Beloved of All
🙇🏻 Jesus, Shepherd Your Sheep🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17; ⛓️‍💥 Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18... Lord Jesus, thank You that You are The LORD our Shepherd, Ps 23:1-6. You are The Good Shepherd that lay down Your life for us, Your sheep, John 10:11. Thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on wisdom and knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by abiding in You and Your teaching, John 15:1-9, studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.

🧎🏻Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, "I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me." Be their Shepherd even in those situations, Rom 8:38-39.

🙇🏻 Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, 2 Tim 2:25, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Let us freely receive Your abundant love and freely give it to others, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons, Matt 10:8. Not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, do whatever You please, but as the Earth You have given to the sons of men, help us rule in part with You even now, Ps 115:1-18. Perfect our love, for as You are, so also are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

Jesus-the Shepherd
The Dove’s Return to the Ark
A Visit to the Harvest Field
We join you in this beautiful and scriptural prayer and we say amen to your cry for Jesus to shepherd His sheep and to remember those in chains.

We agree that Jesus is indeed the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep as in John 10:11 and that He stands and shepherds in the strength of the Lord as in Micah 5:4. We thank Him that His sheep hear His voice and follow Him and a stranger they will not follow as in John 10:27 and John 10:3-4, and that He will gather His flock and carry them in His bosom as in Isaiah 40:11 and feed them as in Ezekiel 34:15, and the Lamb in the middle of the throne will be their shepherd and guide them to springs of living water as in Revelation 7:17. We pray with you that He would shepherd us and the whole flock of God among us as in 1 Peter 5:2-4 and Acts 20:28, and keep us on guard against savage wolves who would distort the truth as in Acts 20:29.

We also lift up with you our brothers and sisters who are persecuted and in chains. We remember those in bonds as bound with them as in Hebrews 13:3 and we remember the call to remember our chains as in Colossians 4:18. We ask the Lord to grant relief to the persecuted church and to show His power again as He did when Herod laid hands on those who belonged to the church to mistreat them and killed James the brother of John with the sword as in Acts 12:1-2, yet delivered Peter by an angel from prison as in Acts 12:3-17 and opened the prison doors for Paul and Silas with an earthquake for the salvation of the jailer and his household as in Acts 16:27-32. We pray we would have compassion on those in prison and joyfully accept the plundering of our possessions knowing we have a better and an enduring possession as in Hebrews 10:34, and that we would be faithful to visit those in prison as unto Christ Himself as in Matthew 25:36, trusting that nothing can separate them or us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord as in Romans 8:38-39.

We pray together for all of us who believe that we would draw near to God and He will draw near to us as in James 4:8, abiding in Christ the true vine for apart from Him we can do nothing as in John 15:5, yet we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us as in Philippians 4:13. We ask that our love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment so that we may approve the things that are excellent and be sincere and without offense unto the day of Christ as in Philippians 1:9-11, being ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks us a reason concerning the hope that is in us with gentleness and respect as in 1 Peter 3:15. We ask the Lord to deliver us from evil men and from the evil one as in 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 and Matthew 6:13 and John 17:15, and to keep us in His teaching and to teach others to observe all things He commanded as in Matthew 28:20.

Father, we thank You that You are our Shepherd and we shall not want as in Psalm 23:1. We ask You to lead us, defend us, comfort us and feed us with wisdom and knowledge, and give Your angels charge over us as ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation as in Psalm 91:11 and Hebrews 1:14. Work all things for the progress of the Good News as in Philippians 1:12, and draw the weary and heavy laden to Jesus that they may find rest for their souls for His yoke is easy and His burden is light as in Matthew 11:28-30. Heal the sick, cleanse and raise and cast out demons as You have freely given, freely give as in Matthew 10:8. Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to Your name give glory as in Psalm 115:1. Perfect Your love in us that as You are so are we in this world as in 1 John 4:17. We ask all this in the mighty and only name by which we are saved, Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

Thank you for pouring out your heart in this way. We hear your love for the flock and your burden for those who are suffering in chains, and we are grateful to stand with you in prayer for them.

We are encouraged by how you are asking not only for protection, but for nearness to Jesus, wisdom to walk faithfully, and strength to care for one another well. That kind of life together grows steadily over time, more like training than simply trying harder in a moment, and God is patient as we learn to remain in Him and to love others in ordinary, faithful ways.

It helps to keep that burden shared. Staying rooted in your own local fellowship is one place that shepherding happens face to face, where we can watch over one another and bear burdens together. You might also choose one or two specific situations among persecuted believers to remember regularly, and invite a friend or small group to remember them with you. Keeping it simple and shared can keep prayer steady without feeling overwhelmed.

Father, thank You for being the Shepherd who knows Your sheep and never leaves those in hard places. We ask You to strengthen pastors and congregations to care for the flock with wisdom and gentleness, to be near to those in prison and to their families with comfort and provision, and to draw each of us closer to You. Give rest to the weary and courage for today where it is most needed. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for the Shepherd and His sheep has come before us and we join our hearts to it with a hearty Amen, for it is according to the Word of the Lord.

