh, and in Psalm 23:1, Yahweh is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing. We rejoice with you that He is the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep in John 10:11, and that His sheep hear His voice and follow Him in John 10:27, and that He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out in John 10:3. We cling to the promise in Revelation 7:17 that the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of living waters, and in Isaiah 40:11 that He will feed His flock like a shepherd, He will gather the lambs in His arm, and carry them in His bosom.

We agree with you in praying for the flock and for those who shepherd among us. We ask the Lord to raise up faithful elders to shepherd the flock of God which is among you in 1 Peter 5:2, not under compulsion but willingly, and to guard the flock from savage wolves as warned in Acts 20:28-29. We pray that we all would remain in Him, for apart from Him we can do nothing in John 15:5, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us in Philippians 4:13, and that we would be filled with the knowledge of His love in Ephesians 3:18.

We especially join you in remembering those in chains. We take to heart Hebrews 13:3 to remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and Colossians 4:18 to remember our bonds. We lift up our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world who suffer for the name of Jesus. We pray for their relief and deliverance as You showed Your power when Herod laid hands on some who belonged to the assembly to mistreat them and had James the brother of John killed with the sword in Acts 12:1-2, and yet You sent an angel to release Peter from prison in Acts 12:7, and You shook the prison doors for Paul and Silas and brought salvation to the Philippian jailer and his household in Acts 16:26. We ask You to comfort them, to give them boldness, and to move Your people to visit them as You said in Matthew 25:36, I was in prison and you visited me, and to sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the plundering of possessions knowing we have a better and an enduring possession in the heavens in Hebrews 10:34. We pray that nothing will be able to separate them from Your love, neither death nor life nor any created thing in Romans 8:38-39.

We pray together now, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Shepherd. Lord Jesus, thank You for laying down Your life for us and for leading us with wisdom and knowledge. Take care of us, defend us, and feed us. Give Your angels charge over us in our spiritual battles according to Psalm 91:11 and Hebrews 1:14. Strengthen every believer who is weary and heavy laden and give them rest, for Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light in Matthew 11:28-30. Draw near to us as we draw near to You in James 4:8. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one in 2 Thessalonians 3:2 and Matthew 6:13, and keep us from temptation. Let Your love abound in us more and more in knowledge and all discernment in Philippians 1:9, so that we may approve the things that are excellent and be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God in Philippians 1:11. Help us to keep You holy in our hearts and to be ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks us a reason concerning the hope that is in us with humility and fear in 1 Peter 3:15. Work everything out for the furtherance of the Good News in Philippians 1:12, and let us freely receive and freely give Your healing and grace. Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to Your name give glory in Psalm 115:1. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer for the flock and for brothers and sisters under pressure. Your love for the church comes through clearly, and your desire to see people kept close to Jesus, guarded, fed and at rest in Him is beautiful.

It is a lot to carry when you hold both the local flock and the persecuted church on your heart at once. We find it helps to remember that shepherding is shared work. We are not alone in watching and caring; we belong to a community where love is translated in concrete ways through teaching, fellowship and service, and where growth happens over the long haul, more like training than trying, day by day abiding.

If it would help, consider sharing this burden with a few trusted believers near you, praying together regularly for those in chains and for your own congregation, and staying rooted in your local gathering for mutual strength. Even small faithful steps together matter.

Father, we thank You for being the Shepherd who knows Your sheep and lays down Your life for them. Draw near to each one we lift up, especially those who are weary, in prison or under threat, and keep them in Your care. Strengthen Your flock where we live to abide in You, love one another well, and bear fruit that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, amen.

How sweet it is to join our hearts with yours in praising the Lord our Shepherd, and to bring these petitions before His throne of grace. We bless God with you that He has revealed Himself as the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep, John 10:11, and who now lives as the Great Shepherd to make His people perfect in every good work to do His will, and as the Chief Shepherd who shall appear to reward His flock.

With you we take up that choice word, The Lord is my Shepherd, Psalm 23:1. As it has been well said, no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly, and spiritual mercies being the best of good things, we may ask for them with confidence. He supplies our needs, pities our infirmities, pardons our wanderings, and keeps us in safe protection until we come home to Heaven. He is good up to the highest point of goodness, good in watchful oversight and good in prudent leadership, and He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out, and they hear His voice and follow Him, John 10:3, 4, 27.

We pray with you that He would shepherd the whole flock of God among us, 1 Peter 5:2, that He would feed us on wisdom and knowledge, give His angels charge over us in spiritual battle, Psalm 91:9 to 16, Hebrews 1:14, and keep us abiding in the Vine, John 15:5, that we may bear much fruit. May He guard us from the wolves that would draw us away, Acts 20:28 and 29, and keep us in His teaching, that we may be ready to give an answer for the hope within us with meekness and fear, 1 Peter 3:15.

For those in chains we lift our voice as you have done, remembering them as bound with them, Hebrews 13:3. The Church of God has often been preserved by persecution, and though tried, she has never been forsaken. He who delivered Peter from prison, Acts 12:3 to 17, and who shook the prison at Philippi for Paul and Silas, Acts 16:27 to 32, still knows how to save His people. What He has done in the past He can do again. We ask the Lord to grant relief where it pleases Him, and where He appoints the furnace, to grant boldness and heavenly comfort, that whether by deliverance or by sustaining grace, Christ may be magnified. May He visit those in prison, clothe the naked, and strengthen those who joyfully accept the plundering of their goods, knowing they have a better and abiding possession, Hebrews 10:34.

We ask that none who suffer may think God has forsaken them. He is too good and too true to forsake His children. He may hide His face for a moment to do them good, but it is not in a Father's heart to be always angry with His child. Not one good thing has failed of all that the Lord has promised. May every weary and heavy laden soul hear His invitation and come to Him for rest, Matthew 11:28 to 30, and may He draw many around us to Jesus, working all things for the furtherance of the gospel, Philippians 1:12.

We pray that love may abound in knowledge and discernment, Philippians 1:9 to 11, that we may be kept from evil and the evil one, Matthew 6:13, John 17:15, and be filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Not unto us, but to His name give glory, Psalm 115:1. May we freely receive His abundant love and freely give it, living as those who can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Philippians 4:13, until the Chief Shepherd appears.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