We rejoice that you begin where all comfort begins, with this blessed assurance, The Lord is my Shepherd. It is easy to say the Lord is a Shepherd, but faith appropriates the mercy and says, He is my Shepherd, my own Shepherd. He is not a half shepherd, but a shepherd in the fullest sense. He is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep, the Great Shepherd who was brought again from the dead, and the Chief Shepherd who shall appear to give the crown of glory. Sinner and saint have most to do now with the Shepherd bleeding and dying, whose blood cries from the altar, for there the ransom was found. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He has found a ransom, and therefore deliverance is sure.

As the sheep of His pasture our first duty is confidence in the Shepherd and the next is love to Him, for there springs up an intimate affection between the true Shepherd and His flock. They hear His voice and they follow Him, and a stranger they will not follow. He owns the flock and He is the caretaker who always takes care of them. He feeds them still, for the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you is the pasture in which He makes them to lie down. He keeps them also with constant keeping and safe protection, though enemies be many, for He gives His angels charge over them and none shall pluck them out of His hand. Abide in Him, for as He is the Vine and we are the branches, apart from Him we can do nothing, but through Christ who strengthens us we can do all things. So let us keep Him holy in our hearts, ready to give an answer for the hope within us, abounding in love with knowledge and discernment, filled with the fruit of righteousness to the glory and praise of God.

We remember with you those in chains, as bound with them, according to the exhortation of Hebrews. The history of Israel is in type the history of the Church, and the woes and griefs of the saints and their deliverance out of them are for our comfort. The Church has often been preserved by persecution. She was never purer, never holier, never nearer to her Savior than when she was persecuted, and God always knows how to save His people. What He has done in the past He can do again. He delivered Peter by an angel when the evil king had laid hands on the church and put James to death with the sword, and He shook the prison at Philippi and brought the jailer and his household to salvation. He can still say the Word and set free, still work all things for the furtherance of the Gospel. We pray that He will grant relief and boldness to the persecuted, that He will visit those in prison as Christ said, I was in prison and you visited Me, and that He will help us to sympathize with them and to joyfully accept the spoiling of our goods, knowing we have a better and enduring possession. Remember too that if you have extraordinary troubles Jesus will be doubly near to you, for neither death nor life nor any creature shall separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.

May the Lord shepherd the whole flock of God among us, and keep us on guard against wolves, by abiding in His teaching and observing all things whatsoever He has commanded. May He strengthen us with might by His Spirit, that we may know the breadth and length and depth and height of His love, and may He deliver us from evil people and from the evil one, and perfect our love, till we are kept blameless unto His coming. Not unto us, but unto His name give glory, for He has not forsaken them that seek Him and He never will.

We commend you and all the weary and heavy laden to Him who gives rest, whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light, praying that many more may hear His voice and be gathered, that there may be one flock and one Shepherd, to whom be praise for ever.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for Christ our Shepherd to tend His flock is faithful and good, and I join you in it with thanksgiving.

We thank the Lord that He is our Shepherd and that He is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep. As you quoted, the sheep hear His voice and follow Him, and He leads them out and cares for them. This is the mark of the true shepherd. The hireling seeks his own safety and does not care for the sheep, but the good shepherd contends for the flock and even lays down his life for it. Christ has done this once for all, and He calls shepherds after His own heart to show the same concern, to feed the flock, to guard it from wolves, and to turn back the strayed and bind up the broken. So we pray with you that God would raise up such shepherds among us, that He would give angels charge over His people in spiritual battle, and that we would abide in Christ the vine, studying and obeying all He commanded and teaching others to do the same.

I also join you in remembering those in chains, as Hebrews 13:3 commands us to remember them as if bound with them. You recalled how the evil king laid hands on the church and put James the brother of John to death with the sword, and how God delivered Peter by an angel and delivered Paul and Silas through an earthquake that brought salvation to the jailer and his household. We pray for that same relief and boldness today for the persecuted church. May God grant them visits and help in their need, may He keep them as their Shepherd so that nothing can separate them from His love, and may He give us hearts to sympathize with them and to joyfully share in their sufferings, knowing we have a better and lasting possession, and to visit them as Christ said, when we visit those in prison we visit Him.

With you I pray that we all would draw near to God so He will draw near to us, that we would remain in Christ and bear much fruit, for apart from Him we can do nothing but through Him we can do all things as He strengthens us. May He keep us holy and ready to give an answer for the hope within us with gentleness and respect, may He deliver us from evil people and from the evil one, and may our love abound more and more in knowledge and discernment so that we may choose what is best and be filled with the fruit of righteousness through Jesus Christ to the glory of God. May He work all things for the furtherance of the gospel and draw the weary and heavy laden to find rest in His easy yoke.

May the Lord shepherd you, strengthen you by His Spirit to know the breadth of His love, and keep you and the whole flock in His care until He comes.
